Born on June 24, 1949, in Lockport, he was the son of the late Joseph St. Onge and Lila (nee Criswell) St. Onge Rose. He retired after 34 years as a Millwright from Buffalo Paperboard/Domtar. Gary was President of Local 1195 for over 18 years, was Sargeant at Arms of Niagara Orleans Council since 1981, a member of The Moose Club and The Elks Lodge. He received “Labor Person of the Year”, he volunteered for the letter carriers, rang bells for The Salvation Army and participated in “Make a Difference Day” and “The Day of Sharing”. Gary enjoyed crossword puzzles, crypto, sudoku, jumble and camping. 6854 | Gary W. Aaron, 81, of Andover, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 5, 2023 in Niagara Falls, NY under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Brookville, PA, he was the son of the late Wilson Aaron and Betty (Bowser) (late William) Vicaire. Gary came to the area as a child with his family, where he attended local schools. In 1963, he married Patricia (Clarke) Aaron, who predeceased him on May 5, 2014, 9 years ago to the date of his passing. Gary was employed for over 40 years as a Union Millwright with Union Carbide and Carbon Graphite in Niagara Falls until his retirement in the early 2000s. An avid outdoorsman, Gary loved hunting and fishing. He loved his dog, Apollo. Gary will be remembered for his sense of humor and his flirtatious nature – he loved to flirt with pretty ladies, and to Gary, every lady was a pretty lady. Above all, he lived for his children and grandchildren, who will miss him dearly. Gary is survived by his children, Wilson Aaron, Jerry Aaron, and Veronica Aaron; his grandchildren, Wilson (Amber) Aaron, Jr., Angelica (Brian) Neubert, Jacob (Tyler) Aaron, Courtney Aaron (fiancé Zach Blackwell), Devin Santiago (fianceé Riley Knorr), Matthew Santiago, Darius (Alissa) Santiago, Miranda Bliss, Danica Bliss, and Mereck Bliss; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild on the way; his sister, Robin A. 6855 | Gary W. Hendryx, 73, of Brookston, IN, passed away at 12:30 AM on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 2, 1949 in Lafayette, IN to the late Jesse Darnell "JD" Hendryx and Mable (Mathew) Hendryx. Gary was a 1967 graduate of Frontier High School. Gary served in the Army National Guard from 1969 until his honorable discharge in February of 1975. His marriage of 49 years was to Pam Hinsey on July 7, 1973 at the Brookston Federated Church; she survives. Gary was a long-time member of the Brookston Federated Church and former member of the White County Sheriff's Department Merit Board, the White County Alcohol and Beverage Board and a County Councilman at Large. Gary and his wife were owner/operators of the Top Notch Bar in Brookston for 30 years. Their customers were always welcomed with Gary's larger than life smile and a gentleness that made them feel welcome and comfortable. Gary was proud of the many traditions created and carried on throughout the years. He loved serving others and believed in "paying it forward" by doing acts of kindness for those in need. He and Pam considered their guests family and they treated them that way. Even in the busiest times, Wednesday lunches and rambunctious Purdue games with his lifelong buddies always ranked high on Gary's priority list. Prior to the Top Notch, Gary worked for Ash Grove Co-Op and Orville Redenbacher Popcorn as a field representative. An avid Purdue Fan, Gary and Pam had season tickets to Purdue Men's Basketball for many years. Gary was also a proud member of the Fast Breakers, a group supporting all things Purdue Basketball and Matt Painter. Most of all, Gary was a loving and devoted husband and father; his two daughters were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them succeed in all their activities. He was a proud Poppies. Surviving with his wife Pam are two daughters; mother; four siblings; three grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Mr. Belliveau was born September 1, 1937 in Lockport, a son of the late Lucien Belliveau and Marie Pellerin Belliveau. A member of St. Mary's Church in Gasport, he and his wife wintered for many years in St. Petersburg, FL, where he was a member of the American Legion Post No. 273 in Madeira Beach. He served with the United States Navy from 1955-1959. Marion was born October 17, 1921, daughter to the late Edward and Elsie (Mietz) Hellert. She grew up on Tonawanda Creek in Akron and was married in April of 1940 to Chester Waszak. Together they lived and raised their family in Medina. Marion was a faithful member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medina. