6501 Frank M. Wasko was born on February 2, 1931 to the parents of Michael and Sophia (Nowak) Wasko. He passed away on February 2, 2017 at his home in Orlando, FL. 
He was survived by his wife, Sally Ann Louise (Johnston) Wasko. They were married on September 26, 1970. He was also survived by his children, Marc (Lynette) Wasko of Orlando, FL, Gary (Louise) Wasko of Lewiston, NY, Sharon (Dean) Philips of Hepbizth, GA and Janice (Donald) McCombs of California; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 
Frank's career started at Moore Business Forms where he served his apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Photoengraver. In 1959, he was appointed to the Lewiston Police Department where he served until he retired in 1981. He became the Lewiston's first full-time Chief of Police in 1970. During his career, he wrote a grant that enabled the department to secure a radio system that could communicate with the New York State Police, Niagara County Sheriff's department and all the police departments in Niagara County. He also wrote grants and received radar unit and a breathalyzer. He was certified by the State Of New York as a radar instructor and a breathalyzer operator. Frank attended a course in crime prevention in Albany, NY and secured equipment that the residents could use it to mark their property at their home. Frank was a life-member of the New York State Chiefs of Police Association. 
After retiring from the police department Frank went to work as the general manager of McDonald's Frontier House. In 1984, he was named Businessman of the Year. He was President of the Lewiston Business and Professional Association from 1984 to 1986. Through his efforts working with Lewiston-Porter School System, he was named the Friend of Education in 1989 by Lewiston-Porters Teachers Association. In 1991, Frank went to work for Burger King Restaurants in Niagara Falls and Buffalo Area and he remained until December of 2007. He finally retired from working and moved to Orlando, FL in early 2011 to be close to his son, Marc and family and enjoy the Florida weather. He enjoyed seeing his granddaughter's everyday after school.

6502 Frank N. Ardus Sr., 87 years old, passed away on February 1, 2021 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida.  He was born in Niagara Falls on February 17, 1933 the son of the late Joseph and Etta (Kellichner) Ardus.​​Frank was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  On September 26, 1952 he entered the United States Army.  He served during the Korean War and received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.  Frank was honorably discharged on July 1, 1960.  He worked as an electrician at Occidental Petroleum for 46 years and retired in 1998.  Frank enjoyed golfing and gardening and was a big fan of the Buffalo Bills.  Frank was predeceased by his wife, Frances (Dobrasz) Ardus who passed away on May 24, 2016.​Frank is survived by his daughter, Teresa (William) Caso; his son, Frank (Cheryl) Ardus, Jr. and his grandchildren; Stephanie Caso, Erica Caso, Nicholas Ardus and Lindsey Ardus.  He was predeceased by his sisters; Alice (late Gordon) Smith and Mary Adkins and his brothers; John (late Betty) Ardus, Samuel Ardus and Charles (late Adela) Ardus.​A private service with Military Honors and entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be held for Frank's family.  Those wishing to make a donation in Frank's memory are asked to consider Historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303. ARDUS, Frank N (I166145)
 
6503 Frank P. Bellavia, Sr., 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Philip and Edna J. (Smith) Bellavia. Frank attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1972. On May 26, 1973 he married his beloved wife, Barbara (Casper) Bellavia at the former Sacred Heart Church. Frank was the owner and operator of Frank’s Body Shop on Niagara Falls Boulevard for 25 years. He later retired from Listen Manufacturing Company as a machinist after 15 years of service. In his leisure time he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 45 of years, Mr. Bellavia is survived by his children, Frank (Brianne) Bellavia, Jr. and Dana (William) Rodgers; four grandchildren, Bryce and Ian Rodgers and Frank, III and Zoe Bellavia; his brother, Guy (Gail) Bellavia and half-sister Jennie Piwowarski. 6504 Frank P. D’Amuro, 83, of Niagara Falls, NY. Loving husband of Matilda (DiPofi) D’Amuro. Passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016 after a long illness. Born on August 31, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY. He was the son of the late Pasquale and Gaetana (Contestabile) D’Amuro.

