1851 Obituary of Doralyn B. Marshall

Doralyn B. Marshall of Lockport died on March 16, 2021 at Millard Suburban Hospital. She was born in Lockport on December 13, 1932 the daughter of the late Victor R. and Marguerite (Weber) Boye.  Doralyn graduated from Lockport High School and Buffalo State College, earning both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in education. She taught for a number of years in the Niagara Falls public school system. She married and later stayed home to raise their two children.
 
When returning to work Doralyn was employed by the Niagara County Refuse Disposal District for 15 years. Upon the NYS mandate for waste management, she became Niagara County Recycling Educator, promoting the message of reduce, reuse and recycle to the public. She retired from Niagara County in 1991 and then worked for about 8 years in a legal office.  Doralyn succeeded in earning her private pilot's license at age 58 and enjoyed flying for nearly 20 years. She also was an avid sailor beginning in 1945 as an original tiller jockey on the Olcott Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program.  She enjoyed crewing on her daughter and son-in-law's sailboat in Olcott and had enjoyed Lake Ontario her whole life. She was a member of the Olcott Yacht Club.
 
Doralyn also enjoyed civic and political topics and served for many years as an elected Republican Committeeman. She had served the City of Lockport as a member of the Park and Shade Tree Commission. Her interest in local concerns
made her a frequent citizen attendee and speaker at the Common Council meetings. She was a member and past vestryman of Grace Episcopal Church in Lockport.  Doralyn took most pleasure in being part of a happy family and in the
sharing of many occasions and memories.
 
She was predeceased by her brother, Victor W. Boye and nephew, V. Richard Boye.  Doralyn is survived by her children, Susan (Mark) Cassidy of Olcott and Alan (Julie) Marshall of Geneseo; grandsons Gregory Marshall of NYC and ThomasMarshall of Geneseo; and also nieces Nancy Pohlman and Vicky Wysocki.
 
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Inurnment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery.  Donations to, The Olcott Mantel Club, PO Box 832, Olcott, NY 14126, to support the Olcott Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program would be appreciated by the family.  Visit pruddenandkandt.com.

1852 Obituary of Doris Bish

Doris N. Bish, age 88 of Sanborn, passed into the arms of her Lord on Sunday December 10, 2017, surrounded by her family in Niagara Hospice House in Lockport.
Doris was born December 28, 1928 in Summerville, PA, the daughter of the late Milo and Ethel M. (Sayers) Himes and was a graduate of Clarion Limestone High School. On July 27, 1946 she married Clarence E. Bish and they had resided in the Town of Cambria since 1954. Clarence predeceased her in 2010. Doris was a Cook and Hostess, employed by Niagara County Community College from 1979 to her retirement in 1992. Previous to that she was employed by the Starpoint High School.
Doris was a member of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church as well as a member of the Ransomville Rural Retirees.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing, crocheting, and cooking. Most of all, she loved being with her family.
She is survived by a son, Donald L. (Cheryl) Bish of Sanborn; two daughters, Nancy (late Michael) Reminder of Rochester and Ruth Ann (Daren) Blandin of Berlin, MA; her grandchildren, Laura (Greg) Marino, Gregory and Kevin (Christina) Bish, Ryan Hazel, Daniel (Alyssa) Gross, Ashley Reminder, Victoria (Nicholas) Wagner, Connor and Katherine Blandin; and nine great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Doris was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Manning and three brothers, Robert, Euprastus, and James Himes.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 13, at 11:00 am in the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, 3924 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, NY, with the pastor, Rev. William Lowery officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.

