At St. Martin's
LOCKPORT. Dec. 3In a beautiful
candlelight ceremony at St.
Martin's Lutheran church. Miss
Helen Marguerite Thiele, daughter
of Mrs. Helena Thiele and the late
Henry Thiele, ST., Shawnee road,
was united in marriage to Mr. Gordon
Louis Haseley. son of Mr. and
Mrs. Louis Haseley, Lockport road.
The Rev, Theophllus Berner officiated.
The bride was lovely u she walked
down the aisle alone, wearing
a gown of chantllly lace, fashioned
princess style. The fitted bodice
with a sweetheart neckline was
embroidered with bugle beads and
pearls With tiny buttons extending
'from the neckline to the dropped
waistline. She carried a orescent
of gardenias centered -with an orchid.
Miss Irene Thiele, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor wearing
desert green velveteen with sweetheart
neckline. She carried a heart
shaped bouquet of baby mums, yellow-
daisies and talisman roses. In
magenta rose velveteen were the
three bridesmaids, Miss Phyllis
Bracken, Miss Ruth Haseley and
Miss Melva Sattelberg. They carried
heart shaped bouquets.
Miss Jean Swetland, soloist, of
New York City, was accompanied
by Mrs. Ada Prohaska, organist.
Following the ceremony, a wed-
ding dinner was served to 200 guests
In the church dining room. . A reception
followed at .the home of
the bride's mother.
Later In the evening the bride
and groom left for a wedding trip
motoring to Mexico and through
the south. Upon their return the
couple will make' their home with
the groom's parents until the completion
of their new home In the
Lockport road, Lockport.