Frank was educated and resided all of his life in Niagara Falls. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he proudly served his country during the Korean War. Frank was a successful, independent business owner with a special talent and ability to fix anything mechanical. His true passion was spending time with his grandchildren whether it be playing baseball, cards, or telling them “tall tales.” He enjoyed working outside on his lawn and garden. He was a man who truly loved his family and home.
In addition to his loving wife of 63 years, Frank is survived by his beloved children Pasquale (Laura) D’Amuro, Nancy (Mark) Olszewski, and Tony (Lisa) D’Amuro; his adoring, five grandchildren Frank, Nicholas, Kaleigh, Carly, and Caroline; his sister Mary (Frank) Malek. He is preceded in death by his brother Lawrence D’Amuro and twin brother Ted D’Amuro.

6505 Frank R. Piccirillo, 92, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at N.F. Memorial Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph and Giovanna (Viscomi) Piccirillo; and beloved husband of the late Constance “Connie” J. Piccirillo who he married on June 3, 1950.
Frank was a 1946 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Science from Niagara University. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War until his honorable discharge in 1954.
Frank was employed by Bell Aerospace as a chemical engineer prior to his retirement in 1991 after 41 years of dedication. He was a talented craftsman and enjoyed woodworking, as well as making jewelry. In his later years, he enjoyed going to the Casino and OTB. He also looked forward to his daily lunch at Arby’s on Niagara Falls Boulevard where he will be dearly missed. Above all, Frank loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Frank is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Dom) Terrana, Judy (Mike) Mann, Janine Cacciatore, and was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Susan M. Piccirillo. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John (Tina) Stanton, Lisa (Brad) Dixon, Ricky (Gina) Stanton, Nicole (Brian) DeLuca, Joelle Mann, Julie (Joshua) Lind, Matthew Mann, Ryan Norton, Katie Norton, Stephen (Sarah) Clougherty, Frank Clougherty, Jenna Cacciatore and Joli Cacciatore; his great-grandchildren, Joseph, Hailey, Alissa, Giovanna, Lilliana, Jack, Ava, Ella, Henry, Poppy and Stevie May; his siblings, Rory (late Joseph) Etopio and Alfonse Muto, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and daughter, he was predeceased by his siblings Anthony (Mary) Piccirillo, Alfonso (late Josephine) Piccirillo and Victor (Rose) Muto.

6506 Frank S. Brzezinski, age 79 of Cortland, Ohio, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10:25 PM at Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Howland. He was born on November 30, 1934 in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late John and Thedosia Kujawa Brzezinski. He attended grade school and Warren Harding High School. Frank worked at Downtown Motors Oldsmobile for 28 years and then took a job as a custodian at the Bazetta and Cortland Schools. He retired in 1990. He was an avid fisherman and often times went to Canada with his brothers and friends. He loved sports and was a big fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Lou Ondra, whom he married on August 30, 1972; three children, Karrie (Richard) Bebb of Streetsboro, Todd (Joanne) Brzezinski of Cortland, and Eric Brzezinski of San Diego, California; three grandchildren, Monica of Niles and Christina and John of Tallmadge; also many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are six sisters, Dorothy Scarnecchia of Niles, Frances Bilas of Youngstown, Mary Ann Sheptock of Massachusetts, Hariett Thullen of Orwell, Josephine Reinard of Niles, and Kathryn Brzezinski of Cortland. Other than his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his two sisters, Stella Rudy, and Jennie Derskovic; and six brothers, Anthony, Joseph, John, William, Walter, and Leonard. A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Robert Bellarmine Roman Catholic Church in Cortland, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the Mass. Rev. 6507 Frank S. Wasik passed away peacefully at Niagara Hospice surrounded by his loving family on January 9, 2024.  Born October 9, 1928 in North Tonawanda, the son of the late George and Karolina (Sidor) Wasik.  Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (nee Gaylord) Wasik and children Debra (Bill) Hopkins. Diane (David "Jake") Reed, David (Melissa) Wasik, and Michael (Tara) Wasik; his grandchildren Emily Reed, Brooke & Cameron Wasik, and Natalie Wasik.  He was predeceased and joined in heaven with his son Frank T Wasik, grandson Benjamin Wasik, and siblings Miron (Nova), Mitchell "Mac" (Helen), Edward, and Viola "Jane" (Fred) Burkhardt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a lifelong cattle farmer and horse dealer, who bred and raised Brahman cattle, Quarter horses and Belgian work horses.  He had a deep love of farming and animals.  Frank was also a founding member of the Niagara Frontier Draft Horse Club.  He was also a longtime member of the American Legion, serving in the US Army combat veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1953-1955.  Following his honorable discharge, Frank resumed farming fulltime and opened his farm to horse boarding and started a career as a truck driver at Frank's Vacuum Service. 
Frank's greatest joy was his family, who will miss him dearly.  The family would like to thank Niagara Hospice for its wonderful care.

