St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran
church was the scene of a lovely
wedding on Saturday afternoon,
September 12 at 3 o'clock, when
Miss Janice May Werth, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Werth,
Jr., became the bride of Mr. Kermit
A. Haseley, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Hubert Haseley. The Rev. G. H.
Ziemer officiated before an altar
decorated with palms and baskets
of white gladioli.
Preceding the ceremony, Mr.
Paul Mehls sang "Because" and
"I Love You Truly" accompanied
by Mrs. William Woodman at the
organ.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, was lovely
in a gown of white dutchess satin,
fashioned on princes lines with a
sweetheart neckline and a long
flowing train. Her fingertip veil
of tulle was caught by a tiara of
pearls and rhinestones. she car-
ried an arm bouquet of white
gladioli and gardenias.
Miss Lois Frye was maid of
honor. Miss Alice Haseley, sis-
ter of the bridegroom, was brides-
maid and Miss Jeanene Werth,
cousin of the bride, was junior
bridesmaid. Miss Frye wore a
gown of pale orchid taffeta made
on princess line, with shoulder-
length veil. She wore a string of
pearls the gift of the bride and
carried a boouquet of Talisman
roses. Miss Alice Haselley wore a
gown similiar to that of the maid-
of honor. of Nile green, and also
carried Talisman roses. Little
Jeanene Werth wore a gown of
yellow taffeta trimmed with blue,
with a blue tiers She also carried
Talisman roses.
Mr Franklyn Haseley. brother of
the bridegroom. was best man and
Mr Edward J Schultz and Mr.
Alfred Haseley acted as ushers
The mother of the bride wore a
crepe spit of aviation blue with
black accessories. Her corsage was
of pink roses and gardenias. The
mother of the bridegroom wore a
brown dress with brown accessories.
Her corsage was also of pink roses
and gardinias.
After the ceremony a reception
was held at the home of the bride-
groom's parents for 150 guests. The
bride's table was centered with a
three-tiered wedding cake and dec-
orated with roses and candles.
A suit of luggage crepe and green
accessories was chosen by the
bride for traveling. Her corsage
was of gardenias.
