SANBORN, June 24-The marriage
of Miss Jane Wendt, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Wendt,
Saunders Settlement Rd., to Edgar
Kroening. son of Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Kroening. Lockport Rd.,
took place at 3:30 o'clock Saturday
afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church. North Tonawanda.
The Rev. Theodore Rchkoff officiated
at the double ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. Her gown was of
white chantilly lace and nylon tulle
over satin. She wore a fingertip veil
and carried a cascade bouquet of
white carnations centered with an
orchid.
Mrs. Kenneth Witkop, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor.
She wore .a pink lace net gown
and carried a cascade bouquet of
deep pink carnations.
Miss Marlyn Wendt, sister of
the bride, was gowned similarly in
blue. Miss Cheryl Kroening, niece
of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
She wore a blue lace and net gown
and carried a basket of flowers.
Joel Wendt, brother of the bride,
was ring bearer.
Clarence Kroening, brother. of
the bridegroom, acted as best man
and the ushers were Albert Kroening
Jr., Ronald Wendt and Glenn
Haseley.
The reception was held at the
Adam's Firehall, Nashville. The
couple left for a trip to New York
and Washington, D. C, and upon
their return will reside in Lockport
Rd., Sanborn.