Doris E. Winter passed away July 31, 2022.  Born December 16, 1925 in Clarence, NY she is the daughter of George and Frances Engasser.  Doris was a lifetime farmer working alongside her husband for more than 50 years on their farm.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and gardening.  Doris was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Winter Jr. on October 5, 1994. 
Doris is survived by her children Mary Ellen (Daniel) Leffler, Lori (Howard) Dean, Edward (Tina) Winter, and Carolyn (Richard) Wagner; grandchildren Kirk (Shannon) Dean, Eric (Kelly) Dean, Keith Wagner, Edward Winter, and Terri Ann Fink; great grandchildren Chloe, Max, and Jack Dean, Jacob, Evan, and Brooklyn Dean, Andrea Spink, Elizabeth and Eleanor Winter, and James and Emma Fink;  predeceased by siblings Eleanor (late George) Gertstenmeyer, Kenneth (late Hilda) Engasser, Ethel (late Gene) Jahreis, Emilie (late Willie) Fitzner, George (late Marion) Engasser, Norman Engasser, and Richard Engasser;  also survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Engasser and several nieces and nephews.

Born on February 18, 1926 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Florence (VanBuren) Rankie. Doris appreciated nature, loved animals and wildlife, and took great delight in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church.Doris was predeceased by her husband, Henry R. Wiltberger, her son, Thomas Wiltberger, son-in-law, Craig Harmon and sister, Evelyn Wilber. Dorothy A. Breitsman
, of Medina, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Mrs. Breitsman was born in Medina, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Pearl (Lubawy) Cotriss.  She was a graduate of Medina High School and married Robert W. Breitsman on September 8, 1951. Mrs. Breitsman was employed as a bookkeeper for H.J. Heinz Co. and the Medina Journal-Register. She was a longtime parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Parish, St. Mary’s Church.  She loved animals, especially cats and dogs.
Mrs. Breitsman was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Robert W., on May 17, 2001; her sister, Louise Fortunato; and her grandson, Brian R. Michaels.
Survivors include her daughter, Judith (Peter) Michaels of Depew; grandson, Timothy (Dustin Clark) Michaels of Burke, VA; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside committal service will be held in May, 2020 in Boxwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.

Born in Hartland, New York on October 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mabel Dempsey Baer. Dorothy loved to spend time with her family, especially her five grandsons who were the lights of her life. Gardening, country music, love of animals, ball games and time with her husband filled her days but she always made time for others. Her smile, voice, laughter, personality but most of all her presence will be missed by everyone. Dorothy was born on January 15, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Victor J. and the late Violet C. (Armstrong) VanDenBosch. She married Thomas A. Napier on May 10, 1947, he predeceased her on June 22, 2010. She was employed by Niagara University as a Library Clerk. Dorothy was a charter member of the Ladies of the Moose #1940 in Lewiston, the Lower River V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, the Lewiston Democratic Committee, Lewiston Historical commission, and Assoc., the Elks Punta Gorda Lodge #2606, she was an avid reader, loved gardening, traveling, antique collecting, and enjoyed dancing.Dot loved her church and was a devote Catholic. She was an active member in St. Peters Church over the years including a member of the building committee that worked to raise money to build the school and the church. She was also a member of the Alter and Rosary society. Dot was born and raised in Lewiston. She graduated from Lewiston Porter School and during WWII moved to Washington DC where she worked in defense department writing letters to families of missing and deceased soldiers. Dot moved back to Lewiston and began work at DuPont where she met her husband Tom. She is survived by two daughters; Judith Napier (Bryan Aaker) of Minneapolis, MN, Joan (Kim) Quarantillo of Lewiston, NY and two sons; Thomas P. Dorothy M. (Marsh) Rolling died January 9, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on April 18, 1938, she was the daughter of William and MaryAnn (Vince) Marsh. Dorothy graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1956 and Mercy School of Nursing in 1959.
She worked as a nurse at St. Mary's Hospital until her retirement and then began a second career as Niagara County Historian as well as taking over the position of Town of Niagara Historian from her mother. Jerald and Dorothy shared a love of history and family genealogy, belonging to the Niagara County Genealogical Society, Town of Niagara Historical Society and she was the former vice president of the Oakwood Cemetery Board of Trustees.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Marcella) Rolling, Karyn (Richard) Morrison, Laverne Rolling, and Marjorie (Wayne) DeVantier. Grandchildren, Jerald, Patrick, Timothy, William and Marie Rolling, Sarah, Benjamin and Andrew DeVantier and cherished adoptive grandchildren, Megan Hathaway and Audrey Seekins. Sister-in-law Margaret (late Ralph) Fuller, brother-in-law's, Robert (Sherry) and Joseph (Joyce) Rolling. Aunts Julie (late Max) Fetterly, Marilyn (late Martin) and many cousins. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and dear friends. Miller passed away July 24, 2022.  Born November 7, 1964 in Lockport he was the son of Richard “Grubby” and Katherine “Kay” (Grottanelli) Miller.  Doug worked for Tops Grocery Store in Medina for eleven years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, camping, horseshoes, fireworks, and football being a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. 
Douglas is survived by his wife of 33 years Jacquelynn (McGraw) Miller; children Darlynn (JR) Miller, Devan Sue Miller, and Douglas “Dougie” Miller; grandchildren Emma Jean Andrews, Thomas “Tommy” Andrews, and Robert “Bobbo” Howitt;  loyal pup, Buster; brother Richard (Linda) Miller; in-laws Albert & Grace McGraw, Andrew McGraw, and Heidi (Eric) Siefert; also several nieces and nephews.

