Brute was a 1957 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a 1960 graduate of Bryant and Stratton Business Institute. He had been employed as District Manager for the Buffalo Courier Express for 22 years, retiring in 1982 and also for the Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado for 15 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Third Warder's Social Club and Mid City Athletic Club. He is survived by his brother, James (Ann) Zimmerman of Auborn, Maine and his brother-in- law, George (the late Bonnie) Falkiner of Orangeville, Ontario; also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Stoelting, age 77, of Bergholz, was called to his heavenly home at his residence on May 31, 2015 while under the care of his loving family and Niagara Hospice. Born May 17, 1938 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Erwin and Ruth (Stenzel) Stoelting. Wayne was the owner of Stoelting Machine, Inc. on Niagara Falls Blvd., a life long member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz where he served as a past elder, school board president and basketball coach. He was also a member of the Bergholz Fire Company for 56 years and was a past president and chief, Niagara County Fire Association, Niagara County Chief's Association, WNYVFA, FASNY, Niagara County Sheriff's Snowmobile Patrol, Wheatfield Business Association, a founding member and past president of Tri-Community Ambulance Service, Inc., and founding member of the Bergholz German Band. Hobbies and interests included fast pitch softball, bowling, gardening, and spending quality time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Karen (DeVantier) Stoelting, who were united in marriage on February 20, 1960; four children, Dennis (Diane) Stoelting, Gail (late Mark) Carrier, Laura (Steve) Rohring and Jonathan Stoelting; nine grandchildren, Christine, Hannah, Cory, Emma, Alex, Jake, Luke, Rachel and Grace; a brother, Marvin (late Phyllis) Stoelting; sister, Nancy (Leonard) Wienke; and several nieces and nephews. Born in Lockport on August 31, 1954, he was the son of Marilyn (Arendt) Annalora, late Ignatius "Ted" Annalora and step-son of Betty Annalora. Glenn was a 1973 graduate of Starpoint High School and went on to Erie Community College, earning his Tool & Dye Certificate. He was the owner of Glenn's Coins & Cards on Main Street in Lockport and also worked for over 30 years at Sherwood Division of Harsco, where he was a tool and dye maker, retiring in 2007. Glenn was a member of the Genesee County Chapter Harley Davison Club, Stamp Club of Lockport, bowling league at Allie Brandts Lane and the Hartland Conservation Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, motorcycling, camping, fishing, hunting, going to the casino, coin collecting, traveling to Las Vegas, farming, playing golf and darts, and "Weekends in the Woods". Glenn was so in love with his wife, proud of his three children, sons-in-law, granddaughter and his dachshund Ziggy. He truly enjoyed his life and believed each day should be lived to the fullest. He was a member of the LaSalle Sportsman's Club, the Athletic Club at DuPont, the County Fireman's Association, the Fireman's Association of the State of New York (FASNY) and was a life member of Frontier Fire Hall, having served for 63 years. Harvey enjoyed practical Jokes, deer hunting, fishing, boating, and golf. Mr. Mack is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Genevieve M. (Coyle) Mack, two children: Bruce W. Bonnie devoted many years of her life being a caretaker for her son throughout his illness. She enjoyed using a CB Radio with the handle "Big Gabby". Bonnie also liked pogo and meeting her friends for coffee. She also enjoyed tending to her plants and her birds. Bonnie is survived by her loving companion of thirty two years, Kenneth R. Sidney was born on November 3, 1921 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, the eldest son of Frank and Dorothy (Mason) Walton of Southampton, England. He moved to Niagara Falls, NY and attended local city schools, graduating from LaSalle High School in 1940 after earning varsity letters in track and football. He attended Colgate University on a football scholarship, but left to join the Royal Canadian Air Force as a pilot instructor, training pilots during WWII in Trent, Ontario and Battleford, Saskatchewan. He returned to graduate from Colgate in 1947. Sidney worked for DuPont for 31 years in various capacities including Safety Supervisor and Superintendent of Personnel in both Niagara Falls and Memphis, TN. He retired to Youngstown, NY where he sailed the lower Niagara River, Lake Ontario, and the St. Lawrence River on his beloved sailboat, Enchanter. Sidney was a talented woodworker and wood carver, building homes for his family in Lewiston and Youngstown and creating beautiful furniture pieces and wood carvings to furnish them. He leaves behind his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 70 years, Winifred (Wendt) Walton. Donald married Flora Eaton on December 5, 1942 and they were married for 67 years until her death on February 6, 2010. He worked for the William B. Eaton Construction Company in Lockport, NY and was a member of the Carpenters Union. Don moved to Bath, NY, three years ago after living in the Barker, NY area for over 70 years. He attended the West Somerset Baptist Church. He was a master carpenter and as one of his many projects he built his own boat which he enjoyed taking out on Lake Ontario. During his retirement years, Don took up the hobby of building nearly 30 large and very beautiful model sailing ships which he gave to family members as well as to the Barker Free Library and the Lockport Presbyterian Home. Farrell, age 100, of Lewiston, died on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was born on March 6, 1914 in Phelan, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Alexander and Harriet (Michimen) Eastman. She came to the United States with her family in 1927 and she graduated from Academy High