Mr. Hadley was art director of the Werley & Dietrich Adver- tising Agency and art director and sales manager of Windo- Craft Display Service from 1928 to 1932. She lived at the Episcopal Church Home, 24 Rhode Island St. As a child Mrs. Bodamer performed the Little Eve role in "Uncle Tom's Cabin." She also appeared in stage productions with Chauncey Olcott and with a Shakespearean company headed by William Barrett, British actor. The former Jessie Hampson then turned to the .udeville stage as a singer, using the stage name of Dorothy Bond. She captivated Buffalo audiences with her beautiful contralto voice in appearances at the former Shea's Court St. Theater. After quitting the foolights, she was a soloist at the central Presbyterian Church when it stood at Genesee and Pearl. Her husband, Frank, died 17 years ago. Bucci, 51, a former Buffalo restaurant proprietor, died Wednesday in Meyer Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He lived at 5 Sussex St. Mr. Bucci had operated the Babe and Benny restaurant at 457 Grider St. from 1942 to 1948. Then he went to work for the former Town Casino as a bartender and later was head steward until the club was closed in 1965. That same year Mr. Bucci went to work at the Glen Park Casino in Williamsville, where he was assistant manager and head steward until October 1968. Mr. Bucci, a lifelong resident of Buffalo, was a. member of the Holy Name Society of St. Bartholomew's Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Frances Sobczak; a sister, Mrs. James Carducci and a brother, Dominic Bucci, all of Buffalo. Meier, 83, of Backus Rd., Derby, who was in charge of the mounted police detail which escorted President William Mc- Kenley to the Pan-American Ex- position here, will be buried in the Church of Evans Cemetery, Derby, tomorrow afternoon. He died Monday. The Rev. Earle W. Gates, min- ister of First Church of Evans, will conduct funeral services at 1:30 tomorrow at the Carlton A. Ullrich Funeral Home, 3272 Bailey Ave. Mr. Meier later was one of about 150 Buffalo policemen who dispersed the crowd trying to take the President's assailant, Leon Czolgosz, from jail after he shot McKlnley. He served on the police force for nearly 30 years before he retired in 1927. After his retirement Mr. Meier and his wife, the former Catherine Bodamer, who survives, operated a 52-acre farm at Derby until 1945. Mr. Meier at one time was a member of the 74th Infantcy Regiment, New York National Guard; a past grand commander of the Ancient and Illustrious Order of the Knights of Malta; a past president of the Golden Anniversary Club of Buffalo and a member of Garrison 65, Army & Navy Union, USA.