Douglas M. Taylor, age 83 of the Town of Cambria, NY died Thursday June 9, 2022, in the Harris Hill Nursing Facility, Williamsville, NY. Doug was born August 4, 1938, in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Louis and Dorothy Taylor. He was a 1956 graduate of LaSalle High School. Doug married Mary Louise Gombert on March 28, 1959, and resided in the Town of Cambria since 1960. He served in the US Army Reserves. He served his community as a volunteer fireman and EMT with the Cambria Volunteer Fire Company. He retired from Harrison Radiator where he worked as a millwright and skilled trades group leader. Doug was a long-time member of the Lockport YMCA. He played softball as a hobby and played for many teams for years. He was a devoted loving husband for 56 years to his wife Mary who predeceased him. He enjoyed gardening and reading. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Duane J. Behm passed away October 7, 2019 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born October 5, 1941 in Lockport he was the son of Elton and Virginia (Werth) Behm.  Duane served in the National Guard from 1964 to 1970 and worked at Harrison Radiator Division of GM as a Supervisor in the Metallurgy and Chemical Laboratory for 36 years retiring in 1998.  He was a member of the Jaycee’s serving as chairman of the Lockport Satellite for 22 years and was chairman of the Children’s Hospital Telethon.  Duane enjoyed hunting and woodworking.
Duane is survived by his wife Sharon (Felton) Behm; sons Darrin (Michelle) Behm and Eric(Anita) Behm; grandfather of Russell and Connor Behm and was the brother of Beverly (James) Penland, Lowell (Wenda) and the late Douglas Behm.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Durwood was born on December 16, 1928 in the Town of Cambria, NY. He is the son of the late Howard A. and the late Florence M. (Koller) Rohring. He married Audrey A. Rohring on April 22, 1950. He was employed by GM/Harrison Radiator as Line Operator retiring after 30 plus years. Durwood enjoyed trips to the casino, he was a member of the UAW travel club and was an active hunter in his younger days. Durwood and Audrey were members of St. Peter Lutheran Church at North Ridge for many years. Edwin C. Tucker, 87,  passed away June 22, 2022.  Born July 8, 1934 in Lockport he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Zapp) Tucker.  Edwin served in the US Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and worked in sales in the industrial supply business for most of his life.  He was married to the love of his life, Rosalie, for 68 years, and still referred to her as his bride when speaking of her.  He loved spending time with his family, and he loved aviation, always checking out the planes that flew over his house.
In addition to his wife Rosalie (Galbo) Tucker; he is also survived by his children Michael (Kathy) Tucker and Shirley (Tony) Weiland; grandchildren Lisa (Neil) Stafford, Jennifer Tucker, Michelle (Matt) Ferree, Michael (Hayley) Tucker, Anthony (Amanda) Weiland, and Jacob Weiland; and his 12 Great Grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sister Audrey Schotz, sister-in-law, Clara Galbo, and many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers, William and Eugene Tucker.

