2202 Obituary of Ronnie Anderluh
Ronnie ''Ron'' Anderluh, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Niagara Hospice House, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 25, 1945 he was the son of the late Henry W. and Angeline "Jackie" (DeSantis) Anderluh. Ron was a life-long resident of the Falls and grew up on 23rd Street. He attended local schools and graduated from Niagara University, with a history degree. Ron began his career as a stock-boy, then salesman and finally manager of Biers Department store. He was involved in management at the Rainbow Center and Summit Park malls. He was a tireless community activist and volunteer, who was heavily involved, if not the reason for numerous developments in the city such as the new Niagara Street School and revamped Gill Creek Park to name a few. He was also an active member of the Niagara Street Neighborhood Revitalization Organization, Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Niagara business group. He is survived by his nephew, Robert (Kelly) Behrens; niece, Shelly (Jack) Shipman; great-nephew, James (Lindsay) Blasko; great-great-nephews, Cory and Patrick Blasko; best friends, Jimmy (Kathy) Cancemi and Craig Avery; and many, many other friends and colleagues. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Carol Behrens. Ron's family and friends would like to send a heartfelt Thank You, to the staff at Niagara Hospice House for the loving care Ron received.

2203 Obituary of Rosemary Miller

Rosemary M. Miller passed away November 24, 2021 under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born December 8, 1931 in Lockport she was the daughter of Wallace and Mary Anna (Monkelbaan) Moje.  Rosemary was a beloved member of the Newfane Historical Society and the Niagara County Federation of Historical Societies since 1981 and was predeceased by her husband John A. Miller, Sr. in 2011.
Rosemary is survived by her children Mary Ann Miller, David Miller, Joseph (Nancy) Miller, Charles Miller, Annette Louise, Michael Miller, Theresa Evans, Clarence (Hope) Miller, Wally (Katie) Miller, Helen (Brain) Cox, Rosemary (Bruce) Garber, and the late John A. Miller, Jr., and Janet Federspiel; siblings Barbara (Jerome) Hobart, Ann (Norman) Maerten, and the late Alice Alexander, Henrietta Boulton, and Robert Moje; also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.
Rosemary was very proud of and leaves behind a legacy of thirty-five grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

2204 Obituary of Roswald K. Trippensee

Roswald K. Trippensee passed away September 21, 2021 in Elderwood at Lockport.  Born December 30, 1930 in Buffalo he was the son of Harold and Lula (Winchell) Trippensee.  Roswald was a farmer owning and operating Trippensee Farms in Middleport.  He enjoyed playing BINGO and the staff at Elderwood, going to the North Tonawanda City Market, was one of the first vendors at the Super Flea Market on Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga, and enjoyed spending time with his children especially his grandchildren.
Roswald is survived by his children Steven (Jenn) Trippensee, Lisa (Gregg Jackson) Trippensee, and Jason Trippensee; grandchildren Bailey, Autumn, and Brody; sister-in-law Roberta Trippensee; wife Donna (Cooper) Trippensee; several nieces and nephews; predeceased by siblings Elaine Trippensee, Maxine Trippensee, and Royce Trippensee.

2205 Obituary of Roxanne Murphy

Roxanne Elizabeth Murphy passed away on Friday July 13, 2018.  Born in Lockport on March 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marjorie Trude Simmons Sr.  Roxanne graduated from NCCC with an Associates Degree in Nursing and worked at Briarwood Manor for 34 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She was a member of All Saints RC Parish, where she was a Eucharistic Minister.  Roxanne enjoyed drinking coffee, feeding the birds and visiting with friends and family. 
 
