8301 Joseph Carroll, 41, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the beloved son
of Thomas and Patricia (DiPasquale) Carroll. 

Joe graduated from LaSalle High School and attended Niagara County Community College where he excelled in baseball. He began working for PepsiCo and 3M, and was currently employed as a landscaper. Following college, Joe also continued to stay active in the baseball community as a coach and player in local men’s leagues. He was also a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Cleveland Indians. 

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his brother, Lenny (Billie) Breeden; two nephews, David and Joshua Breeden; his uncles, Joseph (Marilyn) DiPasquale and Samuel (Kerry) DiPasquale; his girlfriend, Missy Miller and cherished dog, Bruno. He was predeceased by his grandmothers, Mary DiPasquale and Marge MacKender; and his aunt, Sue “Sara” (Ronald) Rice. He is also survived by many cousins and countless friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 24 from 10 – 1 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 1 P.M. 8302 Joseph D. Abbo, 57, of Lewiston NY died on Monday May 31, 2010 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Dominic and Ada (Robertson) Abbo.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. He attended local schools and graduated from the former Bishop Duffy High School in Niagara Falls. On August 11, 1979 he married Karen A. (Filippelli) Abbo in Las Vegas, NV. Joe was a real estate appraiser and the owner and operator of Appraisal Associates in Lewiston, NY. Joseph, a gifted musician and composer, played the guitar, banjo and percussion instruments. He also wrote and composed his own music, and frequently attended music composition seminars. Joe at one time also taught music at D'Amico Music in Niagara Falls. Joseph was a sports enthusiast, and particularly enjoyed playing golf and bocce. He also enjoyed traveling and playing cards particularly poker. Most important to Joseph was his family and spending time with them. He was always putting their needs ahead of his own, and took great pleasure in being with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Above all, Joseph will be remembered for his happy demeanor, great sense of humor and wit, and warm smile.

In addition to his wife of thirty years, Joseph is survived by his three daughters, Shelly (Nino) Ramseyer of Lewiston, NY; JoAnn (Gary) Bradley of Niagara Falls, NY and Tina Abbo of Lockport, NY; four grandchildren, Nikki DiRamio, Dylan Bradley, Trevor Bradley and Chase Bradley, one sister Donna (Larry) Gilbert of North Tonawanda, NY, his nieces and nephew Stephanie, Kevin and Keri, his father-in-law Anthony Filippelli, his sister-in-law Tina Filippelli, several cousins and his faithful companion Tucker. He was also predeceased by his former wife, Sharleen Stanley.

8303 Joseph D. Martinucci, Jr., 33, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 14, 2021 at NF Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Joseph D. Martinucci, Sr. and Pamela G. (Seger) Martinucci.
Joe attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. In his younger years, he excelled in playing hockey, baseball and volleyball. Joe was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for Apartments Niagara and currently worked at H.W. Bryk & Sons.
Joe was a member of the LaSalle Sportsman’s Club and an avid hunter and fisherman. He bowled in various local leagues and enjoyed four wheeling with his daughter, Alena. Joe was also a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills and especially enjoyed coaching his daughter’s soccer team. Above all, Joe loved spending time with his family who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by his fiancé, Ashley Nichols; children, Alena Martinucci and Eli Martinucci; step-daughter, Reagan Sloma; siblings, Amy Martinucci (Frank Maida) and Robbie Seger; his maternal grandmother, Mabel (late Albert) Seger and paternal grandfather, Donald (Donna) (late Irene) Martinucci; his aunts and uncles, Sue (Mark) Graff, Dan (Leslie) Martinucci, Anthony (Carrie Cooper) Martinucci, Lori Galley and Lori (late Nick) Martinucci; nieces and nephews, Ayden, Ashtyn, and Andrew Maida, Austin, Tia, Bria and Madison Seger; his lifelong friend Gary Violanti, Jr; his godparents, Jerome and Denise Bobak, as well as many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends.  
Joseph was predeceased by his maternal great-grandparents, Mabel and Amsey VanVolkinburg and his paternal great-grandparents Ariple (Nini) (late Lena) Martinucci.

Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Nephew, and Cousin

Joseph Daniel Paduano, 78, of Youngstown, New York passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the loving son of the late Anthony and Pauline (Simone) Paduano.
Born on March 6, 1942, Joseph attended Holy Rosary Grammar School (K-8), and graduated from Bishop Duffy in 1960.
He married his beloved wife Robin on June 9, 1984.    He was a devoted husband to his wife Robin and an adoring father to his daughter Lisa.    He and Robin were happily married for 38 years.
After high school graduation, he worked at Sirianni Foods, The MGM City Market, and Federal Meats.
In 1964, Joseph joined the U.S. Air Force as an Air Policeman stationed in Japan.    He remained in service until 1968.  Upon his return to Niagara Falls, Joseph worked for the Niagara Falls Board of Education under the CETA program as a security specialist.
Subsequently, he worked for AETNA Insurance as a Safety Engineer, and retired while living in Memphis, TN.
Joseph is survived by his brothers, Edward and Paul.  Also survived nieces Gina (Richard) Vallari and Simone (Paduano) Kelley.
He is predeceased by his sister Joanne Paduano, by his aunts and uncles: Uncle Albert and Aunt Theresa (Troia) Paduano; Aunt Rose (Paduano)Salfi; Uncle Carmen and Aunt Celia (Simone) Granto; Uncle Claude and Aunt Mary (Simone) Faiola; Uncle Donald and Aunt Victoria (Simone) Venturelli; Uncle Leo and Aunt Frances (Sgro) Simone; and sister-n-Iaw Barbara (Riggi)
Paduano. Joseph will be greatly missed by all of his cousins and their children with whom he was very close.