6508 Frank T. Wasik passed away December 4, 2020 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born August 1, 1964 in North Tonawanda, he is the son of Frank and Barbara (Gaylord) Wasik.
Frank was a farmer working on the family farm, Wasik Farm, in Pendleton. He enjoyed working on fabrication, welding and working with heavy equipment. Frank loved being on his farm, planting crops, feeding the cows and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Frank is also survived by his siblings, Debra (William) Hopkins, Diane (David "Jake") Reed, David (Melissa) Wasik and Michael (Tara) Wasik; nieces and nephews, Emily Reed, Brooke and Cameron Wasik, Natalie Wasik, and the late Benjamin D. Wasik; dear friend, Lisa Sendker; also survived by several dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

6509 Frank V. Deuro, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 2, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Facility in Lewiston, NY.  Born on April 18, 1926 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Bongiovanni) Deiuro.
Frank was raised in Niagara Falls, attending local schools.  He proudly served in the US Army during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign, from 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946.  On November 10, 1951, he married Lottie E. (Wojtowicz) Deuro at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Mrs. Deuro predeceased him on June 6, 1996. 
In 1964, he graduated with an Ophthalmic Dispenser Degree from Niagara County Community College.  Frank was employed as a Foreman at Carborundum Corporation in Niagara Falls, NY for 40 years.  He was the Past Commander of the Portage Post #1465, a member of the 40 & 8 La Societe 388, Buff Social Club, Carborundum Retirement Club, and was Past President of the Carborundum Management Club.  In addition, he was a longtime officer of the Elks BPOE Lodge #346, serving as Tiler for many years and was awarded Elk of the Year in 1996. 
Frank was very active in the community, volunteering in many civic organizations.  In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, gardening, working with tools, reading, and exercising.  One of the highlights of his life was traveling to Washington, DC with his son and fellow World War II Veterans on Honor Flight to see all of the memorial sites.  Above all Frank cherished his time with his family, and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Frank is survived by his children, Deborah (Charles) Deuro-Naughton and James F. (late Gail) Deuro; his grandchildren, Michael (Terri) Gormley, Michelle (Tony) Enrico, Christopher Gormley, Erin Naughton, Joshua Naughton, and Courtney Deuro; great-grandchildren, Michael & Elizabeth, Bill & Angela, and Nick and Alec; his brother, John (late Jere) Deuro, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many dear friends and neighbors.  In addition to his wife of 44 years, he was predeceased by his daughter, Dorothy (Jerry) Gormley, as well as his siblings, Leonard (late Mary) Deuro, Carrie (late Ray) Szalach, and Marie Bailey.

6510 Frank W. Harvey, Jr., of Buffalo, NY, passed away on September 5, 2016, in Terrace View, Buffalo, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 7, 1958, the son of the Frank W. and Janet W. (Stevenson) Harvey, Sr.
Frank graduated from Starpoint High, Alfred State and the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture. He was employed with the IRS in Buffalo, NY. He enjoyed gardening and sailing.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Neil W. (Sharon) Harvey; nieces, Heather L. Harvey and Gwynn A. (Shawn) Dunning; great-nieces, Ukari, Reese and Rylee; uncle, Albert W. W. (late Mildred) Harvey; several cousins; and special friend, Pamela Land. He was the nephew of the late Margaret W. (Dominik) Montanari.

