Winter, pastor, on Saturday at 11 o'clock, uniting in marriage Miss Eileen Ann Bishop and Lt. (jg) James Haskell. The bride Is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. William J. Bishop of 186 Price St and Lt Is the son of Mrs Roy T of 11 Bewley Pkwy. The bride chose a ballerina- type dress of champagne colored nylon net over taffeta, fashioned with a sweetheart neckline. She wore a bonnet hat with a shoul- der-length veil of illusion and car- ried a Colonial bouquet of white carnations and rosebuds. ATTENDANT WEARS CORAL The maid of honor. Miss Vir- ginia Haskell, sister of the groom, wore a coral dress, also in bal- lerina style, of net and satin with a headpiece of illusion. she car- ried talisman rosebuds and white chrysanthemums in a Colonial bouquet. Robert W. Bishop was best man. The bride's mother wore a brown crepe dress, trimmed with matching velvet, and a corsag e of white camelias. Mrs. Haskell wore a royal blue tissue faille dress with a corsage of pink roses. Dinner was served to the im- mediate families at Green Acres, Burt, where the table was cen- tered with yellow and white chrysanthemums. Later a recep- tion was held to approximately 500 guests in the Park Hotel, where yellow chrysanthemums were used in decorations. LEAVE FOR FLORIDA The Couple left to motor to Pan- ama City Fla., where they will make their home. For traveling, the bride wore a flame-colored crepe dress with a winter white hat and yellow rose corsage. She wore a beige coat in princess style, trimmed with beaver.. The bride is a graduate of Lock- port High School and St. Jo- seph's Business School. The groom, a graduate of Lockport High School and New York State Maritime Academy, attended Uni- versity of Kentucky. Chase, 76, of 492 Walnut St., partner in a local window cleaning firm, died Monday evening (Jan. 2, 1967) in Lockport Memorial Hospital after a three-month illness. She was the widow of Glenn W. Chase, who died in 1945. He was the founder of the Service Window Cleaning Co., and since his death she has been a partner in the firm. Born Dec. 28, 1890 in t he Town of Hartland, she was the daughter of Charles and Bertha Berndt Hofert, and had lived in Lockport most of her life. She was a member of Companions of Foresters L o d g e, Women's Benefit Association and the Senior Citizens. She is survived by a daughter. Mrs. Charles O. Tall; two grandchildren, Charles D. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Wilbur L. Burns and Mrs Raymond F. Alexnader; one brother, Walter H. Brockman; and a grandson, Keith Rae Alex ander, all of Lockport. The Rev. Samuel L. Lombardo, pastor officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Yanicki of 4283 Purdy Road. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lowe of Ridge Road, Lockport, are the par- ents of the groom. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of rosepoint lace fashioned with a scalloped neckline, fit- ted bodice and long tapered sleeves. The bouffant skirt of rosepoint lace was floor-length. Her jeweled queen's crown caught her fingertip veil of nylon illusion and she car- ried a white missal adorned with tiara roses and feathered white carnations. SISTER ATTENDS Miss Judy Yanicki attended her sister as maid of honor in a floor - length gown of an- tique gold satin taffeta fash- ioned with a high scooped neckline, long tapered sleeves and a semi - bell skirt. She carried a white satin and lace muff adorned with golden garnet roses and featured white carnations, tipped in blue. Identically attired but in royal blue was the bridesmaid, Miss Sandra Carlin. Attending the groom as best man was Willard Lamb of Hudson, N.Y. Serving as ush- er was Gordon Bloom of Lock- port. Mrs. Yanicki attended her daughter's wedding in a pale green print dress enhanced with moss green accessories. She completed her ensemble with golden garnette roses and white feathered carna- tions. Mrs. Lowe, mother of the groom, chose a print dress of orchid, green and brown and added green accessories. Her corsage of golden garnette roses and white feathered car- nations completed tume. RECEPTION The wedding breakfast was held at Wally's Restaurant, Wright's Corners, where the reception followed. The focal point of the bride's table was a four - tiered wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom and flanked by ar- rangements of yellow roses and pompons and blue carna- tions. Music for dancing was supplied by Danny King's or- chestra. Upon their return from their Canadian wedding trip, the couple will reside at 182 N. Mrs. Bradley was a lifelong member of Fillmore Methodist Chapel, where she taught Sunday School for more than 40 years, and a life member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and the Youth Temperance Council. Banta, 58. was found dead In a chair in his Coomer Road home at 3 o'clock this morning. Relatives said Mr. Banta was in apparent good health Monday but had been under a physician's cart for several weeks. His wife, Mrs. Gratia Madden Banta, and a son, Thomas R. Banta, said they retired about 10 o'clock, leaving Mr. Banta reading in' a chair m the living room. At 3 o'clock the son awakened and found his father dead. - Mr. Banta, a native of Buffalo, was the son of the late Dr. Rollin L. and Sarah Ayer Banta. After attending the University of Michigan. University of Buffalo and Michigan Military Academy, Mr. Banta became a farmer on the Coomer Road In 1915. During World War I he was captain of the Newfane Home Defense Reserve. He wag appointed postmaster by President Roosevelt In 1933. He was a member of Newfane Lodge 947 FAM and Alpha Delta Phi fraternity at the University of Michigan. Other survivors include a son, John S. Banta. attending Cornell University; a daughter. Miss Barbara Banta, Delray Beach, Fla.: and a brother, George J. Banta, Conewango Valley. He was born Nov. 28, 1892 in Newfane, a son of Senton and Ella Godfrey Bullard. On Nov, 24, 1915 he married Emma Mil- ler in Newfane. Mr Bullard was a mechanic. From 1921 to 1934 he operated his own business as a motor me- chanic in Lockport. In 1941 he went to work at Simonds Saw and Steel, Lockport, as a lever man and retired in 1957. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lockport, a past member of the Elks and the Eagles in Lockport and IOOF Lodge, Newfane. The Rev. R. E. Malte officiated at the ceremony before the altar decorated with yellow and white chrysanthemums and gladioli. BRIDE WEARS TULLE Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white waltz- length gown of tulle. The bodice was of white lace, trimmed with sequins, and fashioned with long sleeves. The skirt featured a pleat- ed front with an apron of lace in the front and a panel of lace in the back. A crown of pearls and sequins held her double illusion French net fingertip veil. She car- ried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and yellow roses. Mrs. Robert Wollenberg, Middleport, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and the other attendants were Miss Shirley Schultz, and Mrs. Richard Cornelius, both of Wilson. The three attendants wore Identical gowns of turquoise taffeta, ballerina-length. They carried bouquets of bronze and yellow carnations. Norman Bruning, Middleport, was best man and ushers were Robert Braun, Middleport, cousin of the bridegroom, and Robert McCollum, Lockport. Additional attendants were Robert Wollenberg and Robert Turrell, both of Middleport. A wedding cake, white candles in crystal holder; and vases of mixed autumn flowers decorated the table. Walter Weber's orchestra provided music. As the pride left with her husband for a trip through the New England States, she was wearing a gun metal gray linen suit with red accessories. The couple will reside at Hunter Rd., Middleport on their return. Out-of-town guests were from Buffalo, North Tonawanda, Albion, Rochester and Medina. Brado, 73, widow of Charles Brado, Molyneaux Corners, who was found dead in her home on Wednesday, were held at 2:30 this afternoon at the Prudden Funeral home, 242 Genesee street. Burial was made in North Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Brado, who lived alone, did her washing on Tuesday and was apparently stricken with an acute heart attack a short time later, according to Dr. John P.