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She opened her home, her heart and arms to all of her grandchildren and took great joy in being a part of their lives as they grew up. She was bom on Aug. 3, 1908 in Meriden, Conn, and was the daught er of the late Alfred and Minnie (Marvel) Brown. She married the late Leon Harling Sr. in 1930 in Albion. He died in 1953. Mrs. Harling worked as a bookk eeper at Agway in Knowlesville for 23 years and retired in 1975. She was a graduate of Brockport Teachers College Teaching School in Albion in the 1920's. She lived in Gasport the past two years at the United Church Colony Home and previousl y in Knowlesville. She is survived by two sons, Leon C. Tonawanda to the late Fred and Helen (Neubauer) Meyers. Dorothy enjoyed tending to her gardens and for a time worked for Smith’s Roses. In her youth, she worked at Wurlitzer during WWII. She was an avid collector of all things clown related and had various dolls, artwork and the like at her home. Most of all, Dorothy loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Floyd October 28, 1977, daughter Margaret in 2012, sister Alma Rogers, sons-in-law, Ted Bryan and Maurice Gaskill. Born on December 9, 1942 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Leona (Schultz) Grant. Gaynel was in the first graduating class at Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1960. She also attended the former Trinity Lutheran School in Niagara Falls, LaSalle and Gaskill. Gaynel was employed as an office worker for Voyager Emblems in Sanborn, and Flowers by Dianne in North Tonawanda. She ws a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls until 1982, and then became a member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz. 6875 | Gene A. Printup, 66, of Lewiston, NY, passed away at his residence on April 7, 2021. Born in Ransomville, NY, he was the son of the late Harrison ‘Pelly’ and Doris (Jacobs) Printup. Gene attended local schools and graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School in 1973. He was self-employed locally in the construction industry for many years. For 46 years, Gene was a volunteer firefighter and EMT with Lewiston #2, serving as the Former Fire Chief. Gene was an animal lover, and owned and rode horse. Gene was very involved in the community, and he was an active member of Tuscarora Uncles group. He loved his Chocolate Labradors, and his yellow-naped Amazon Parrot, Hoagie. He loved taking long road trips. Above all, he loved and cared for his family and cherished the time he spent with them. Gene is survived by his wife, Joy A. (Bartalone) Printup; his daughters, Heather Printup (Michael Spencer) and Michelle (Jason) Drury; his stepsons, Fred Bartolone, Joe (Katie) Hoover, and Bob Hoover; his grandchildren, Alexandria, SieAnna, Kennedy, JoJo, Kalen, Markie, Lavin, and Clara; his siblings, Harrison ‘Wimpy’ (Jeanie) Printup, William (Lori) Printup, and Merrelene (Alan) Hammer, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunties, Uncle Frosty and cousins. 6893 | Geneva NY Daily Times - 10/19/1936 Canandaigua, Oct. 19-Two men are dead and a third was seriously Injured in an automobile crash in the Canandaigua-Chapin highway about 12:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon. The dead are: Maurice Fitzgerald, 65, of Hopewell. George A. Benham, 79, of Canandaigua. Seriously injured in Memorial Hospital here is William J. Meredith, 47, former newspaper publisher, of this city- He has a crushed chest and a bad cut on the forehead which required five stitches to close. The crash occurred at the Intersection of the Chapin highway with the Littleville road, about three and one-half miles east of this city. There were no eye-witnesses. Fitzgerald was a passenger in the Benham taxi. It Is believed that the taxi attempted to make a left hand turn into the driveway of Fitzgerald's home when t h e car was struck broadside by Meredith, proceeding west towards Canandaigua. Fog and rain are said to have obscured Meredith's view of the car swinging across the road. Both cars were carried west by the Impact into the front yard of the Fitzgerald home. Benham and Fitzgerald were thrown from their machine while Meredith was found by passing motorists in a dazed condition behind the wheel of his car. The right-hand aide of the Benham machine was practically demolished and the right front end of the other oar badly damaged. Fitzgerald receaved a fractured pelvis causing an Internal hemmorrage from which death resulted, according to Coroner Leon A. Stet- son, of this city. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after being brought to Memorial Hospital. Ben- ham died in the hospital here late yesterday. He received a fractured skull and pelvis. Surviving Fitzgerald is one sister. Miss Mary Fitzgerald, with whom he resided. His body was taken to undertaking rooms in Shortsvllle. Mrs. Meredith is a daughter of William S. Moore, Geneva attorney, and with her son, resides at the Moore residence there. Benham is survived by a son, A. Harold Benham, of Rochester, and a daughter, Mrs. S. Hall, of Canandaigua. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock in Woodlawn Chapel. The dead man was a resident of Canandaigua for 40 years during which time he operated, first, a livery business, and later a taxi business. Coroner Stetson will hold a double inquest.