No man was a finer person than Joe. He was the most caring, thoughtful and kind human being that ever lived. He loved the casino and was an avid slot player.   He always had a smile on his face. Joe faced many adversities relating to his health and never complained, just took life for what it was.  His struggles through many trying times, never stopped his optimistic outlook. He will always be remembered and loved.

8305 Joseph F. Baio, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. He was was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on July 18, 1935, the son of the late John and Carmela [Bolone] Baio and step son of the late Irene Baio.

Mr. Baio graduated from Trott Vocational High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was a millwright and later became a supervisor with Occidental Chemical for over 30 years before retiring in 1995.

Mr. Baio loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed working around his home.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Rosalie A. [Zaccarella] Baio, one son Joseph (Shawna) Baio of Cumming, GA, two daughters Angela (Michael) Ieraci and Jennifer (Chris) Klemick both of Lewiston, NY, twelve grandchildren Justin, Marissa (Chris) Tomlin, David, Gabrielle, Morganne, Adrianna, Brittany, Lindsey, Marcus, William, David and Aidan, two great grandchildren Sophia and Gianna, two brothers John (Barbara) Baio and Michael (late Melinda) Baio, two sisters Mary (late Pat) Shanley and Joanne (Ray) Mangels, also many nieces and nephews. Mr. Baio was the brother of the late Angeline (late John) Trott.

Joe was a avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, golfing, and camping. In his spare time he liked to play hockey. Joey worked for Colton R.V. in Wheatfield, NY.

Survived by his loving wife of 61 years to Joan(Bonnie). 8310 Joseph J. Cadille, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 27, 2019 in Rochester, NY at the age of 97.  He was born on August 25, 1922 in Niagara Falls, NY to Tenero and Mary (Vasta) Cadille. 
Joe is survived by his wife of 72 years, Jeanette (Nanula) Cadille, Rochester, NY. Additionally, his (2) sons Richard (Christina) Cadille of Rochester and David (Colleen) of Cheektowaga; and (3) granddaughters Colette (Mario) Retrosi of Woodstock, VA, Jennifer (Bradley) McKnight of Rochester, NY and Elisa (Jeremy) Kelly of Clarence, NY. Great-grandchildren include Julia, Andrew, Braden McKnight and Luciano Retrosi.  His sister Rachael (Henry) Adaszak of North Palm Beach, FL survives Joe and (2) deceased brothers are Anthony (Anita) Cadille of Lewiston, NY and Carl (Dana) Cadille of West Palm Beach, FL.
Joe attended local schools, graduating from NFHS in 1940. He served 4 years in the Air Force during WWII (1942-1946) primarily at Air Bases teaching Link Training to bomber pilots and overseas in the China-Burma-India campaigns. Joe was also a U.S. Postal Carrier 14 years and a MetLife agent 26 years, retiring in 1980.
Joe was associated with the Sertoma Club, Niagara River Anglers, American Legion #1664 Cadille Post and Mom’s Restaurant Breakfast Bunch. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, mall-walking and wintering in Florida.
There is no prior visitation. Mr. Cadille's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 9th at St. Leo’s RC Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Internment with Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.

8312 Joseph J. ‘Joey’ Swartz, 31, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on November 10, 2020 at Erie County Medical Center.  Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of late Dennis W. and late Anne Marie (Spadorcia) Swartz.
Joey graduated from Niagara Falls High School, and graduated from Canisius College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.  He worked several jobs, but most recently he was the Director of Center City Neighborhood Development Corporation in Niagara Falls, a job that he was extremely proud of and devoted to.  Joey was active in both local and national politics, volunteering with Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign.  He enjoyed playing bocce and going to the casino.
Joey is survived by his siblings, Anthony V. (Katie) Swartz, Denise M. (Robert) Beer, and Michael P. (fiancée Judy Nguon) Swartz; his nieces and nephews, DeAndre, Leila, Tyler, Madison and Dylan, his maternal grandmother Sue (late Vincent) Spadorcia, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

