John Hoffmeister of La Salle
announces the engagement of his
daughter Lillian C. to William F.
Bendt of Wilson, the marriage to
take place In the near future.

The marriage of Lilly E , daughter
of John Hoffmeister of LaSalle to
William F. Bendt of Wilson was solemnised
at 4 o clock, October 28th at
the home of the groom's sister, Mrs.
Edward Budde at Wilson, Rev. Kuckbacker
of Bergholtz officiating. The
wedding march was played by Mrs.
Elmer Crutts of Hartland and Mrs.
Fred Bendt sang "O Promise Me."
The ceremony took place beneath an
arch of white wound with myrtle nnd
the house was decorated with cut
flowers of the fall.
The bride was gowned In white
crepe with taffeta and pearls and her
shower bouquet was of bride roses
and lilies of the valley. She was attended
by Miss Florence Wattengall
as honor maid, wearing pink crepe
with rhlnestones and carrying pink
Premier roses, with the groom's sister,
Miss Evelyn Bendt, as bridesmaid,
wearing peach crepe with
Spanish lace and rhlnestones, and
her flowers were also Premier roses.
Lois Budde of Cambria was the
flower girl and carried a basket of
ferns and Snapdragons, while Howard
Bendt attended his brother as best
man and Alfred Strutting acted as
usher. The bride's gift to her maids
were rhinestone bracelets and to her
flower girl a string of pearls while
the groom presented his attendants
with cuff links.
Some 140 guests were present for
the dinner, twelve being at the bridal
table. Dancing followed the music
being furnished by De Fabbio of this
city.
Mr. and Mrs. Bendt will reside in
Wilson.