Eleanor D. Bayne, age 94 of Ransomville NY, died Friday October 19, 2018 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a long illness.
 
Eleanor was born April 28.1924 in Flint, MI, the daughter of the late Richard and Gertrude (Danzinger) Doty and was raised in Niagara Falls. She was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School and had attended the University of Buffalo. On August 29, 1949 she married Justin A. Bayne who predeceased her on May 19, 2000. Eleanor had worked as a secretary for Moore Business Forms in Niagara Falls and Dover, NH. She retired at age 65 from Emerson Electric on Grand Island.
 
Eleanor was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church. She was a member and past President of the Lake Ontario Post #313 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary as well as a member of he Lewiston Seniors and a Volunteer at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital.
 
She is survived by her son, Rick (Joann) Bayne; her grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Bayne; a sister in law, Isabelle Doty; a niece, Dr. Stacey Doty, DVM; and two nephews, Justin (Sue) and Thomas "Tag" (Heather) Genter. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Doty; a niece, Ray Ann Genter; a nephew, Robert Doty, Jr; and a sister in law, Vernette Genter.

St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born in Lockport on March 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Jeanette Lingle.  Eleanor enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.  She is predeceased by her husband, John E. Berndt, who passed away on August 2, 1999.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Scott (Jasmine) Berndt, Cathy (Dale) Cummings, Paula (Brad) Clack Halford, Wendy Disparti, Michael Clack and the late Susan Morello.  She is also survived by several, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Beside her husband and daughter, Eleanor was also predeceased by two brothers, Orville and James Lingel.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert and infant son Robbie, as well as her four siblings: Marcia Porter; Mary (John) Forsyth; Frank (Lucielle) Britt; and William (Diane) Britt. Betty graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1952 and Sisters of Charity Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She worked at St. Clare Manor in Lockport for 24 years. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, gardening, and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Betty enjoyed talking about growing up on her family's farm in Newfane and attending the one-room school next door. Herm was born on September 30, 1934 in Niagara Falls, NY, he is the son of the late Elmer G. and the late Margarita M. (Liersch) Wilcox. Herm was a graduate of Lasalle Sr. High School, Norwich University and U.B Dental School. He married Sharon Walters on December 19, 1959 in Buffalo, NY. He served in the United States Army Dental Corps. from 1960 to 1962 attaining the rank of Captain. Herm was a self-employed dentist who built and ran his practice out of his home office in Lewiston for 37 years. Starting at a young age Herm had a thirst for activity and excitement. He enjoyed golf, tennis, sailing, water and snow skiing, reading and pheasant hunting. Herm enjoyed fishing and boating with his “mates”, a term of endearment used within the family to describe his boating crew. The perpetually active and artistic man tied his own fishing flies as well as designed and built a cottage in Ontario, Canada. Herm was an excellent chef; his famous clam chowder was a treat the family looked forward to each Christmas Eve. Herm had a passion for oil and watercolor painting leaving behind countless artworks for future generations to appreciate his talents. He was also a jewelry maker. His first creation was a wedding ring for his beloved wife. He also made a gold ring for each of his daughters and granddaughter on their 16th birthdays. Herm excelled in athletics playing football and baseball at the collegiate level as well as for the U.S Army Dental Corps. As an avid car enthusiast Herm restored a 1957 AC Bristol British sports racing car.Herm was a member of several organizations including: UB Dental Alumni Association, the Youngstown Yacht Club, Historical Association of Lewiston, the Lewiston Council on Arts, and a past member of the Niagara Falls Country Club and Ducks Unlimited.Surviving is his wife Sharon; his children Julie Villoni of Conneaut, OH, Catherine (Chris) Siler of Raleigh, NC and Heather Donovan of Lewiston; his grandchildren who called him “Papa” Jason, Pete, Nick (Katie) and Pat Alessi, Anne and Sam Siler and Liam Donovan and great grandchild Alexis Alessi.No Prior Visitation. Esther M. Traver, age 95, of Lewiston died on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Mrs. Traver was born on January 6, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Matthew and the late Gertrude (Zulke) Forknall. Esther graduated from LaSalle H.S class of 1945. She married Eugene Traver on April 30, 1947, he predeceased her in 1992. She was employed by Hibbard's Cleaners in Lewiston for many years as a clerk , she also worked at Stines pharmacy and Coulsen’s Pharmacy. She was a former member of the Lutheran Church of The Messiah in Lewiston; also a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lewiston Lodge #584; a former Girl Scout Leader in Lewiston; a former member and Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Lewiston Volunteer Fire Co. # 1. One of Esther’s greatest joys was making Christmas cookies for her family.Surviving is her children; Paul (Linda) Traver, Claudia (Michael) Sebring, Jeanne (Ralph) McCormick; her sister Betty Stirling, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. 1885 Obituary of Esther Nancy Hardison