8313 Joseph James Dolansky, 76 of Appleton, N.Y. passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2016 to meet our Heavenly Father at his home. Joseph was born on March 24, 1940 in Youngstown, NY to Joseph and Jennie K. (Kozdranski) Dolansky. He is preceded in death by his parents, and survived by his wife of 52 years Joan Eve (Lasota) and sister Dr. Fidelis Carolyn (William T.) Define of Baltimore, MD as well as his 4 children; son Dr. Joseph D. Dolansky of Fredericksburg VA, daughter Eve M. (Paul ) Preste of Boca Raton FL, son Daniel J. (Jessica) Dolansky of Newfane, NY and son Dr. Evan P. Dolansky of Lockport, NY; also grand-daughters Alexis and Sierra Cardenas and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Dolansky worked as a full time substitute teacher at Lewiston-Porter before receiving a full time position as a high school social studies teacher in Newfane, NY in 1964. He retired in 1995 after 30 years with many good memories of the students he taught and inspired. In 1967, Joseph moved his family out to the Newfane area and purchased a farm. Using his farming skills from his youth, Joseph and his family prospered and made many new friends who visited the farm. He was well-known for his quality fruit, especially his cherries and peaches. Joseph was a past member of the Newfane Grange, Barker Lions Club, Somerset Planning Board, Newfane Teachers Association, and Niagara County Cooperative Extension and a regular member of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Olcott, NY. He enjoyed all sports, especially hunting and fishing but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Family will receive friends at Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Tuesday, April 12th. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Brendan on the Lake (St. Charles Borromeo), Olcott, NY on Wednesday April 13th at 10 am with Father James Hassett officiating. 8314 Joseph John Bielec, Jr., of Niagara Falls, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020.  He was 77 years old.  He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on June 23, 1943, a son of Joseph John and Wanda (Niemeic) Bielec, Sr. 
He served his country with great pride in the United States Navy for which he will be honored on Saturday with Military Honors.  After his service with the Navy, Mr. Bielec was employed as an electrician for the former Airco Speer Company in Niagara Falls.  Following his retirement, he and his beloved wife, Darlene relocated living in Virginia for many years, returning to Niagara Falls last year.
Mr. Bielec was a family man.  He enjoyed traveling with his family on various adventures,  When grandchildren came along, he was always there for them and loved the time spent playing with them.  He truly loved babysitting his grandson “little Joe” with his contagious smile and sense of humor.  When time allowed, Joe enjoyed fishing, especially in the Lower Niagara River.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Darlene (McSpadden) Bielec; his children, Joseph John Bielec III; Troy Dion (Kimberly) Bielec; grandchildren, Tyler; Stephanie; Cody; John E. Bielec, Jr; Joshua Aaron and Julia Faith Bielec; great grandchildren, Cayden and Milo; siblings, Paul (Debbi) Bielec; James (Mackie) Bielec; Thomas (Debbie) Bielec and Lorraine Reno.  He was predeceased by his son, John Edward Bielec in 2017; a grandson, Joseph J. 8315 Joseph John Teixeira, Sr., 85, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Largo Medical Center, Largo FL on April 10, 2016. Loving husband of Elizabeth (Mann) Teixeira; loving father to Maria (Patrick) Dillon, Joseph, Jr. (Stephanie), Patrick (Lenora), Robert, Charles (Joanne) Teixeira, Richard (Gina) Mann and the late Michele Hay; loving grandfather of Patrick and Joseph Dillon, Patrick, Jennifer, Julia, Joey, Andrew and Gianna Teixeira, Grandpa Joe to Brittany (Chris), Bradley, Robbie, Lianna (Joey) and Stephanie. Also survived by brothers, John P. (Jackie) Teixeira, Jr., Charles P. Teixeira; sister, Carol (Sam) Chism; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also predeceased by one brother, Patrick Teixeira.
Born in Scranton, PA he was the son of the late John P. and Josephine M. (Beningo) Teixeira, Sr. Joseph moved to Swoyersville, PA as a child, attended local schools and graduated from Swoyersville High School. In 1951, he moved to Niagara Falls and attended Erie County Technical Institute where he earned an Associate's Degree in Metallurgical Technology. Joe served in the United States Army in Tokyo during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge he worked on the Niagara Power Project. Joe was employed by the Carborundum Company for 26 years until his retirement as Operations Manager in the New York and Niagara Falls, Ontario plants in 1987. In 1989, he became the Facilities Engineer for AFPS.
He was a parishioner of St. Leo's Church and past president of the Holy Name Society. Also a member of the Plant Managers Association of Niagara, the Moose Lodge, Town of Niagara Snow Rangers, Town of Niagara Planning Board, a life-member and past president of Niagara #1 Volunteer Fire Department and member of the American Legion #252 in Largo, FL.

8316 Joseph L. Scalzo, 80, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away at home surrounded by family on April 1, 2025, while under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Speranzza) Scalzo.
JoJo, as he was affectionately known, grew up in Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. He was the longtime proprietor at Niagara Ambulance Service in Niagara Falls, NY. He successfully owned and operated several collision shops in Niagara Falls for many years, as well as a snowplowing business. He also opened local bars Pour Joe’s and Bailey’s, which he owned and operated alongside his son, where many went to see familiar faces.  Joe loved going on cruises, boating, working on cars, and hanging out at the casino. More than everything else in his life, he cherished time spent with family and friends.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 16 years, Beverly L. (Jagow) Scalzo; his children, Mark (Tracey) Scalzo and Jeanine (Martin) Zak; his grandchildren, Amber, Vincent, and Marky; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Scalzo-Bolender; and sister-in-law Barbara (Daniel) LaBernardo, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was sadly predeceased by his first wife, Donna (Rotella) Scalzo, and his brother-in-law, Richard (Roz) Jagow.

8317 Joseph L. Sdao, 87 of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on March 7, 2018 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born April 6, 1930, in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Lawrence and Anna (Petito) Sdao. 
Joseph attended local schools and served in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Japan and the Philippines from 1948 until his honorable discharge in 1952.  He married Louise (Gugino) Sdao in 1958, and together they moved to the San Francisco, California area where they lived until returning to Niagara Falls in 1985.  Mrs. Sdao predeceased him in 1986.  Joe worked as a truck driver in California for Shell Oil Company and later E & J Gallo Wines until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion John J. Welch Post #381 and Elks lodge in Niagara Falls.  In his leisure time, Joe enjoyed model airplanes and working on automobiles.
Mr. Sdao is survived by his two sons, Gary (Madonna) Sdao and Keith (Cassy) Sdao, six grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, loving companion, Karen Harpham as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by a sister, Delores (late Stephen) Bzinak.