School in Clarence, NY in 1932. She married Chester J. Farrell in 1935 and lived in Niagara Falls until they moved to Lewiston in 1941. A homemaker, Dorothy's family meant the world to her as much as her beloved First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston. She was one of the eldest members after 73 years of membership. She was very active in her younger years with dinners, teaching Sunday school and the Eastern Star. Her greatest joy was hosting many dinners and creating great memories for her family. Her husband, Chester, predeceased her on May 3, 1981. She is survived by her sons, Jerald (late Susann) Farrell of Lewiston and Jack B. (Louise) Farrell of Hudson, FL; a granddaughter, Jody (Kevin) Krueger of Lewiston; a grandson, Jack Farrell, Jr. of Florida; and her great-grandchildren, Konor and Dylan Krueger, Kaitlyn and Davon Farrell. She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters. Doty, her husband of 30 years, whose love she greatly missed since his passing in April 2013. Loving survivors include her brother, Benjamin Trudnowski of Newfane, NY; her son, James Bisher, Jr. (Joanna); her daughter, Diana Gerland (David); her grandsons, Jonathan Bisher and Jacob Bisher; her great-granddaughter, Chloe Bisher and her cousins, Martha Chilcott, Mary Ann Cutter (Donald) and Joseph Rundio (Beverly); and her grand puppies, Daisy and Moxie. Rita was an Avon Representative for many years. She achieved President's Level - an exclusive club for Avon's top sellers. After moving to Florida she participated in the Big Sun Senior Games and won several medals. Her hobbies included quilting, crafts, water aerobics and shuffleboard. Her passion was playing cards and board games, building puzzles, watching television game shows, going on her casino trips to play the penny and nickel slots, and winning at bingo. She handmade Christmas ornaments every year to give to family and friends that will be greatly missed. Dougherty who predeceased her in 2004. She was a homemaker and operated a dog grooming business from her home for 15 years. After retiring in 1980, Joan and Joel managed a motel in Indialantic, FL. She was active in the Democratic Party and had served as an election inspector for 60 years in the Town of Lewiston. Joan was also a charter member of the Women of the Moose Lodge in Lewiston and had attended St. Peter's RC Church in Lewiston. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Cristoforo and Nicoletta (DeLuca) Pietrangeli. On October 27, 1951 Anna married Ralph J. Zito at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Mrs. Zito attended local schools and graduated from the former Trott Vocational High School where she majored in home economics. She worked in clerical positions at various local businesses including McCrory's Department Store, Airco Speer and Boat “N” Bus Tours. She was also an Avon representative for many years and made many friends during that time. In her later years, she enjoyed going to the casino. Ann was a past member of the Altar and Rosary Society at the former St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Niagara Falls, NY. Most of all Anna will be remembered for her "listening ear". She befriended everyone she met and was always ready to listen with a compassionate heart. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Frank and Gilda (Battafarano) Filicetti. Guido attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. Following his discharge from the military, he continued his education, receiving his Bachelor's in Education and History from Niagara University, and Master's Degree from the University of Buffalo. On July 16, 1947, he married Grace C. (Riggi) Filicetti at St. Joseph Church in Niagara Falls, NY and later moved to Lewiston, NY in the 1970's where he currently resided. Guido had a lengthy career as a history teacher beginning at Depew High School, and spent 32 years with the Niagara Falls Board of Education at the former LaSalle Senior High School, retiring in 1986. Guido was a longtime member of St. Bernard's Church in Youngstown, NY where he also served as a lector and Eucharistic minister, and member of the Niagara Rapids Club. Guido was an outstanding athlete. He excelled in football and basketball for Niagara Falls High School, and was named first-team Frontier All-Star. He went on to play football at Niagara University, and was also named to the 1946 All-Catholic All Star team. He played football for the U.S. Army Air Force and was termed "Swivel-hipped" by the British Press. Guido also qualified for the Army Olympics held in Nuremburg, Germany. He later coached football and track at Depew High School, varsity football, track and wrestling at LaSalle Senior High School and cross country at Niagara University. In addition, Guido served as a referee for local high school and little league football. In recognition of all his athletic accomplishments, Guido was inducted into the Niagara Falls School District Hall of Fame, Niagara University Hall of Fame and the Niagara Falls Old Timers Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to his wife of 67 years, Guido is survived by five children; Frank Filicetti of Lewiston, NY, Sally Jo Filicetti of Lake George, NY, Marianne (Brian) Rickert of Los Angeles, CA, Diane (Richard) Campbell of Miami, FL and Guido "Joe" (Florencia) Filicetti of New York, NY; seven grandchildren, Dani Grace, Katie, Brian Jr., Nicholas, Drake, Teresa and Marcos; two great-grandchildren, one sister Rose (late Fred) Layo of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Louis (Marie of Niagara Falls, NY) Filicetti, Edward (late Rose) Filicetti and one sister Mary (late Peter) D'Ambrosio. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 - 8 p.m. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY where funeral services will begin on Friday February 13th at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY with Msgr. J. Thomas Moran officiating. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY with Military Honors.
