Mr. and Mrs. Philip Moll have
returned from their wedding trip
and are making their home with
Mrs. Emma Andrees, corner of
Niagara Falls boulevard and
Nash road.
Miss Emma Andrees, daughter
of Mrs. Emma Andrees became
the bride of Philip Moll, son of
Mr. and Mrs. John Moll on Saturday
aftenoon, June 5, at 4
o'clock in St. John's Evangelical
Lutheran church, the Rev. Walter
Thiemeke performing the
ceremony, before a large assemblage
of relatives and friends,
using the double ring ceremony.
The church was beautifully decorated
with cut flowers and
palms, and the wedding march
from Lohengrin was played by
August B. Heubner, organist of
the church.
The bride wore a gown of
w h i t e s i l k marquisette made on
princess lines with cap sleeves
and a Peter Pan collar. Her long
veil of tulle was arranged in
crown effect with orange blossoms,
and she carried an old
fashioned bouquet of white sweetheart
roses, lilies and smilax.
Mrs. Norman Andrees who was
matron of honor, was attired in
blue net over satin, also with
puffed sleeves and Peter Pan
collar. She wore a headdress
fashioned of pink roses, sweetpeas
and lilies of the valley, and
carried an old fashioned bouquet
of pink roses, blue bells and baby
breath. The little flower girls
were Virginia Andrees, and Shirley
Moll, wearing frocks of pink
georgette and carrying baskets of
flowers tied with pink ribbon.
The bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy
Hildebrandt, wearing yellow
net over satin and Miss Arlene
Maerten in green net over
satin, made like the gown worn
by the matron of honor and
wearing a similar headdress. Both
also carried old fashioned bouquets.

The groom was attended by
his brother, Raymond Moll, and
the ushers, were Edward Andrees
and Lester Wurl. Mrs.
Thiemecke sang "O, Promise Me"
before the ceremony, also a vocal
solo at the conclusion.
The bride's mother wore an
orchid flowered gown and the
groom's mother, navy blue. Each
wore a corsage of pink roses,
sweet peas and baby breath.
Following the ceremony a reception
for 75 guests was given
at the home of the bride.
Pre-nuptial affairs in honor of
the bride included a linen shower
given by Mrs. Howard Moll,
a variety shower, by Miss Arlene
Harten, a one gift shower
by Mrs. Carl Lureman, a kitchen
shower by Mrs. Norman Andrees
and Mrs. Ernest Andrees and a
variety shower by Mrs. Edward
Heschke, Mrs. William Andrees
Mrs. George Andreas.