8318 Joseph L. Segarra, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on September 4, 2022 in N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Montecon) Segarra.
Joseph attended local schools and proudly served in the United States Air Force during WWII.  He married, Betty J. (Kinary) Segarra, on August 25, 1951.  Mrs. Segarra predeceased Joseph on January 26, 1995.  Joseph was employed as a pipefitter at Olin Mathieson Corporation for 22 years and later at General Motors in Tonawanda, NY for 26 years, retiring in 1992. Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Joseph is survived by his children, Martin (Susan) Segarra, Patricia (Lee) Wallace, Susan (Anthony) Masella, Joseph (Lori) Segarra and James (Ann) Segarra; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Ruth (late Michael) Kralik and Adrian (late Ruth) Segarra.

8319 Joseph L. Zafuto, 88 of Greensboro, NC, passed away on July 23, 2020 in the care of Hospice. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 2, 1931. He was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Rotundo)Zafuto.
He graduated from Newfane High School, attended Erie Technical School, and retired from General Motors Harrison Radiator Division, Lockport, NY. He was a tool engineer and designer. He was also active in industrial sales.
Joe was an excellent athlete, played baseball, racquet ball, and was an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Rene; and step-children. Joe is survived by his children, Mark (Susan) of Maumee, OH, Donna (Carl) Havre De Grace, MD, David (Francesca) of Lockport,NY, Richard (Diana) of Portland, OR; sister, Marjorie (Frank) Tedesco, Lewiston, NY; brother, Samuel of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Isaac, Trevor and Ashley, Maretta and Gabe, and Octavia Zafuto (deceased); great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Annabelle.

8320 Joseph M. Barone, Jr., 96, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on February 5, 2025, surrounded by family.  Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph M., Sr. and Emma (Trinka) Barone.
Joseph came to the Niagara Falls area as a child with his family.  He graduated from Trott Vocational High School, where he studied to be an electrician.   He proudly served in the United States Army in Reykjavik, Iceland from 1954 until his honorable discharge in 1956, and in the Army Reserves until his honorable discharge in 1961.  On April 7, 1956, he married Barbara J. (Stahlman) Barone in Niagara Falls, NY.   Mrs. Barone predeceased him on September 16, 2004. Joseph worked for over 60 years as an electrician, attaining his certification as a Master Electrician, prior to his retirement in the early 2000s.  Joseph was a lifelong member of the IBEW Local 237 Electrician’s Union.
In his spare time, Joseph was an avid bowler, and also enjoyed fishing and gardening, as well as growing plants and tending to his grapefruit trees.  A skilled woodworker, Joseph enjoyed working with his hands – he was extremely diligent, hardworking and always willing to help those who needed it.  Above all, he will be remembered as a devoted husband and loving father.
Joseph is survived by his children, Michael S. Barone and Betsy L. Barone, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his wife of 43 years, he was predeceased by his siblings, Catherine (late George) Anderson, and Jean Morgan.

8321 Joseph M. Faddoul, 89, former City Treasurer of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 26, 2017.
The third of four children born to Nahem and Amelia (Solomon) Faddoul, he was a life-long resident of Niagara Falls, where he attended local schools, and then Canisius College and Niagara University.
Prior to becoming an employee of the City of Niagara Falls, he worked in the business office of International Paper Co, for some 20 years.
A member of Our Lady of Lebanon Church, he served as the parish's Business Manager for many years. He was a recipient of the Saint Joseph the Worker Award, presented by the Bishop of Buffalo, for dedicated service on the parish level. He also was President of the Our Lady of Lebanon Senior Society over several decades, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was pre-deceased by his sisters Jeannette DeBan (late Harry) and Selma Washburn (late Robert), and his brother George Faddoul (Dorothy). He is survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Chapel of OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, in the Town of Niagara. 8322 Joseph Maggi, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015 at N.F. Memorial Medical Center. Born in L’Aquila, Italy he was the son of the late Giacomo and Maria Maggi.

Joseph was educated in Italy and on November 7, 1953 he married Florence (Rizzuto) Maggi at St. Patrick’s Church in Canada. Mrs. Maggi predeceased him on May 9, 2012. Joe was a member of the Laborer’s Local Union 91 in Niagara Falls, NY and worked as a laborer at various area construction sites for more than thirty years until retiring. He was also a member of the Cristoforo Colombo Society and the Hyde Park Bocce League both in Niagara Falls, NY. One of Joseph’s greatest pleasures was spending time with his friends at McDonald’s on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls. He also enjoyed tending to his garden and playing cards.

Mr. Maggi is survived by two sons Jack (Beth) Maggi of the Town of Niagara and Joseph Maggi; two grandsons Joseph William (fiancée Kristen DeMarco) and Nicholas Anthony Maggi; two sisters Bianca Maggi and Elana Maggi both of Italy and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers.

Joseph was an extremely talented musician and conductor of the Joseph Mangione Big Band Orchestra in Niagara Falls for many years. He was also employed as a salesman locally. Joseph was a passionate woodworker and enjoyed manufacturing furniture.
Mr. Mangione is survived by his daughter, Darlene (Ken) Swierski of Las Vegas, NV; one granddaughter, Melissa (Francisco) Moreno; one great-granddaughter, Penelope; and his brother, Frank Mangione of Niagara Falls. He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Gus Mangione.