Roxanne is survived by her husband of 45 years, Joseph Murphy.  She was the mother of Mellissa Murphy and the late Jason Murphy; grandmother of Andrew Murphy.  Roxanne was the sister of Robert “Buster” (Teresa) Simmons Jr., Curt (Tina) Simmons and the late Kim Brodsky and Tina Jordan.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Roy A. Fry passed away Friday January 22, 2021 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Lockport on September 30, 1935, he was the son of the late Burt and Laura Lederhouse Fry. He was drafted into The US Army, during the Korean War. Roy owned and operated the Owl Inn in Rapids from 1956 until 1996. He was a member of the Rapids Volunteer Fire Co. Exempts, the Redmen Club and the Navy/Marine Club. Roy enjoyed playing cards especially Euchre, watching the NY Yankees and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Douglas (Esther Smith) Fry, Debra (Bob Hoehman) McDonald, Kevin (Linda) Fry, Susan (Scott) Killion and Daniel Fry; grandfather of Mindee (Stan), Meghan, Danica (Dan), Anna, Cort, Rachael, Chelsea, Melanie, Travis, Summer, Jennifer, Savannah, Daniel Jr., Haley. and great grandfather of 8. He is also survived by his former wife, Mary Ann (Rankie) Fry. Roy J. Bucolo passed away March 27, 2020 in Elderwood at Lockport. Born November 14, 1937 in Lockport he was the son of Tindaro and Prudence (Amato) Bucolo. Roy proudly served in the National Guard and worked for Harrison Radiator for 30 years where he was a tow motor operator. 2208 Obituary of Roy Roger Schumacher

Roy Roger Schumacher of Brockport, formerly of Gasport, age 78, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 7, 2021. He was born May 18, 1943 in Hume, NY to the late Henry and Pearl (Morgan) Schumacher.
Roy was proud to have visited all 50 States with his wife Carolyn. Together they enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, and camping. Roy was a family man who adored his grandchildren dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Judy (Earl) Weaver, Robert, Duane, grandson Roger, fathers-in-law, Helmuth Remus and Peter Austin, and sister-in-law, Barbara (Jerry) Donaldson.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn, children, Roy Jason (Angela), Alison (Terry) Schleede, Carl (Beth), Brian (Jessica), 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, siblings, Allan, Paul (Linda), sister-in-law, Jane Schumacher, mother-in-law, Alice Remus, brothers-in-law, Robert (Maurean) Austin, David (Cindy) Remus, Richard (Barbara) Remus, sister-in-law, Valorie (Tony) Ellis, aunt, Linda Boyatzies, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Medina/Middleport:  Ruth F. Harold, 103, passed away at Medina Memorial Hospital North Wing April 25, 2021.  She was born February 13, 1918 in Wolcottsville a daughter of the late Rudolph and Rose (Handrich) Frisch.  Ruth had lived all of her life in the Middleport, Medina, Wolcottsville areas.  She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Wolcottsville and loved knitting, shopping and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Robert Clark and Walter Harold; sisters, Edna Cummings, Gertrude Fissler, Alma Smith, Lydia Eick, Thelma Dunn, Minnie Noviak and Nora Frisch.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Sargent of SC., Kent (Linda) Clark of Alabama and Karen (Ronald) Matusak of Middleport; 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St. Middleport on Friday April 30, from 3:00-5:00 followed by her funeral service at 5:00pm.  A private graveside service will be held at Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery.

Sally K. McAninch passed away July 17, 2021 in Niagara Hospice House.  Born September 4, 1940 in Cambria, the daughter of John and Lorraine (Schuler) Devereaux.  Sally and her late husband Ron owned and operated the Corner Inn Tavern in Lockport and The Hillside Inn in Cambria. Sally loved being with her family, being outdoors, gardening, and playing Yahtzee while drinking coffee and watching the birds in her yard.  She also enjoyed playing euchre. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ronald E. McAninch in 2000 and son Ronald (Bug) McAninch in 2014.
Sally is survived by her daughters Sally Lemley, Paula (late David) Moore, Lori McAninch, and Tamara McAninch; grandchildren Eric, Leanna (John), Sean (Tammy), David Jr., Anthony (Danielle), Joseph, Aaron, Yvonne (James), Ashley (John), and Terry, twenty-five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and sister Jean Frost, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jacqueline Spedding, Ronald Devereaux, John Paul Devereaux, Carol Quintana, and Annie Speer.

Salvatore J. D’Agostino passed away on August 6, 2021. Sam as he was affectionately known was born on March 13, 1929 in Lockport, New York a son of Michael D’Agostino and Theresa (Leone) D’Agostino.
Sam proudly served our country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army where he was a master cook. He was a Supervisor in the Suggestion Department at Harrison Radiator in Lockport where he worked for 40 years. He was on the loan committee at Cornerstone Federal Credit Union, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and The Holy Name Society of All Saints Parish. Sam was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather and loved spending time with his family.
Sam was predeceased by his beloved wife  Rachel (Gnagnarelli) D’Agostino on August 3, 2018; son Michael D’Agostino; siblings Filomena Larocco and Annie Sy. He is survived by his children Samuel D’Agostino, Anna Marie Pera, Terri (Anthony) Scrivano and daughter inlaw, Kathleen (D'Agostino) Wilson; several grandchildren, great grandchildren.  Salvatore is also survived by his sisters Antoinette Gugliuzza and Josephine Cutter and several nieces and nephews.

