The marriage of Miss Carol Ruth Behm, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Behm of 7169 Ward Rd.,
North Tonawanda and Ronald W. Beck, son of Mr. and
George E Beck o f Eggertsville, was solemnized
May 13 in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Clarence Rabe offici-
ated in a double ring ceremony
before an altar enhanced with
vases of white flowers and white
candelabra tapers entwined with
philodendron and white ribbon.
Clusters of flowers and ribbon
marked family pews. Mrs. Walter
Senechal was the organist and
Emery Ashley the soloist.
The bride wore an original floor
length gown of mirror-mist taffeta,
with a scoop neckline, outlined
with lace and rhinestones,
and a Cathedral length train falling
from a princess waistline accented
with a star bow. The bride
wore her mother's wedding veil,
bordered with lace, which was ca-
thedral length and caught to a
crown headpiece of pearl apple
blossoms. She carried an old-fashioned
bouquet of white flowers
with a shower of lilies of the valley.
Miss Joyce Behm, maid of honor
for her sister wore a. floor
length gown of tiered pink nylon
organdy over satin with a Sabrina
neckline and scalloped sleeves.
Wearing identical costumes were
the bridesmaids, Miss Rachel
Thorman in aqua; Miss Kathy
Beck in orchid and Miss Carol
Jagow in yellow. They wore pearl
jewelry and carried bouquets of
white chrysanthemums and carnations
with netting and ribbon to
match the gowns.
Joann Behm, the bride's sister,
as flower girl wore a pink floor
length tiered frock with puff
sleeves and a scalloped Sabrina
neckline. She wore a link heart
necklace and bracelet and carried
a. basket of white chrysanthemums,
carnations and r o se
petals,
.James Hayes was the best'
man. Ushers were George Beck
Jr., Dale Behm and Calvin Ackerman
and Robert Schuster was the
ring'bearer.
The bride's mother wore a beige
silk organza dress over taffeta accented-
with a scalloped neckline,
lace and rhinestones. Her accessories
were orchid and beige. The
bridegroom's .mother wore a blue
voile dress featuring a scoop neckline
and self-covered buttons
with blue and white accessories.
Both wore corsages of roses and
carnations.
A reception was given in St.
Johnsburg Fire Hall. After a wedding
trip to Eastern States and
Detroit, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Beck
will be at home in Ward Rd.,
North Tonawanda.