8324 Joseph N. Cutajar, Ret. NFFD, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on December 29, 2022 at Schoellkopf Health Care Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Samuel and Irene (Spatarico) Cutajar.
Joe attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School.  He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1945 until his honorable discharge in 1946, serving as a member of the Seebees in Guam.  On September 27, 1952, he married Mary (LaMarca) Cutajar in St. Joseph Church.  Joe was employed as a Truck Driver with Yarussi Construction and a Bus Driver with the NFTA.  He served as a Firefighter for 21 years with the Niagara Falls Fire Department, where he was honored with 2 Levy Awards for bravery during the course of his career.  He also worked in maintenance with Tops Markets throughout Western New York.
Joe was a member of the ISDA Cataract Lodge, the Knights of Columbus, and the Cristoforo Colombo Society.  In addition, he served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Church, was a member of the Retired Firefighters Association, was instrumental in the Niagara Falls Firefighter’s Christmas Toy Fund, and was the Past Commander of the Italian American War Veterans.  Joe was an avid golfer at Hyde Park Golf Course, bowled in various local bowling leagues, and enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and the New York Yankees.
In addition to his wife of 70 years, he is survived by his children, Lori Ann Hume (Michael Nyhan) and Samuel Cutajar (Angelina Salvatore); his grandchildren, Alyssa (Peter Maurer) Hume, Tyler Cutajar (Sara Cappellino), Joseph Cutajar, Daniella Chalfant, and Jeff Chalfant; his great-grandchildren, Ginny, Delilah, Sam, Sophia, and Savannah, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was the brother-in-law of Nora (late Roy) LaMarca, and Alida (late Anthony) LaMarca, and Joseph (Felicia) LaMarca and the son-in-law of the late James and Pauline (Catania) LaMarca.  He was predeceased by his nephews, Paul and John LaMarca.

8326 Joseph P. Sansone, age 74, of Tonawanda, died Friday, November 11, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer. Born September 30, 1942 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late Frank and Concetta (nee Lojacono) Sansone and was a graduate of Lafayette High School, Class of 1961. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Joe's career in retail management spanned 54 years and included president of Metzger's La-Z-Boy Showcase and culminated with 15 years at Kenny Carpets on Sheridan Drive.

He was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Wein) Sansone; loving brother of Loretta (late Paul) Schlagter, Russell (Anne) Sansone and Gloria (Richard) Bemben; cherished nephew of Marian (late Bernard) Sadowski; cool uncle of Christina, Joseph, Rick, Paula, Lisa, and Richard; devoted great uncle of Francisco, Fernando, Cassandra, Russell, Emmalee, James, Alexis, and Victor IV.

Born in Solon, Maine on December 9, 1928; son of the late John and Ida May (Briton) Berube. He came to Western New York in 1950, and was united in marriage to Phyllis M. Hamann, on May 6, 1951. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2015. Joseph served in the United States Air Force, from 1947-1949. He was employed as an electrician at Spaulding Fibre in Tonawanda. Joseph was a long time member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Shawnee, where he had served on the council, building and grounds, and an usher. 8328 Joseph R. Craig, of Niagara Falls, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at home. He was 40 years old.
Joseph was born in Niagara Falls, New York on August 13, 1981, the son of Robert J. Craig of Niagara Falls and the late Janice (Paonessa) Craig.
Following his graduation from High School, he traveled with his father for various construction jobs. After returning home, he attended NCCC and graduated from SUNY of Fredonia with a bachelor’s degree in Digital Media and Photography. There, he received multiple awards for his talents and work.
 
Joe was employed by Niagara Gutter and Occidental Chemical Corporation. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time writing music, expanding his photography skills and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. His most cherished times were those spent with his son, Daxton.

In addition to his father, Robert and son Daxton, he is survived by his sister, Sara Craig and many friends & extended family members.

Joe was a 1958 graduate of Niagara Falls High School.  He later earned his Bachelors of Science Degree from Buffalo State College.  In 1963, he married Marilyn J. (Colosi) DiPasquale.  Mrs. DiPasquale predeceased him on August 4, 2024.  Joe was employed as a Risk Manager with Occidental Chemical in Niagara Falls, NY and in Texas, and later in the same capacity with elf Petroleum in Philadelphia, PA and Totel SA in New Jersey.  Joe enjoyed traveling and dining out with his wife, as well as coin and stamp collecting, as well as spending time doing activities at the clubhouse in the community in which he resided.  He was a member of Saint Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church in Winter Haven, FL.
Joseph is survived by his son, Anthony (Jennifer) DiPasquale; his grandchildren, A.J. 8330 Joseph V. Condino, 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 6, 2022. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late James and Rose (Venturelli) Condino.
Joseph was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Michigan State University in 1944.
On November 14, 1944, Joseph enlisted in the United States Army and served throughout the Philippines and Japan during World War II. He proudly represented his country at the Battle of Luzon earning him the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. Following his discharge in 1946, he was also awarded the World War II Victory Medal, Philippines Liberation Ribbon, Army of Occupation Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Joseph returned to Niagara Falls and was employed at Bell Aerospace serving as a union steward. He began his 25-year teaching career in Social Studies at Lew-Port High School. He finished his teaching career at Niagara Wheatfield High School where he coached the men’s varsity golf team.
Joseph was an excellent athlete and excelled in football, basketball and baseball during his younger years. He was an avid golfer and won numerous championships including the Niagara Falls City Championship. Joseph was also an accomplished bowler, a longtime member of the Masters Bowling League, as well as a passionate New York Yankees fan. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Above all, Mr. Condino especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mr. Condino is survived by his beloved wife, Sue (nee Boots) Condino; his son, Vincent (Debra, Esq.) Condino; three grandchildren, Kimberly (Michael) Breiner, Jeffrey Condino and Katherine Condino; his great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Ryland Breiner; two brothers, James (Judy) Condino and Richard (Darlene) Condino, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Albert (Nadia) Condino.

