A pretty wedding was solemnized at
the St. Paul's church on William
street at five o'clock yesterday afternoon,
when Miss Lena Weigner,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gotlieb
Weigner of Columbia, Mich., was united
in marriage to Mr. Fred Peter of
Martinsville. The ceremony was performed
by the Rev. William Schmitt,
pastor of the church. The bride was
gowned in white crepe meteor with
pearl trimming and caught with orange
blossoms. She carried a shower bouiuet
of Bride roses. The maid ot
honor was Miss Selma Zuckmaier of
Tonawanda. She was gowned in yel
low and wore a Juliet cap of gold lace
and carried pink roses. The bride's
maids were Miss Cora Beitz of Buffalo
and the Misses Josephine Dornfeldt,
Emma Peter and Clara Fritz of
Martinsville. They were gowned in
white and carried pink carnations. The
best man was Louis Peter. The ushers
were Benjamin Jeanecke and Edward
Wurl. A reception was held at
the groom's home on Pierce avenue,
following the ceremony. Covers were
laid for 125 at the wedding supper.
The house was beautifully decorated
in green and white. Mr. and Mrs.
Peter will take up their residence on
Pierce avenue.
