BERGHOLTZ-St. J a m e s Lutheran
Church here was the setting Saturday (Feb.
9, 1963") for the marriage of Miss Priscilla
Ann DeVantier to Merrill Wilson Bowen Jr.,
both of Buffalo.
Rev. Robert. Lehman officiated at the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John DeVantier, Niagara Falls Boulevard.
Niagara Falls, and the bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Bowen Sr.,
Salamanca.
Given in niarriage by her f,4ther the
bride wore an; ivory brocade gown with impressed
pleats falling to a chapel length
train. An open pillbox headpiece held her
bouffant veil of silk illusion and she carried
a bouquet of white roses.

MISS JOAN DE MARIE was. maid of
honor in a gold velvet street length gown.
She carried three long-stemmed talisman
roses.
Miss Nancy DeVantier, sister of the
bride, was bridesmaid. She-was attired similarly
to the honor attendant.
David Gould was best man and Lenord
Redeye ushered.

A RECEPTION was held at the Boathouse
Restaurant after the ceremony.
The bride's mother wore a turquoise
chiffon sheath and the bridegroom's mother
wore a navy blue dress.
Mr. and Mrs. Bowen will reside at 743
Elmwood Ave., Buffalo.