6511 Frank ‘Chick’ Tedesco, 85, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on August 14, 2022 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Sebastian ‘Yano’ and Sarah (Farina) Tedesco.
Chick was a 1954 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  He served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1958.  On November 23, 1956, he married Marjorie (Zafuto) Tedesco.  Frank graduated Cum Laude from Niagara University in 1962.  He owned and operated Universal Insulation and Frontier Metal Buildings with his son and grandson as the Proprietor and Sales Manager for 40 years until his retirement in 2020. 
Frank was the Chairman of the National and Regional Advisory Boards for the Northeast Region of V.P. Buildings, where he also held various other offices.  In 2013, he received the Legend in Steel Award, the company’s highest honor.  Chick was also a member of the Niagara County Builders Association.  He enjoyed playing tennis and golfing, and recorded 3 holes in one, and was a member of Niagara Falls Country Club and Naples Lake Country Club since 1979.  Frank enjoyed vacationing to Florida as well as to Phoenix, AZ and California.  Above all, Chick centered his life around his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, Frank is survived by his sons, Frank A. Tedesco, Jeffrey M. Tedesco, and Christopher J. (Kathy) Tedesco; his grandchildren, Alexis Tedesco, Isabella Tedesco, Justin (Mia) Tedesco, Krista (Jeffrey) Gruarin, Anthony Tedesco, and Sophia Tedesco; his great-grandchildren, Enzo Tedesco, Luna Tedesco, Gino Tedesco, Nolan Gruarin, and Shay Gruarin; his siblings, Patricia A. Mack and Gary S. (Rosa) Tedesco, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

6512 Frank ‘Murph’ Zuccari, 74, died Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness.  A lifelong operator and owner of Zuccari Brothers Dairy in Bergholz, he was the son of the late Alfonso ‘Frank’ and Teresa (Ventresca) Zuccari.  He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Rosalie (Cimo) Zuccari, children Jacqueline (Kevin) Mang; Anthony (Maria) Zuccari and Patrick Zuccari and four grandchildren; Domenico, Giovanni and Gianna Zuccari and Bernadette Mang.  He is also survived by brothers Paul A. (Luanne) Zuccari and Robert P. (Joan) Zuccari, several nieces and nephews and cousins, including his business partner Ron Zuccari.
Murph was well known for his smile, his wit, his strength, his energy and his work ethic. He began working on the Zuccari farm with his father and uncle as a small child.  He was a wonderful father and grandfather who loved his family and he was a lifelong farmer who loved the land.  He was well respected within the farm community in Niagara County and his smiling face and joyful laughter was recognized throughout the area.  Many other farmers sought Murph’s advice and opinions about agriculture and farm techniques.  He maintained lifelong friendships with those he had made as a student in Niagara Wheatfield schools and those he made as a county businessman and farmer.  He and his brother, Robert, operated the family farm, which was a dairy business for over 60 years before shifting to crop production.
Murph enjoyed trips to the casino and to the Adirondacks with his family.  He loved sports, especially watching his grandsons’ play hockey, and trying to support the Buffalo Bills.  He delighted in spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved the Zuccari holiday gatherings and playing cards with his brothers and cousins. He was an extraordinary man and his laughter and good humor will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Bergholtz Church, Civic Leader Dies
Franklin F. Jagow, 49, of 6635 Hunt St., Bergholtz, died Sunday (Feb. 20, 1966) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital shortly after suffering a heart attack at home.
He was first vice president of the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church; first commander of the Wheatfield Post of the American Legion; a member of the Bergholtz Fire Co. and a director of the Cooperative Fire 1nsurance Co. of Bergholtz.
Mr. Jagow was employed by the Carborundum Co. for 30 years as a small wheel molder.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Norma Mielke Jagow; three sons, Wayne Jagow, a student at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis; Daniel Jagow and Robert Jagow, both of Bcrgholtz; his father, Frederick Jagow, Bergholtz; four sisters, Mrs. Hugo (Evelyn) Gade. Herman, Sr. and Ruth Herman (Kistner), both deceased. He was married for almost 55 years to his beloved wife, Candice Herman (Kane).Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and is a Vietnam War Veteran. Bud worked for 30 years at General Motors Powertrain in Tonawanda. He had a zest for life and enjoyed being everyone's friend. Bud enjoyed horses, golf, traveling, boating and his beloved Keuka Lake where he and is wife, Candy resided. He enjoyed time with their many friends from the area and most of all time with his family. His family included his very beloved dog, Jake.Loved by his wife, Candice Herman (Kane); his son, Michael Herman and daughter, Michelle (Rodney) Freatman. 6520 Fred J. Metro, 87, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late John and Assunta (DiPaoto) Metro.
Fred attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School. On October 30, 1965 he married the love his life, Janet (Harrigan) Metro, in Sacred Heart Church. They spent 43 memorable years together until Janet’s passing in 2008.
Fred was employed by Anderson Electric in Niagara Falls as a salesman for over 52 years prior to his retirement. He was a longtime member of the I.S.D.A Power City Lodge and also enjoyed to fish. Above all, Fred cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.
Fred is survived by his children, Donna (Paul) Dullen and John (Kate) Metro; as well as his grandchildren Brianna Dullen, Lucy Metro, and Samuel Metro. He was predeceased by his older siblings, Wilhemina (late Charles) Valenti, Joseph (late Sylvia) Metro, Nicholas (late Lillian) Metro, Carmella ‘Tootsie’ (late Charles) Marinello, Mary (late Sylvester) Scollin, Elizabeth (late Emil) Pasquantino, Mariano (late Doris) Metro, and Frank (late Josephine) Metro.

