Crewe-Steinbrenner
The marriage of Miss Lila M
Steinbrenner, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. G. J. Steinbrenner, Pierce avenue,
and Mr. Richard A. Crewe,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Crewe.
Model City, took place July 12, at
St. Paul's Evangelical church, Cleveland
avenue and Eighteenth street,
with the Rev. L. M. Ludwig. D.D.
officiating
The church was decorated with
summer flowers softly accented with
candlelight. Mr. Patrick Toohey.
s o l o i s t -and Mrs William Wood-
man. at the organ, provided the
musical setting.
The bride given in marriage by her
father, wore a white silk marquesette
down with lace bodice and full
train/ Her four tiered silk net veil
fell from a tiera of lace encrusted
with lillies-of-the-valley design. She
carried a cascade of white roses
and lillies-of-the-valley contered
with an orchid.
Mrs. Richard Carr was the matron
of honor. Miss Edna Crewe and
Mrs. Perry Kanipe wee junior
bridesmaids and also Barbarba
Griffith and Joan Vanden Bosch.
Mr. Howar Crewe was the best
man with Mr. Richard Carr, Mr.
John Wiseman, Mr. Howard Schulz
and Mr. Mathew Toohey, ushers.
The reception was held at the
Prospect House.
The couple left by motor on a
trip through the New England
states. The bride traveled in a black
and white print with matching ac-
cessories. Her corsage was of orchids.
