MISS ALICE B. RETZLAFF
and Leonard W. Walck exchanged
wedding vows
Saturday (Feb. 5, 1972) in a
2:30 service at St. Peter's
Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Sanborn. The Rev. Harold L.
Baum officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Retzlaff,
2515 Lockport Road,
Sanborn. Mr. Walck is the son
of Rudolf C. Walck, 5939
Walmore Road, Sanborn, and
the late Mrs. Walck.
For her marriage the bride
lose a princess gown of white.
peau de soie with Sabrina
neckline, lace and chiffon
bishop sleeves and a bodice of
Venise lace with pearls.
Matching lace edged the skirt.
A headpiece of beaded petals
secured her three tier illusion
veil and she carried a cascade
of white roses and stephanotis.
MAID OF HONOR, Miss
Debra C. Retzlaff, wore a ruby
red velvet sown with Dink
Venise lace trimming the high
neck and long full sleeves. She
wore a matching velvet Dior
bow with red illusion veil and
carried a cascade of pink
Sweetheart roses centered with
cranberry roses and pink baby
breath.
Similarly styled gowns were
worn by the bridesmaids, Mrs.
Kenneth Retzlaff and Miss
Lynn Walck. They carried
cascades of pink Sweetheart
roses and cranberry baby
br.eath.
Rudolf A. Walck, brother of
the bridegroom, was best man.
Kenneth Retzlaff, brother of
the bride, and Ronald Craft
were ushers.
A late afternoon reception
was held at Portage Post,
American Legion Hall.
On their return from a
wedding trip to Washington,
D.C. and the southern states
Mr. and Mrs. Walck will make
their home in Walmore Road.