8331 Joseph “Brad” Phillips, 74, of the Town of Niagara, NY, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, under the loving care of his family and Niagara Hospice in the comfort of his own home. Born in Philipsburg, PA, he was the cherished son of the late Carl and Doris (Marien) Phillips.
Brad, as he was known as by his family and friends, moved with his parents to Niagara Falls as a child, where he would go on to graduate from Niagara-Wheatfield High School, Class of 1968. In 1970, he was proudly drafted into the United States Army and honorably served his country until his discharge.
On September 30, 1972, he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara (Delgrolice) Phillips, at Niagara Presbyterian Church. Brad was a former member of the Niagara #1 Fire Company. He found great joy in hunting, fishing, bowling, and cheering on his beloved Cleveland Browns. Brad's life was defined by his passions and unwavering love for his family. He adored playing games with his grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with his loved ones.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by their children, Tina (Dale) Bolam, Michael (Jennifer) Phillips and Rochelle (Jerry) Skurski; his grandchildren, Alexis and Amber Bolam, and Jacob and Parker Phillips; his mother-in-law, Helen (late Nicholas) Delgrolice; his aunt, Ruth (late Merril) Jones; brother-in-law, Nicholas Delgrolice, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Duane Delgrolice.

8333 Josephine (Paonessa) Marcucci, 95 of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center after a brief Illness. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 3, 1921 to the late Addie (Buzzelli) and Joseph Paonessa. A Niagara Falls native she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. Josephine worked at Kimberly Clark for over thirty years until it closed. Her pastimes included, baking and spending time with her family. After her retirement, Josephine also enjoyed spending time at the Duke Center.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen A. Marcucci and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband the late Angelo Marcucci and her brother the late Anthony J. Paonessa, Army Air Corps who was killed in action during WWII. There will be no prior visitation. 8334 Josephine A. (Ciccone) Colosi passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 28th, 2021. 
Josephine was born May 17th, 1929 in Carbondale, PA to the late John and Mary (Mercurio) Ciccone.  She moved to Niagara Falls, NY with her family when she was in high school.  While working at Kimberly Clark she met the love of her life, the late Mariano “Joe” Colosi.  They were married at St. Joseph’s Church on June 26th, 1948.  During their 56 years of marriage, before Joe’s passing, they happily raised their four children. 
Josephine went on to work at Tops Markets in Lewiston, and then B-Kwik on 74th and Pine Ave for 32 years, in the meat department before retiring in 1996.
Josephine showed her love through her cooking.  She was always willing to feed anyone that came to her house.  Her house forever smelled like an Italian restaurant.  
Josephine was a member of the Volare Lodge #269, Socialites of Our Lady of Mt Carmel, and the Dukes Center.  She enjoyed many laughs and creating memories while playing card and bowling with her close friends. 
Josephine was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills. 
Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s sports games, dance recitals and concerts.  
Josephine was the loving mother of Rosanna Colosi, Marylou (Phillip) Weaver, Joseph (Julie) Colosi, and Rene (Michael) Marinucci; dearest grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one more on the way; beloved sister of Louise Rotella, and the late Antoinette Pardini, Rosella Panattoni, Angelo Ciccone, John Ciccone, Gerard Ciccone, Alfred Ciccone and Frank Ciccone. She is also survived by her first cousin and best friend, Gloria Fracassi, and was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will miss her dearly.

8335 Josephine Campana, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Josephine was the cherished daughter of the late Giuseppe and Carmelena (Meli) Alongi.
Josephine moved with her family from Brooklyn as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. On December 26, 1953, she married the love of her life, Eugene Campana Sr., at St. Joseph's Church. Josephine was the supervisor of the former D & K Stores on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls for many years, a position she adored. She later retired from Toy Liquidators.
Josephine and Eugene shared a passion for horses, racing their thoroughbreds throughout Fort Erie Race Track and Woodbine Racetrack both located in Canada. Josephine enjoyed frequenting the Casino, but her greatest joy came from the time spent with her family, whom she cherished every moment with. Her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In addition to her husband of 71 years, she is survived by her two children, Eugene Jr. (Margaret) Campana and Cynthia (Larry) Marano; her cherished granddaughter, Elizabeth (William) Bradford; her sister, Lilyan (late Robert) Buresch and her brother-in-law, Natalino (Inez) Campana, as well as many dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three siblings, Carmella (late James) Bruno, Vito (late Hilkka) Alongi and Anthony (her best friend, Corrine) Alongi, as well as his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pearl (late Joe) Cimino, Mario ‘Bo’ (late Lena) Campana and Albert 'Albe' (late Patricia) Campana.

8336 Josephine Fura Ketch was born on March 4, 1925, and left us on August 5, 2018.
Josephine, the second youngest of ten children, was born in Niagara Falls, NY, and attended a one room schoolhouse, from which she graduated in 1943.
At the age of 22, she married John Ketch and had one son, Gary. They lived in Pendleton, NY, where they raised, showed and sold Arabian show horses for over 25 years. She then sold real estate for five years before retiring to Sun City West (SCW), AZ in 1984.
In Sun City West, she and John were both very active in the Lawn Bowls Club and the Senior Olympics. After John's passing in 2007, Josephine lived at The Madison Independent Living in SCW until she had a stroke in 2016, which caused her to lose her short term memory.
Josephine leaves behind one son, Gary (Bernadette); and many nieces and nephews, many still living in the Niagara Frontier of Western New York.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Gardens of Sun City, who provided loving care to Josephine for almost two years.