Sandra G. Stevens, age 81, of Lewiston and wife of David P. Stevens departed this earth and now is in the arms of Jesus after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Sandra was born April 26, 1939 in Niagara Falls, NY. She is the daughter of the late Howard ( late Anne Ogden Gibson) and the late Dorothy (Broderick) Gibson. Sandra attended Stella Niagara Boarding School at age 10 after the death of her mother and went on to attend Lew-Port Central Schools. She married David P. Stevens on April 26, 1997. Sandra was employed by U.S Senator Stafford in Washington D.C as a Legal Aide for 16 years, then later worked for Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Messiah; the Lewiston Women's Service Guild and also the Niagara Frontier County Club where she recorded 2 holes in one. Sandra was the most loving, caring, and generous person.She is survived by her husband; David, her sons, Michael, Ted (Diana) and Chris Mehl all of Annapolis, MD; step son, Peter Stevens of Lockport, NY; step daughter, Elizabeth Stevens of the Town of Niagara, NY; three brothers; Eric Gibson of Chicago, Kurt Gibson of NYC and Mark Gibson of NYC and brother in law, Robert C. Sandra J. Stahl passed away on Saturday May 11, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo.  Born in Lockport on January 27, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Norma Christie Stahl.  Sandra was a social worker for Niagara County Child Protective Services for 38 years and retired in 2015 as a B Supervisor of the Department.  She devoted her life to the children she helped throughout the years and took great satisfaction in her work.  She also enjoyed ceramics and crocheting, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her sister Deborah (Jeffery) Say and brother, William Stahl;  she is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Charles (Alexandra) Murr, Jeremy (Michaela) Stahl, Corrie (Nathaniel) Paine and the late Adam Murr and great aunt of Elliott Paine and Charleigh Murr.  She was the niece of Sally (Thomas) Wittlinger, Robert (late Sally Rae) Christie and the late Audrey (late Jay) Roszman, late David (Gloria) Christie and late Gary (Joy) Christie.  She is also survived by several cousins.

Scott A. MacFarlane 53, of Lewiston, NY husband of Jennifer (Sroczyk) MacFarlane died Monday May 6, 2019 in South Buffalo Mercy Hospital.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 20, 1965 he was the son of the late Robert A. and the late Ann B. (Boswell) MacFarlane. Scott graduated from Lew-Port High School in 1983 and later attended NCCC. He  married Jennifer Sroczyk on October 21 , 1994. Scott was the  owner and operator of Alexander Electric where he was a self-employed electrician. He played in several local area bands for many years and loved model trains, classic cars and gardening.
 
Surviving is his wife; Jennifer; a son Greg MacFarlane and a daughter Sarah MacFarlane; his sister Amy (Ronald) Pieroni of Cheektowaga, NY and a brother Robert A. MacFarlane of Niagara Falls, NY.
 
Friends may call FRIDAY (MAY 10) from 3-5 PM. at the Lewiston Fire Co. # 1, 145 N. 6th St., Lewiston, NY, a memorial service will be held immediately following at 5:00 pm.

Sean W. Irving passed away April 1, 2021.  Born August 27, 1964 in Frederick, Maryland he is the son of William and Patricia (Doyle) Irving.  Sean served in the US Army from 1983 to 1985 being awarded the Army Service Ribbon and the Sharpshooter  Qualification Badge.  He was a master electrician owning Irving Electrical in Lockport.  He loved his work and did it very well.  Sean enjoyed camping and fishing.

