One of the prettiest of the fall weddings
was solemnized in St. Mary's
church Saturday morning, October 6,
at 9 o'clock when "Miss Thelma Ols-
camp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Olscamp, of Campbellton, N.
B-, became- the bride of Michael M.
Brass, son of the late Mr.. and Mrs.
Michael M. Brass, of this city. The.
Rev. O. F. Killeen performed the wedding
ceremony, which was followed
by a nuptial high mass. The altar was
beautifully decorated with gladoll and
fall flowers.
The bride wore a simple gown of
white velvet, with hat to match, and
carried an arm bouquet of gardenias
and lllks-of-the-valley. Her only
attendant was her sister, Miss Stella
Olscamp, wearing a gown of Magnotta
velvet with matching hat. She carried
an arm bouquet of pompoms and
talisman rosea.
The best man was Louis Kalsch, of
Lockport.
Following che ceremony a wedding
breakfast was served at the Red
Coach Inn for the immediate families.
"After a motor trip to Montreal,
Quebec and Campbellton, N. B., Mr.
and Mrs. Braas will be at home at
439 Fourth street.
Pre-nuptlal parties Included a variety
shower glvtn by Miss Alice Braas;
a crystal shower by Mrs. Arthur Hill,
Miss Inez Murphy and Miss Helen
Troy; a linen shower-by Mrs. Thomas
Dolan; a kitchen shower by Miss
Helen Beaton and a linen shower
given by Mrs. Nicholas Brass and Miss
Mary Braas.