On January 20, 2021, Esther Nancy Bradley Hardison passed away peacefully at home in the care of her family and of Niagara Hospice. She was 94. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Theda Bradley. Esther lived her whole life in Ransomville, New York, beginning with having been born on Halloween day, 1926, on the Bradley farm. She worked along with her parents and siblings raising and selling a great variety of fruits and vegetables. Esther was an excellent student and loved to read and was even spelling bee champion of her class one year. She graduated from Wilson High School at the age of 16 in 1942. She was a frequent patron of the Ransomville library, and often traded books with her sister Millie in their adult years.After high school, Esther continued to work on the Bradley farm, and also worked for a few years at Carborundum in Lockport. Esther married Denton Edson Hardison on January 18, 1951 at the Porter Center United Methodist Church, shortly before Denton was enlisted in the Air Force. During his time of service, the couple moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where Esther gave birth to their first child, Jan. Soon after, the young family returned to Ransomville to move into the house which they have occupied for 65 years. Esther’s most important and longest held job was that of homemaker and mother to Jan, Brad, and Paige. While raising her three children, Esther found time to be active in community groups. She served in the Ransomville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; she was a founding member of the Ransomville Garden Club; she was a member of the Ransomville United Methodist Church; and she participated in the Kiwanis Peach Festival by serving on Peach Queen Committee and by in the Peach Shortcake tent. Esther enjoyed snowmobiling and attending social events with Denton and their friends. The Hardison family vacationed on various lakes in Ontario, Canada, where they enjoyed fishing and boating. In later years, Esther enjoyed traveling with Denton, visiting famous places throughout the United States; they also spent time in Myrtle Beach, SC. In addition to reading, Esther enjoyed watching “The Wheel of Fortune”; listening to Swing and Vocal Jazz music. In later years, she enjoyed birdwatching and looking out the picture window. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving children, son Bradley and daughter Paige, grandsons Evan and Ian Hardison; sister Mildred “Millie” (late Robert) Hillman; numerous nieces and nephews; and many good neighbors and friends that she had made over her long life. Esther was pre-deceased by her oldest daughter Jan Hardison; her husband of nearly 65 years, Denton Hardison; brothers Loren Bradley; Miles (late Viola) Bradley; and Harvey (late Jean) Bradley; sisters Marion (late Seward) Shippy; Dora (late Jim) Chestnut; and Nettie (late Grant) Martin; brother-in-law Gerald (late Marion) Hardison and sister-in-law Joyce Campbell (late Roy, Sr.) Just 2 days before Esther passed, she remembered what would have been Denton and Esther's 70th wedding anniversary on January 18th.Services will be privately held with her family. Evan John Shugats, entered into rest on July 19, 2021. Born March 3, 1990, he was the very loved son of Carol (Paul) Fournier and John (Mary-Jo) Shugats. His sister Heather (Brett) Rhinehart adored him, as did his nieces, Taylor, Sydney, and Bella; and nephews, Peyton and Reggie. Evan was the stepbrother of Joshua (Hiesha) Pinkston and Katherine Pinkston. The beloved grandson of Helen Zimmerman and the late Fred Zimmerman, and the late Joseph and Rosemary Shugats, he also leaves behind many dear aunts and uncles. Evan cherished all of his cousins who he had very close relationships with.
Evan was a graduate of Medialle College with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and was employed by Buffalo Fuel Corporation. He was an avid Bills fan who enjoyed hockey and Nascar and always rooted for Kevin Harvick. Evan was at a point in his life where he finally felt happy with all the great things he had going on, and part of that was his girlfriend Kendra Wind, who he loved so much. 
Evan will be remembered as an extremely kind and loving person who adored his family and friends. He was loved by so many people who will miss him forever. In honor of Evan, wear your Bills gear when you come to call.

