Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bischkopf
of ePndtoton were pleasantly surprised
by their children on Sunday,
the occasion being their 48th wedding
anniversary.
At six o'clock a delightful supper
was served, fifteen were seated at
the table, where the color scheme
in yellow and white was effectively
carried out, the center piece being
s basket of roses and daffodils with
streamers running to vases on each
end of the table.
The anniversary cake which featured
the occasion bore the words
"Forty-eighth Anniversary." in yellow.
It also bore forty-eight yellow
candles which when lighted gave a
very pretty effect and the favors
were yellow daffodil name cards.
Among the guests present were
their three children, William Bischhopf
of this city, Mrs. Elmer HMlev
Of Mapleton and Mrs. William
Mittelstaedt of the Campbell boulevard.
Music waa the feature of the
day. Mr. and Mrs. Bischkopf received
many good wishes from those
being present.
A poem written by Miss Helen
Mittelstaedt, a grand daughter, was
read and proved very interesting.