Sherry was very artistic, loved to draw and garden. She is survived by two children, Joey and Nicole Castagner; three sisters, her twin Gerry Pardee, Trish Robins, and Deanna "Dee Dee" (Michael) Barone; her stepmother, Sandra Maslen; six grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Shirley graduated from the Youngstown Red Brick School in 1951. She and Richard were married on November 29, 1952. Richard predeceased her on August 18, 2018. Shirley worked as a clerk for McCrory's Store in Lewiston for 15 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed trips to the casino, wintering in Las Vegas, NV., fishing and spending time at their camp in Caneadea, NY. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren. Shirley Irene (Amsdill) ZastrowShirley Irene Zastrow, age 90, of Youngstown, NY, was called to her heavenly home on April 23, 2022. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on October 12, 1931, she was the daughter of William “Bill” Amsdill and Dorothy (Maynard) Amsdill. Shirley was a 1948 graduate from Youngstown High School, and a valedictorian graduate from Kelley Business Institute. Her first job (1950) was as a secretary at the Warder Motors Packard Agency in Niagara Falls; and in 1952 as secretary at Bell Aircraft Corporation. She was the Village Clerk for the Village of Youngstown in 1963 – 1966. In 1966, Shirley was hired as a secretary at Lewiston-Porter Central School, retiring in 2000.In 1952, she married Glenwood Zastrow, who predeceased her in 1998. Shirley is survived by her sons, William (June Lancraft) Zastrow; Stephen (Tania Dornan) Zastrow of Youngstown, NY; and John (Marisa Grant) of Cumberland, Maine; and grandchildren Addison (Aster) Marie, Tyler Xavier, and Griffin Glenwood. She is also survived by her niece Gayle (Owens) DiRienzo; her nephew, John Owens and other cousins and extended family members. Over the years, Shirley served as president of the Lewiston-Porter United Educational Employees Union; Sunday School teacher for 47 years; Adult Bible Class teacher; member of St. John Lutheran Church since 1957; member of Youngstown Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; volunteer at Summit Life Outreach Center; LaSalle Lutheran Aid Thrift Shop; and organizer of the Lewiston-Porter Retirees Association. Shirley’s life centered around her family, her friends, and her faith in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. She enjoyed reading, exercising, baking, and activities with her friends.There will be no prior visitation. Shirley (Behm) Beane passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Elderwood Health Care Facility in Lockport.  Shirley was born on May 29, 1940 in Lockport, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Behm and the late Chris Behm.  She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Beane, daughter Kayla, and siblings and their spouses Mary (Bud) Prunty, Phyllis (Ed) Lute, and Jack (Anne) Behm.
Shirley is survived by her loving children Mary Beth Beane and Patty Beane; loving grandchildren Jordan Cunningham and Brianna Beane; sisters-in-law Rose Ann Coffelt and Charlotte Hamrick; brother-in-law Jim Beane; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her “mom” Janet Riffle.
Shirley loved to cook, bake, garden, and watch her birds.  She loved to knit and crochet and over the years donated hat and mitten sets to area organizations.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family.

Stanley S. Alex died peacefully at his home in Lewiston, NY at the age of 77, on Sunday October 14th, 2018. He was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY to Stanley and Stella Alex. He graduated from LaSalle HS (1959), received a BS degree with honors from SUNY Fredonia (1962) and a MS in Administration from SUNY College at Buffalo (1970).
Stan taught in the Niagara Falls school district for 33 years, most of which were with the gifted and talented students. He was a master teacher, the first mentor in the school district and was the JV wrestling coach for several years. He was well respected and loved by his students, many of which kept in touch after graduation.
Stan is survived by his wife Sally (57 years); his two sons, Steve (Mary) and Scott (Carol); three grandchildren, Ben, Eric and Abby; and brother of Doreen Murtaugh (Jack). Stan was a wonderful father who dedicated his heart and everything he did throughout his life to his family. He instilled a love for the outdoors; hunting, boating, camping, fishing, and skiing.
Stan was an avid skier and a dedicated volunteer with the National Ski Patrol for 45 years (Bluemont, Tamarack, Kissing Bridge, and the Buffalo Ski Club). He was a patrol leader for several years and also served as an instructor of Outdoor Emergency Care and an instructor trainer of many patrollers in the Western New York region. Additionally, Stan volunteered at the American Red Cross teaching CPR for many groups at fitness centers, schools and the ski patrol.
He was a runner for many years and entered many races. His greatest enjoyment was running along the Niagara gorge. Stan studied Tae Kwon Do and received his brown belt. He was an avid golfer from high school through his retirement years. Stan was an instructor for the First Tee program at Hyde Park golf course in Niagara Falls, NY. More recently, he was a member of Niagara Frontier Country Club. He was a member of the 3-F Club, American Legion, and the Lower Niagara Moose Lodge. Stan will be remembered by his outgoing personality and sense of humor.

