Lutheran Church in Walmore for
the wedding of Miss Mabel Louise
DeVantier and Leonard Herbert
Beutel.
Chaplain Eugene Beutel of Fort
George Meade, Baltimore, per-

marriage the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. William J. DeVantier, Lock-
port Rd., Niagara Falls, and the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Beu-
tel, Lockport Rd., Sanborn. Paul
Mehls sang the "Lord's Prayer"
and "O Lord We At Thine Altar
Stand."
Give in marriage by her fath-

tilly lace and satin trimmed with
iridescent sequins, with an illusion
neckline and lace collar. The bod-
ice was fitted to a gathered skirt
of lace with inserts of pleated tulle
which fell into a cathedral-length
train. Her headpiece, a pill box
hat of lace and tulle trimmed with
beading, was caught to a finter-
tip scalloped illlusion veil. She car-
ried white carnations and lilies-of-
the-valey centered with a white
orchid.
Miss Elaine DeVantier, maid-of-
honor for her sister, wore a rain-
bow gown with a bodice of white
lace and overskirts over a slip of
tulle. She wore a bonnet effect of
pleated lace with tulle and face
veils and carried a heart-shaped
bouquet of carnations.
The bridesmaids, Miss Alice
Retzlaff, Miss Carol Beutel, and
Mrs. LaVern Haseley, were simi-
larly attired and carried heart-
shaped bouquets of carnations.
Carolyn Mueller was the flower
girl.
James Morgan attended the
bridegroom as best man, and ush-
ers were Kenneth Wittkopp, Leon-
ard Walck, and Philip Haseley.
The mother of the bride wore a
rose colored dress with white ac-
cessories and a corsage of white
carnations. The bridegroom's
mother selected a blue dress with
white accessories and also wore a
corsage of white carnations.
Wedding bells and flowers dec-
orated the Bergholtz fire hall
where a reception was given for
friends and relatives.
Traveling, the bride wore a blue
suit with pink and white accesso-
ries. After a trip to the Adiron-
dacks and the Thousand Islands
the couple will live in Lockport.