WOLCOTT - Fred Mathew, 81, retired farmer, died at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, Champaign, Ill. He had suffered a heart attack Saturday.
He was born here and spent all his life in this community. He was married to Florence Eck, who died in 1958. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Remington.
Surviving are three sons, Ralph of Remington, Edward of Lafayette, and George Alfred of Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Byron of Rensselaer, Mrs. A. B. Youmans of Ft. Seybert, W. 6522 Fred Silver of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at his home. He was born in Creighton Mine, Ontario, on July 23, 1945, the son of the late Ronald and Muriel [Rumball] Silver.
Fred graduated from Clarkson University with an engineering degree and his MBA. After moving to Lewiston in 1969, he started at Carborudum as a senior engineer and later became the company's president for many years.
Fred was one of the areas finest golfers, winning the Buffalo District Golf Association championship five times and the Niagara Falls Country Club Championship 29 times, along with the Super-Senior Porter Cup in 2012. Fred was involved with the Porter Cup and helped start the Senior Porter Cup and the Women's Porter Cup. He was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2003.
Fred is survived by his wife of 51 years Connie [Falzetta] Silver, one son David (fiancee Meredith Phelps) Sliver, three daughters Dena (Jake) Upton, Carolyn (Nick) Taluja and Julie (Christian Campos) Silver, two brothers Ron (Joan) and Mike (Marg) Silver, a sister Dale (John Secenj) Milburn and a sister in law Leigh Silver, he is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grand daughter and a brother Tim Silver.