Stella M. Wrobel, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Schoellkopf Health Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on September 24, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Viola (Bukowski) Wrobel. Stella was a teacher with the Niagara Falls Board of Education for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her sister, Albina (late Joseph) Murawski. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Peter (Mary) Wrobel and Chester (Stella) Wrobel and sister, Florence J. Wrobel.

Stephen Thomas Kunkel entered into rest on January 25, 2021, in the VA Medical Center, Batavia. Born June 2, 1950, he was the son of Leo and Stella (Skrok) Kunkel.
Stephen was a disabled Vietnam veteran, was an avid drummer, and loved dogs, the Lord, and music.
Beloved father of Jacob (Meghan) Kunkel; cherished grandfather of Birdie Mae and Elsa; dear brother of Myrna Kunkel, Gaylord "Greg" (Judith) Kunkel, and the late Marcelene (Lawrence) Lederhouse, Rhea Wilson, Leo Kunkel, and Neil Kunkel; brother-in-law of Francis Wilson, Kathleen Kunkel, and Marlene Kunkel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great-nieces.
Graveside Services will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Cold Springs Cemetery.  Memorials to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.

Steven R. Troxell, age 68, of Cambria, husband of Janice Troxell (Nee Jordan) died Monday, August 1, 2022, at Roswell Park in Buffalo, NY. Steven was born on March 17, 1954, in Lena, IL. He is the son of Melvin Troxell and the late Elvia (Reutner) Troxell. Steven served in the U. S Army from 1972 till 1993 and served some of his tour as a Green Beret. He married Janice Jordan in April of 1981. He was graduate of Niagara University where he obtained his master’s in education going on to work for the City of Lockport School District as a social studies teacher for 20 years retiring in 2018. Steven also taught at the Niagara County Jail; he was recognized for his success with the incarcerated students.He is survived by his wife; Janice Troxell; his father Melvin Troxell; his siblings, David (Enola) Troxell, Mark (Wendy) Troxell, Paul (Kim) Troxell, Tim (Dale) Troxell, Melva (J.J) Johnson and Priscilla (Gary) Radmacher, also one niece and several nephews.Calling hours will be MONDAY, August 8th from 4-7 PM. at Hardison Funeral Homes Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Stuart L. Cracknell, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 8, 1943 he was the son of the late George and Helen (Wills) Cracknell. Stuart entered the United States Army on February 21, 1960, serving 2 campaigns in Vietnam. For his service he received the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (1 OLC), Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal (6th AWD), National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal (2 Campaigns), Vietnam Campaign Medal, Drill Sergeant Identification Badge, Driver's Badge, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry W/Palm, Expert (Rifle). He was honorably discharged as an MSG (ret) on June 30, 1981, serving 21 years. After serving his country he began working as a teacher at Niagara County Community College. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and enjoyed going camping and to the casino.He is survived by his sons, Gerald J. (Shannon) Cracknell Sr., Stuart L. (Lori) Cracknell Jr., Dino L. Cracknell and Cody L. Lloyd and the late Hazel (Bradley) Harbison. She graduated from Wilson CSD class of 1950. She was lastly employed by Beutel Greenhouses as a laborer doing greenhouse transplanting. Middleport: Susan A. Bruning, age 82, died December 21, 2019 in Medina Memorial Hospital-North Wing following a long illness. She was born January 22, 1937 in the Town of Royalton to Walter and Alice (Reabolt) Bruning and was a lifelong resident of this area. Susan attended Morrisville College in 1957 where she obtained her license as an RN. She worked as an RN for Medina Hospital for 33 years, at BOCES for 3 years and at Genesee Memorial for 5 years prior to retiring in 1995. Susan was an avid traveler and had visited many places including several National Parks, and the states of HI, and FL. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and was Past President of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. She also was a member of the Royalton Historical Society, and the Middleport Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading inspirational books, books on animals, making crafts and tending to flowers. While she was a great cat lover, she also enjoyed dogs as well. Miss Bruning was predeceased by her brothers: Duane and Clayton Bruning, and a nephew: Howard Bruning. She is survived by her sisters: Anita (Late Paul) Markham of MI, Jean Bruning of Middleport, her brothers: Fay (Karen) Bruning of FL, Rev. Alton (Margaret) Bruning of VA, sister-in-law: Janet Bruning of Lockport as well as several generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 133 Telegraph Rd.-Middleport, SATURDAY December 28th from 11am-12pm where her Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon immediately following visitation. She married Loren Balcom in 1947, he predeceased her in 1999.Sybil was employed in many other different positions including as a substitute aid at Lew-Port Schools. She also worked as a senior companion, also as a private secretary for Assemblyman Sumner Carroll. Sybil enjoyed traveling, playing cards, gardening, volunteering at ArtPark, she was an avid walker, also a Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan.She is survived by four sons Kevin (Diane) Balcom of Youngstown, Robin S. Balcom of Corning, NY, Loren (Barbara) Balcom of Franklinville and Daryl (Lisa) Balcom of Silvercreek; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time in Virginia, loved horses but her happiest times were when she was spending time with her family and friends. Tamara S. “Tammy” Fisher 58 of Ransomville, NY wife of Stephano J. Fisher entered into rest at home on Saturday December 29, 2018.
Born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 14, 1960 she was the daughter of the late William and the late June Benzino Carroll. Tammy attended and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School, she married Stephano J. Fisher on September 28, 1991. Tammy was a great cook, a loving wife to her husband and a great mother to her children. She enjoyed designing and producing her own clothing.
 
