ST JOHNSBURG. Oct. 4-One of
the season's loveliest weddings was
solemnized at 4:30 o'clock on Saturdav
afternoon. September 25, when
Miss Erna Schroeder, daughter of
Mr and Mrs. Edward F. Schroeder.
of Errick road. St. J o h n s b u r g , was
united in marriage to Richard
Belke of Buffalo. The Rev J. Walter
Thiemecke officiated. The altar
was beautifully decorated with gladioli
and palms.
The bride was lovely in a gown of
white cut velvet with short train
her long tulle veil was beautiful,
with a halo of orange blossoms. She
carried a shower bouquet of white
bridal roses and baby mums tied
with white ribbon.
Mrs. Elva Mueller sister of the
bride was m a t r o n of honor and
wore an oporto velvet gown with a
slight train and oporto velvet ha;
trimmed with a veil Her a rm bouquet
was of bronze and yellow baby
mums tied with Talisman ribbon.
The bridesmaid. Miss Hilda
Schroeder. wore a gown of sapphire
blue velvet with a blue hat like that
of the matron of honor Her bouquet
consisted of yellow baby mums tier;
w ith yellow ribbon
Edwin Belke acted as best mar.
Beniamin Mueller was groomsman
Mart i n ' G r i m m e r and Albert Belke
were ushers
Mr- Thiemecke sang "Jesus Still
Lead On and "Oh. Promise Me.
accompanied at the organ by August

Following the ceremony dinner
was served to friends and relatives
at the home of the bride The
bride's table was centered with a
threes-tier wedding rake topped with
an ornament consisting of miniature
bride and groom and silver
wedding bell
The bride's mother wore a gown
of navy blue crepe trimmed with
narrow white lace with a shoulder
corsage of red roses and white babymums
Mr and Mrs Belke left on a motor
trip to Cleveland and will make
their home in Buffalo The bride
traveled In n brown outfit with coronation
red coat
