Brydges-Weber
One of the lovely early autumn
weddings was solemnized Saturday
evening. September 16 when Miss
Violet O. Weber became the bride
of Mr. Gerald Brydges at an impressive
ceremony at the home of
the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Weber, of Thirty-sixth street.
The bridegroom Is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Arthur Brydges, of Wil-
low avenue. The Rev. Arthur
Schmoyer officiated at the service.
Beautiful flowers were used to
decorate the entire house.
The bride wore a becoming gown
of loganberry chiffon velvet with
gold accessories. With this she
wore a corsage of pale peach rose
buds, gardenias and baby's breath.
Miss Jean McLellan, maid of
honor and only attendant, wore a
blue chiffon velvet gown with white
accessories. Her corsage was of
pink rose buds and mixed garden
flowers.
Mr. John Seranni was the best
man. The bride's mother wore a
gown of blue print and the mother
of the bridegroom chose a gown of
rose crepe.
Immediately following the cere-
mony there was a reception and
wedding supper. The bride's table
was centered with a three-tier wed-
ding cake topped with a miniature
bride and bridegroom.
After a wedding trip Mr. and
Mrs. Brydges will reside at 626
Thirty-sixth street. The pre-
nuptials were given by Miss Jean
McLellan, Mrs. Mary Wahl. Mrs.
Lorraine Wahl will entertain for
the bride in October.