Surviving is her husband; Stephano; three sons Austin Fisher, Tyler Fisher and Brandon Fisher;
her three sisters Deena (Pedro) Garcia, Bonnie Sykes and Debbie Betrand; a brother William (Jane) Carroll and a twin brother Tim (Andrea) Carroll. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 25, 1948 he was the son of the late Janson and the late Mildred (Holtz) Grace. Terry graduated from Wilson Central school in 1966 and went on to attend Bryant and Stratton College for 1 year. He married Laurie Herget on June 7, 1969. Terry Worked at Bell Test Center in the 1970’s and then became self employed as a tile setter from 1974 till 1990 when he retired to start traveling. He lived in Ransomville until 1969 then moving to Youngstown where they Currently reside, he also lived part time in Chicago, Florida and Henderson, NV. Terry loved sports and traveling, baseball was his passion. He coached Women’s softball for the Shanty and Johnston’s restaurant’s for many years
 
Surviving is his wife Laurie; his sisters Donna (Jerry) Anslow and Denneen Grace; brothers Michael Grace and Keith (Nancy) Grace all of California; his sister in law’s, Gail Holstrom of Ransomville, Linda (Paul) Hiddie of Clarence Center and Marjorie Manning of Cattaraugus. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews in New York, California, Kentucky, Oregon and New Mexico. Terry is predeceased by a brother James Grace

Thelma McIntosh Walker, 77, of Lockport, NY, died Saturday, May 18, 2019, at Saranac Village at Will Rogers in Saranac Lake, NY, where she had resided for the past year.
Born in Lockport on November 18, 1941, she was the daughter of John E. and Thelma Ulrich McIntosh.
Thelma attended Lockport Senior High School, where she was known to friends as “Mickey,” and graduated with the Class of 1959. She then enrolled in the medical office assisting program at Erie County Technical Institute, served as class secretary for two years and graduated in 1961.
Thelma raised three sons from her first marriage – Andrew, Daniel and Christopher – in Lockport. She later went back to school and studied office technology at Niagara County Community College. Thelma worked for M&T Bank for more than 25 years, serving as an executive secretary to the bank’s top administrators in Buffalo, before retiring in 2013.
On Valentine’s Day in 1991, Thelma married James Walker, who she had met while working at General Physics Corporation of Lockport. They shared 26 wonderful years together: traveling often to visit family, spending time with their grandchildren, and enjoying life at home on Walnut Street with their beloved dog, Sandy.
After Jim passed away in 2017, Thelma moved to Saranac Lake to be closer to her grandchildren. She became a fixture at their concerts, plays, dance recitals and baseball games. The kids treasured visits with their “Grammy Walker.” She also made new friends during her time at Will Rogers.
Thelma was a sweet, kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed collecting antiques, cross-stich, reading and researching her family’s history and genealogy.
Thelma is predeceased by her beloved husband, James Walker, and her brother, Douglas McIntosh. She is survived by three sons, Christopher (Kate-Lyn), Daniel and Andrew (Helene) Knight; five grandchildren, Emily, Ryan and Ethan, and Linsi and Marisa; two stepsons, Andrew (Shannon) and Brian Walker; brother, John E. (Dorothy) McIntosh; sister, Sylvia (Martin) Shaft and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 23 at LANGE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY, with a funeral service to follow at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
