Sherbert-Walck Rites
Held in Medina
Baskets of white mums and pink
carnations decorated the altar of St.
Peter's Lutheran Church, Medina, for
the wedding of Edith Lorraine Walck,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Walck of that city, and Edward Sher-
bert, son of Mrs. Georgia Sherbert of
Frisbee Hill Road.
The Rev. Paul Nemeschy officiated
at the 3 p.m. ceremony which took
place Saturday, August 16th.
Given in marriage by her brother,
Lawrence Walck of Pekin, the bride
chose a gown of white satin and hand-
clipped Chantilly lace featuring a
sabrina neckline and short sleeves.
The embroidered torso extended into a
five tiered ballerina length skirt with
a scalloped hemline. she wore match-
ing mitts and a single strand of
pearls, gift of the groom's mother.
a shoulder-length veil of illusion
was attached to the hand-clipped
Chantilly lace crown which was ac-
cented with hearts made of seed
pearls and irridescent sequins. She
carried a colonial bouquet of white
carnations and stephanotis.
Miss Marilyn Miller, Medina, was
maid of honor and wore nylon net
over taffeta in a deep pink ballerina
length gown that featured a fittefd
bodice and a scooped neckline. She
wore a matching flowered hat and
carried a bouquet of deep pink and
