La Salle, J u n e 29.—A p r e t t y wed-
ding was solemnized at the Lutheran
c h u r c h of Walmore, last Sunday.afternoon
at four o'clock, in the presence
of about 200 g u e s t s , when M i s s
K a t h r a n Wendt of Sanborn and Alb
e r t Pils of Cayuga place, this vill
a g e were united in m a r r i a g e , by t h e
Rev. Mr. G r a b a u of Walmore, the
r i n g service being used. The c h u r ch
was p r e t t i l y decorated with lilies a nd
r o s e s , a n d t h e b r i d e was a t t e n d e d by
her sister Miss Rose Wendt. Her-
bert Kothan of North Tonawanda
was best m a n .
The bride wore a blue tricotine suit
a n d c h a m p a g n e colored h a t , a n d c a r r
i ed white bride's roses. Her maid
wore a gown of blue taffeta silk a nd
c a r r i e d pink roses. The b r i d e ' s gift
to her maid of honor was a gold
brooch set with pearls, and the
groom presented the best man with
a gold f r a t e r n a l pin.
Following the ceremony, a recept
i on was held at the home of the
b r i d e ' s parents, Mr. a n d Mrs. Will
i am Wendt, covers being laid for
about 50 g u e s t s , with 16 at the bride's
table. The color scheme was pink
and white, the t a b l e s being prettily
d e c o r a t ed with roses. The out of
town guests included Mrs. Charles
Derringer and sons Gilbert and Albert,
of Sherrill, and LeKoy Gaul of
North Tonawanda. Upon their return
from several days' motor trip, the
bride and groom will make their
home in Cayuga place, this village.