(Donato) Tedesco, 96 years old, passed away on December 31, 2020.  She was born in Niagara Falls on March 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria (DeFazio) Donato.​​Josephine attended local schools.  She worked as a clerk for the New York State Parks and Recreation Department at the Cave of the Winds for 40 years and retired at the age of 86.  Josephine enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Tedesco who passed away on January 16, 2003.  Her family wishes to thank all the nieces and nephews for their care and concern; and Josephine's caregivers for all of their care and compassion.​Josephine is survived by her son, Thomas D. 8339 Josephine M. Guetta, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on October 12, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY surrounded by her family.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Palillo) Gagliardo.
Josephine attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1944, where she was a cheerleader.  She married Anthony R. Guetta on October 12, 1947 at St. Joseph’s Church.  Mr. Guetta predeceased her in 1962.  Josephine was employed in the Dietary Department at The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and also worked as a store clerk at J.C. Penney’s.
Josephine was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Purgatorio, Madonna del Carmine, Madonna del Perpetuo Soccorso, Fatima, and St. Joseph’s Senior Societies.  In addition, she was very active in the St. Joseph’s Mother’s Club as well as at the former Bishop Duffy High School whilst her children were attending those schools. She was also a member of the Red Hatter’s Society, and enjoyed cooking. Josephine was a dedicated caregiver and a beautiful person with a heart of gold.  Above all her life centered around her family.
Mrs. Guetta is survived by her children, Ralph (Kathi) Guetta, Anthony (Paula) Guetta, and Michael (Anne Marie) Guetta; her grandchildren, Amanda Guetta, Todd Guetta (Alexandra Bazzani), Ralph Guetta II (Fiancee Sandy Thomas), Tony (Shanna) Guetta, Danielle (Neal) Urban Christina (Mike) Mastroianni, Marie (Robert) Cushman and Michael Guetta; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Collin Guetta, Julia and Elena Guetta, Adriana, Dominic, and Vincent Mastroianni, and Leah and Rose Cushman; her siblings, Antoinette (Guido) Fontanarosa and Armando (Jeannette) Pucci, her sister-in-law, Theresa Gagliardo as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Guetta and her siblings, Anthony Gagliardo and Yolanda “Patty” (late Robert Sr.) Hargrave.

Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Catherine (Cervola) Baio; and beloved wife of the late August Moceri, whom she married at St. Joseph Church in 1950.
Josephine was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was employed by the N.F. Board of Education as a cook for many years prior to her retirement while serving at Harry F. Abbott school.
Josephine was devout Catholic and lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Cristoforo Colombo Society.
In her free time, she enjoyed going to the Casino, getting a pedicure, watching gameshows, as well as rooting for the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. Josephine was also a talented cake decorator in her younger years. Above all, Mrs. Moceri centered her life around her family who will miss her immensely. 
Mrs. Moceri is survived by her children, Gerald (late Susan) Moceri, David (Lenore) Moceri, Carol (Paul) Luzzi, Kenny (Laura Martin-Moceri) Moceri; her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Cara, Paul, Rachel, Tyler; six great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph (late Rose) Baio, Angie (late Joseph) Simone and Annabelle (Julian) Grana.

8341 Josephine ‘Babe’ T. Cerrone, 95, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at her residence while under the care of Niagara Hospice.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Anna (Mancuso) Demico.
Josephine attended local schools, and her greatest joy was her family.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a loving friend to many.  She was always there for everyone when they needed her most, offering support, guidance, and unconditional love.  Her generosity was boundless.  Josephine was a blessing to every life she touched and helped to create eternal memories for her family and friends.
On November 18, 1950, she married Americo Vincent Cerrone at St Joseph’s Church in Niagara Falls.   Mr. Cerrone predeceased her on June 23, 1996 after 45 years of marriage.  Josephine was employed by the Niagara Falls City School District as a cafeteria cashier from September 24, 1976, until her retirement on June 30, 2001.  In her leisure time, she enjoyed working in her flower garden, cooking, spending time with friends, and her loyal dog Tony.  She was a devoted member of St. Raphael’s Church (formally St Theresa’s Church) in Niagara Falls, but above all, she enjoyed the time spent with her extended family.
Josephine is survived by her two children, Vincent (Gina Appoloney) Cerrone of Youngstown, NY and Anthony Cerrone of Niagara Falls, NY.  She was pre-deceased by her two sons, Mark (Candice) Cerrone and David Cerrone and her brother, Anthony (Elizabeth) Demico.  She is also survived by her niece, Joanne (Dr. Brijendra) Gupta, and her nephew John (Deborah) Demico.
She was a loving grandmother to Michelle Cerrone, Elana Cerrone, Christina (Steve) Pecoraro, Lauren Cerrone, Angela (John) Marcolini, and the late Gina Cerrone Piwowarczyk as well as to several great grandchildren.  Also left to cherish her memory are her aunt, Phyllis Ann (Fred) Baron, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Patricia Scalzo and all of the care givers who treated Josephine like family over the past several years.