6526 Frederick E. Bacon, 87, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020. He was born on September 25, 1932 in New Rochelle, NY. He moved to Niagara Falls, NY in 1935 and graduated from Bishop Duffy High School and Niagara University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. He attended Harvard Business School. He resided in Jacksonville for the past 46 years.
Fred served with the US Army in Europe from 1955-1957 as a 1st Lieutenant.
Fred started his career in 1957 as a teller at Marine Midland Trust Co. in Lewiston, NY. He held many positions within the bank and was promoted to Vice President of Loans in Niagara Falls, NY. Fred was Chairman of the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce's Legislation Action Committee, Director of the LaSalle Lions Club, past Chairman of the YMCA LaSalle Branch's Board of Managers, past President of Niagara Falls Jaycees and treasurer for Niagara County SPCA and New York State Jaycees. He took a position with American National Bank and moved to Jacksonville, FL. He held the titles of Sr. Vice President of Treasury Management at American National Bank. He was an instructor in accounting and economic courses conducted by the American Institute of Banking.
He was an avid golfer and sponsored Dr. Richard Gunderman's annual golf tournament, United Cerebral Palsy, for children with severe disabilities each year in Tampa, Florida. He left his mark in golf at Deerwood Country Club - A Hole in One!
Fred taught numerous religion classes at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Florida. He served as a Eucharistic Minister to the elderly in nursing homes for a number of years. He also volunteered for Hospice Northeast. He became a friend to many of the people he visited. He loved to give to charity. He was an avid reader and well-studied. He loved opera, fine wine and good ole' home cooking. He also used to play tennis and loved to take long walks with his dog Lady.
He is survived by his three daughter's Suzanne Moore Bacon, Mary Hunter, Catherine Carrier, his son-in-law David Carrier, and his three grandchildren - Kendall and Alexander Carrier and David Hunter. He is also survived by his three sisters, Mary O'Brien, Ann (Dr. Richard) Gunderman, Patricia (Joseph) Corcoran as well as his nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded by his brother Thomas Bacon, his mother Mary Lavelle Bacon, and his father Frederick Evander Bacon.
A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 6320 Bennett Road, Jacksonville, Florida

He was born in Germany and had been most of his life in North Tonawanda. Besides his widow, three sons, Albert, Otto and Edward Haseley, and three daughters. Mrs. Fred Glawf, Mrs. Harry Wilson and Mrs. Fred Plumsteel, survive.

Frederick (Ted) Atwater went home to be with God on July 14, 2022.  Ted was born in Lockport on May 11, 1938, son of the late Fred S. and Gladys (Stellrecht) Atwater. He started working on the family farm as a young boy and was instrumental in changing the focus from fruit farming to dairy. A graduate from Barker Central School in 1956 and Alfred State College with a degree in Animal Husbandry in 1958. He was awarded a scholarship from the Ralston Purina Co. which paid for part of his 2nd year of college. He built up a herd of Holstein cows and won many awards for milk production and quality.
 
December 27, 1963 he married Rose Marie (Eaton), and together they enjoyed dairy and sheep farming with their 4 children, who were active in 4-H. Frederick has been very active in West Somerset Baptist Church serving on many boards and committees over his lifetime. He was still a member of the Board of Trustees serving since he was a young adult. He encouraged many to serve God in Christian ministry.
 
He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years; Loving father to his 4 children,  Andrew Frederick (Krista), Amy Beth (David) Hill, Steven Douglas (Stephanie), and Melissa Rose (Timothy) Hussey; Grandchildren Kara Ann, Elijah John (Katie), Lucas Charles, Tessa May Atwater, Matthew (Melissa) Hill and Nolan Hussey; Great-grandchildren  Aubrey and Myles Hill, Lacus, Xeno, and Soren Atwater; sisters Suzanne Belling and Nancy (Robert) Paffenroth; sister-in-law, Linda (Louis) Greenwald;  also many nieces and nephews.

6529 Frederick J. Brimmer passed away April 12, 2023 in Roswell Park Cancer Institute.  Born January 8, 1947 in Lockport he was the son of David L. and Florence M. (Whitmore) Brimmer.  Frederick worked at Harrison Radiator Div of GM where he was a Engineer Technician.  He was an active member of the Medina Senior Center, was an avid card player, enjoyed baking, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.  Frederick was predeceased by his wife Catherine (Vecchione) Brimmer on July 23, 2015.
Frederick is survived by his children, Felicia (Robert) Snyder, Vincent (Suzanne) Dell’Oso, Stephanie (Eric) Kline and Michelle (Lori Davis) Brimmer; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by his brother George Brimmer.

