The marriage of Laura Chesbro.
of 1552 Willow avenue, to Henry
Alles, of 3120 Highland avenue, took
place Saturday afternoon at the
home df Rev. G H. Ziemer. pastor
of the St. Paul's Evangelical! Lutheran
church.
The ceremony took place beside a
charmingly decorated Christmas
tree, erected in the parsonage.
The bride wore a Suez colored
gown, fashioned on Princess lines
with a rhinestone clasp at the neck.
Her flowers were a corsage of sal-
mon rosebuds mingled with baby's
breath and terns.
The-maid-of-honor-was Mar-
garet Goulah, friend of the bride,
She wore a teal colored gown, also
fashioned on Princess lines, with
matching accessories.
Norman Alles. brother of the
groom, was best man.
The newly-wedded couple was
given a very lovely wedding supper,
prepared by Mrs. Charles J. Schul,
of Porter road, aunt of the groom.
Those who attended the supper,
besides the wedding party were: Mr.
and Mrs. Charles J. Schul, Mr. and
Mrs. Frank L. Flay, Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Schul and Mr. and Mrs. Rob-
ert E. Smith.
The couple will leave shortly for
Ayton. Ontario, to visit the groom's
parents. Mr. and Mrs John Alles.