8342 Joshua M. 'Jiffy' Johnson, age 18, of Wilson, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston. Joshua was born on March 13, 1998 in Lewiston, the son of Darryl C. and Jeanine (DeBiase) Johnson of Wilson. Raised in Wilson, Joshua was a 2016 graduate of Wilson High School and was attending Alfred State University pursuing a degree in the Building Trades.
He was a member of the Cambria Boy Scout Troop 8 and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout this past May 16th. While at Wilson High School he was an avid member of the Soccer Team. Joshua also was a lifeguard at the Wilson Community Enhancement Charity. He enjoyed spending time with his father doing excavation work and operating heavy equipment, hunting and fishing. He loved his time at Alfred studying Building and Mechanics. Joshua along with his family are members of St. Brendan on the Lake RC Church in Wilson.
In addition to his parents, Darryl and Jeanine, Joshua is survived by his brother, Patrick; his grandmothers, Sonja DeBiase and Barbara Johnson; his aunts and uncles, Sue Sheldon, Jay (Sheri) and Richard (Tara) Johnson, James K. Donald V. Wagner, 81, of Lafayette, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at Home Hospital
He was born on April 1, 1924, in Wolcott. On April 14, 1956, he married Beatrice Cyr, and she survives.
He farmed in the Wolcott and Remington areas for 50 years. After retiring, he earned his realty license and sold real estate in the Lafayette area.
Mr. Wagner served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral, and had been a 60-year member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Remington. He also was a member of Lafayette Board of Realtors, American Legion, Tippecanoe County Conservation, Catholic Order of Foresters and Lafayette Serra Club. He was an avid golfer, working at Purdue Golf Course and most recently at the Municipal Golf Course.
Surviving with his wife are three sons, John Wagner (wife: Pam) of Racine, Wis., Jody Wagner (wife: Kerri) of Lafayette and Albert Wagner (wife: Nancy) of Easton, Conn.; three daughters, Jennifer Kerkes of Indianapolis, Colleen Nordyke (Husband: John) of West Hartford, Conn., and Jolleen Gray (husband: Cliff) o Sierra Vista, Ariz.; and four sisters, Lucille Perkins of Kentland, Helen Perry (husband: Bill) of Kentland, Evelyn Harris of Remington and Margaret Limp of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Donald V. Wagner, 81, of Lafayette, died at 10:40 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at Home Hospital
He was born on April 1, 1924, in Wolcott. On April 14, 1956, he married Beatrice Cyr, and she survives.
He farmed in the Wolcott and Remington areas for 50 years. After retiring, he earned his realty license and sold real estate in the Lafayette area.
Mr. Wagner served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War.

8348 Joyce Carol Schroeder, age 89 of Wheatfield, NY, and formerly of Bergholz, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, on August 1, 2024 while at the Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 26, 1934; daughter of the late Herbert "Harvey" and Ruth (Goerss) Milleville. A graduate of Niagara Falls High School, she had taught kindergarten at Holy Ghost Lutheran School, was employed at the Carborundum Company, and later with the New York State Power Authority. Joyce was a long time member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Bergholz, and was a member of the Parent Teachers League. She was also a past union steward with the IBEW. Joyce enjoyed traveling to Florida, California and Nevada; was a Buffalo Bills fan, collected glass figurines, and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She was an advocate and supported children with special needs. Survivors include three children, Sherryl (Ronald) Rimer of Grand Island, Christie (Michael) Scive of Sanborn, and Michael Schroeder (Melanie Pedersen) of Wilson; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Andrew, and Matthew Scive, Alina Jack, Robert Schroeder, Jennifer Baney and Jessica Lewis; two step-grandchildren, Isabel and Sophia Pedersen; great-grandchildren, Joshua Cheff, Simeon and Titus Baney, Gus and Ruthie Lewis. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl Schroeder in 1972; and a son, Kenneth Schroeder in 2010. A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. Denton White, on Friday (August 9) at 7:00 p.m. in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield. of Barker, NY wife of the late John M Dewart went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Absolut Care of Gasport. Daughter of the late Berry and Pauline Arnold Pask. Joyce was born in Barker, NY May 16, 1932. She was a graduate of Barker Central School. She was a long time member of West Somerset Baptist Church and Barker Seniors. Joyce (Nana) loved her family and all the good times she had with them. Mother of Jeffrey (Michelle) Dewart of Barker, NY, Judith (Mark) Remington of Barker, NY, James (Cathy) Dewart of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jay (Angelia) Dewart of Spartenburg, SC, Jonathan (Amy) Dewart of Barker, NY and Jacqueline (Shawn Darlington)  Dewart of Williamsville, NY. Sister in law of Margaret (late George) Hoerner, Martha (Larry) Stokoe, and the late Frank King. Sister of of Bev (Carl) Martin and Duane (Barbara) Pask. 8350 JOYCE EMILY WITKOP, age 90, was called to her heavenly home on December 24, 2018 at Sheridan Manor, Town of Tonawanda, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 9, 1928; daughter of the late Elwin and Mildred (Adams) Collins, of Ransomville. Joyce was united in marriage to Robert B. Witkop, of Pekin, on September 17, 1949, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, in North Tonawanda, where they remained lifelong members. Joyce had worked for National Grinding Wheel, in North Tonawanda, and also at the Sparella Garment Factory, in Niagara Falls, for a short time. Later in life, she enjoyed working for many local farmers, harvesting their fruits and vegetables. Joyce is survived by her husband, and was predeceased by a sister, Louise Small, of Amherst. Friends are invited to attend a service, conducted by the Rev. Ernest Green, on Friday (December 28) at 7:00 p.m. in the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield.