1890 Obituary of Everett Fitchlee

Everett A. Fitchlee was taken home by the Lord on Saturday September 25, 2021, to be with his beloved wife Ruth and son Gary.  He was predeceased by Gary on February 1, 2008 and Ruth on October 6, 2009.
He was born September 20, 1923 to Victor A. and Beatrice (Holmes) Fitchlee, in the Town of Royalton.  Everett attended the County School in Royalton Center and was in the Lockport High School Class of 1942.
Everett married Ruth Behm on December 7, 1946 in Trinity Lutheran Church in Lockport and they had three children; Leonard, Gary and Nancy.
He went into the Army Air Force in March 1943, AirCraft Mechanics School at Curtiss Wright in California and Gunnery School in Nevada.  He then joined a crew as Engineer for flight training on a Boeing B17 bomber in Rapid City, South Dakota.  In September 1944, he joined the 390th Bomber Group of the 8th Air Force in Framlingham, England where he flew 30 missions over Germany and Europe.  He received the Purple Heart Medal, Air Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, the 8th Air Force Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
After World War II ended in May 1945, he returned home and was later discharged as a T/Sergeant in September 1945.  He took a tool and die apprenticeship at Harrison Radiator Division of General Motors and then advanced to a Senior Tool Designer.  He retired in 1982 after 36 years with Harrison’s.  After retirement Everett and Ruth enjoyed wintering in Florida.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, The Tuscarora Club, Elks Club, Moose Club, Clinton Club and American Legion. He lived his entire life in the Lockport Area.
He is survived by his son Leonard (Margie) Fitchlee of Middleport and daughter Nancy (Dean) Warner of Richmond, VA.; also 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed bowling, golf, hunting and fishing, playing cards, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

Middleport: Floyd A. Beyer, age 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 27, 2021. He was born September 26, 1941 in Lockport to the late Floyd and Thelma (Buccue) Beyer.
Floyd worked as an Electrician for 37 ½ years for the NYS Thruway Authority and was a Junior member of the Wilson Conservation Club for over 50 years. Floyd enjoyed collecting toy tractors and going to toy shows and farm shows. He was an avid hunter as well.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Bev (late Dick), Cornelius, Don, and Sharon Williams.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Helen, children, Doug (Tania), Deb (Rob), Duane (Erin), 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Barbara Beyer, brother-in-law, Richard Williams, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Francine J. Barry, age 98 of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Saturday November 18, 2017 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.
Francine was born March 19, 1919 in Deep River, MI, the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Kwolek) Baron. As a young woman, she was a professional dancer and circus performer. Francine was a Hostess at the former John's Flaming Hearth in Niagara Falls for over 20 years. On January 9, 1983 she married Dr. Raymond S. Barry, Jr. He predeceased her in 2003. Francine was a communicant of St. Peter, s RC Church in Lewiston.
She is survived by her nieces, Linda Jacobs and Joanne Baron as well as several other nieces and nephews; her caregivers, Sandy and Leroy Myrtle; and her beloved German shepherd, Orona. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 24, at Holy Angels Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Frank entered the United States Marines on November 14, 1951 and was honorably discharged as a PFC on November 7, 1952. After serving his country he began working on the family farm and eventually at GrowMark. After retiring from working, he enjoyed farming, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Miosga) Mietlicki; four children, Michele (Stephano) Pellicano, Connie (Mark) Crane, Richard J. Mietlicki and Frank J. Meisenburg passed away February 10, 2019 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.  Born December 29, 1944 in Buffalo, he was the son of Franklin and Ruth (Popp) Meisenburg.  Franklin served un the US Navy and worked for Harrison Radiator Div of GM where he was a maintenance-technician for 33 years retiring in 1998.  He enjoyed milling, was an avid military collector, and deer hunting.

