8ANBORN, Nov. 7A very pretty
wedding was solemnized Svinday.
October 30, at 2:30 o'clock at St
Peter's Lutheran church, Walmore.
when Miss Norma Walck. daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Walck, of
Sanborn, was united in marriage
to Hubert Pfohl, son of Mrs. Elsie
Pfohl of the Lockport road. The
Rev. Edward Granban officiated.
The bride wore a lace-trimmed
white satin dress, with a long train
Her long lace-trimmed tulle veil
had a heart shaped insert at the
bottom and was fastened hy a lace
cap trimmed with pearls and orange
blossoms. She carried a bouquet of
lillles, roses and lillies-of-the-val-
ley,
Miss Eleanor De Vantler of Bergholtz
was maid of honor, she wore a
gown of dubonnct pink satin, and
carried talisman rases and pompoms.
Miss Irma Walck. a bridesmaid,
was dressed In blue satin and her
bouquet was of pink roses and pompoms.
Miss Lillian De Vantler.
another brldemald. wore a gown of
old rose satin and carried yellow
roses and pompoms Emily Walck.
sister of the bride, was Junior
brJdcmald She waj dressed In aqua
blue satin and her bouquet consisted
of yellow roses and pompoms.
The bride's attendants wore
floral head ornaments to match
their dresses,
Erwln Pfohl, b r o t h e r of the
groom, acted as best man and the other
attendants were Ben Walrk.
Jr., and D o n a l d Wendl Alton
Wendl and Edward Walck were
ushers.
Following the ceremony, a reception
was held for 100 guests at
the home of the bride.
The couple later left on an extended
trip in Pennsylvania.
Washington. D. C. and other cities
They will be home after November
12.
Prenuptial events included variety
showers by Mrs. Edward Walck and
Mm. Alton Wendt and Mrs. William
Wendt. J r .