Fred was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School.  He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1967.  Fred was employed as a welder at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY for 30 years until his retirement in 1996.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping, and centered his life around his family.
Mr. Watson was predeceased by his wife, Carol J. (Kasprzak) Watson who passed away in 1991. He is survived by his daughter, Kim M. Watson and predeceased by his son, Frederick E. Watson who passed away in 1983,  Fred is also survived by his grandson, Jordan A. Byrd; his loving companion, Yvonne ‘Eve’ M. Kinz; his brother, Mark R. Born in Niagara Falls, New York on March 21, 1929; son of the late Miknail and Mary (Toponak) Skorik. He was employed at Occidental Chemical Company, until his retirement. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane (Haseley) Skorik, on February14, 2017. 
Survivors include two children, Richard (Denise) Skorik of Amherst, NY, and Mary Jane (John) Skorik-Andrews of Virginia; four grandchildren, Richard (Heather), Andrew, Emma and Susannah; and three great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Nadia and Nathaniel. 
Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) Town of Wheatfield, on Friday, March 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael A. Keicher, on Saturday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. A private interment will take place on Monday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. in Riverdale Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY.

6534 Frederick W. Becker, age 74, of Tonawanda, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his residence after a long illness. Born January 19, 1943 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Leslie and Gertrude (nee Donovan) Becker. Fred was an Electrician for Driscoll Electric in Buffalo for more than 30 years before retiring and was a volunteer fireman for National Hose Company #1 in Tonawanda.
He was the beloved husband for 50 years of Linda (nee Guarino) Becker; loving father of Christina (Bob) Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina, Cheryl Gravanda of Charlotte, North Carolina, Frederick Becker, Jr. of Tonawanda, and Robert (fiancee' Alla) Becker; loving grandfather of Ashley and Erica Williams, Michael Gravanda, Joseph and Robert Becker; and loving brother to Michael (Joyce) Becker of Boston, New York, Loretta (Joseph) Kulczyk of Hamburg, and Susan (David) Orlowski of Hamburg. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, "Stitch".
Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad Street at Clinton Park, Tonawanda. Friends invited. Bank of Cooperstown and a
former resident of Fredonia,
died last T h u r s d a y (Feb. 27, 19-
58) at Cooperstown after a brief
illness.
A. native of Pomfret, Mr.
Blodgett had been with the National
'Bank of Fredonia before
moving to Cooperstown 18 years
ago. He was a member of -the
Cooperstown Rotary Club.
Besides his wife, Marian, he

After their return from their wed-
ding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Burroughs will
take up their residence in Fredonia.
The bride has been on the staff of
Brooks Memoria Hospital for four
years and was supervisor of nurses
there for a time.

Bridgeport, a former resident of
Fredonia, died Sunday (April
7, 1963) in St. Mary's Hospital,
Syracuse, following a long illness.
She was the widow of Fred
Powell.
iMrs. Powell was the daughter
of the late Rev. and Mrs. Milo
Bodgett. She has resided in
Bridgeport several years and
was a memfber of the Methodist
Church in Cicero Center.
She is survived by two daughters,
Miss Elizabeth Mary Powell;
who made her home With
her mother, and Mrs. Roy S Aldrich
of Kenmore three grandchildren,
five great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held in
the Ferguson Funeral Home,
North Syracuse, Monday evening
and in the Larson Memorial
Chapel here Wednesday morning,
with the Rev. Donald E.
Modisher, pastor of the First
Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Ralph Philo Blodgett, 65, of
Newell Road, Sheridan, who

of injuries suffered March
17 in an accident while working

Corp. plant, Dunkirk.
Rites were in the Gardinier
Funeral Home with the Rev.
Delbert E. Jolley, pastor of the
First Methodist Church, of Fredonia,
officiating. Burial was in
Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Blodgett, a native of
Fredonia, .suffered .a .fractured
neck and skull -and
chest injuries when he was
pinned against a wall by a
furnace car. He was an assistant
electrician at the plant
and also operated a farm.
He was a member of the^ First
Methodist Church, of Fredonia
Grange 1 and the Chautauqua
County Farm Bureau. He was
also a trustee of S h e r i d an
School District 7.
' Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Mabel B. Blodgett; two sons
John A Blodgett of New York
City and Donald E. Blodgett of
Lorain, O.; two sisters, Miss
Helen M. Blodgett of Dover,
N. J., and Mrs. Gertrude L.
Smith of Lamberton, and two
brothers, Maurice D. Blodgett

of Washington Grove, Md.
