At Rites
NORTH TONAWANDA
Miss Carol Ann Blank
became the bride of Rus-,
sell Lee Stewart at 6 p.m.
Saturday (Feb. 27, 1960)
at a candlelight service
at St. Mark's Lutheran
Church.
The Rev. Loren Shlley officiated
at a double-ring
ceremony, u n i t i n g the
daughter of Mr, and Mrs.
Wilbur C. Blank, Sanborn,
and the son of Mr. and Mrs.
Boyd C. Stewart Sr. of Pennington
Gap, Virginia. .
Mrs. Charlene .Winkelmann,
cousin of the bride,
was soloist.

GIVEN IN marriage by
her father, the bride wore
a floor-length gown of lace
and tulle, styled with a
Queen Victoria neckline, fitted
bodice and fuir skirt
of net and lace with ap-
pliques of lace and sequins
on the net;
A pearl crown held her
double-illusion veil of lace
and net, and she carried a
white Bible topped with a
white orchid, hyacinth bells
and ribbon.
Miss Elizabeth Wendt was
the bride's maid of honor.
She wore a gown of blue
chiffon over taffeta. Her
circular veil was held by
a fitted headpiece, and she
carried a colonial bouquet
of carnations and roses,
tied with pink ribbon.

THE BRIDESMAIDS
were the Misses Jean Hill
and Carol Krull. They wore
gowns of pink chiffon and
taffeta, similar to that of
the maid of honor, with
veils of pink net. Their
colonial bouquets were tied
with blue ribbon.
Miss Emilie Durow, cousin
of the bride, and Miss Melissa
Winkelmann were flower
girls.
Their dresses were of
blue chiffon with square
necklines, puffed sleeves
and full, floor-length ruffled
skirts.
Each wore a fitted headpiece
fashioned with a bow
and streamers. Each carried
miniature colonial bouquet,
tied with pink ribbon.

EHLERT WINKELMANN
was best man and the ushers
were Clifford Blank,
brother of the bride, and
Charles Talley.
A reception was held at
the Sanborn Fire Hall following
the ceremony.
The mother of the bride
was attired in a beige
sheath dress with matching
accessories. Her corsage
was of cymbidium orchids.
After a wedding trip to
Virginia, Mr. and Mrs.
Stewart will be at home in
Lower Mountain Rd., Sanborn.
Pre-nuptial parties were
given by the Misses Elizabeth
Wendt, Jean Hill. Carol
Krull and Betty Blank,
held at the home of the
bride.
Mrs. Albert Wilke. Mrs.
Freida Cozad, Mrs. Harold
Tyler, Mrs. Fred Durow,
Mrs. Karl Durow and Mrs.
James Stanton, entertairied
at the home of Mrs. Tyler.
Mrs. Charlene Winkelmann
enteitained at the home of
Mrs. Cozad.