Frederick C. Duchow Sr. passed away on Saturday September 19, 2020 at Elderwood of Lockport.  Born in Lockport on August 7, 1938, he was the son of the late Edward and Viola Ackerman Duchow.  Frederick served in the Army National Guard from 1961 until 1964.  He retired from Harrison Radiator in 1999 after working for 47 years, when he retired he was a Tool & Die Inspector.  Frederick was a member of the Eagles and the UAW, he enjoyed auto racing, creative crafting and loved doing Geneology and spending time with his family.  He is predeceased by his wife Mary Duchow, who passed away April 28, 2018.

Frederick Eugene Zimmerman, a longtime resident of Lockport New York, passed away Friday June 18, 2021, at his home with his loving family by his side.
Born on December 10, 1922 of the late Clarence and Mabel (James) Zimmerman.  Frederick grew up on a farm in Cambria, New York.  He attended Lockport High School.  He joined the United States Army, serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater, receiving several medals for his valor and service.
Following his honorable discharge in 1946, Frederick worked for Hollywood Candy Company traveling the East Coast.  During this time, he met his loving wife of 70 years.  Frederick then attended Bryant and Stratton Business School. Following his graduation, he joined his father in the family business.  In 1958, he and his brother took over Zimmie’s Tire Service.  After 30 years of working Frederick retired, spending winters in Central Florida.  He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Frederick was a former member of the Red Jacket Lodge 646.
Frederick is survived by his wife Helen (Greth) of Lockport NY, daughters Joan Rukowicz (Richard) of Fallston, MD and Carol Fournier (Paul) of Lockport, NY, and son Doug Zimmerman of Lockport, NY; nine grandchildren, Christin Pasquinelli (Paul), Lauren Wilde (Chris), Stefan Rukowicz (Stephanie), Erik Zimmerman (Shannan), Heather Rhinehart (Brett), Jamie Johnston (Chris), Marissa Chandler (Ryan), Justin Zimmerman (Jocelyn) and Evan Shugats; and 19 great grandchildren.
There will be no prior visitation.  A Funeral Service will be held Monday June 21st at 11 AM in First Presbyterian Church, 21 Church Street, Lockport.  Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.  The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials take the form of donations to the Niagara Hospice, Inc. 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport NY 14094-1231.

Frederick S. Spinder, Sr. passed away December 24, 2019 in Absolut Care of Gasport. Born July 20, 1935 in Buffalo he was the son of Stanley Spinder and Ceil (Malchrzak) Moodie. Fred worked for Arcada Graphics in Depew where he was a machinist. He enjoyed sports, playing cards, and was very social at “AJ’s”.Fred is survived by his wife Carol (Kowalewski) Spinder; children Rose Knop, Toni Uncapher, and Fred (Pam) Spinder, Jr.; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; siblings Daniel Spinder and Karen Herb; several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends may call Saturday, Jan. 4th from 2-5 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
