John made his living as a house painter who worked side by side with his father but his true love and passion was music, Blues Music. Known to most as "Harmonica John," John was a member of a number of formidable Blues Bands, including The Buffalo King Snake Band, The Excellos and The Electras. John was one of the regular house musicians at the Imperial Garage in the 1980's that hosted several famed old time blues bands.
