Bridegroom's Mother Makes
Ensembles For Bridal Party
The marriage of Miss Mildred Elaine Ives, daughter of
Mr. ana Mrs..Sidney Ives, 15th St., and Edward.Wackett, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wackett, Fourth St. was solem-
nized at St, Mary's of the Cataract (Church on Saturday
(April 7, 1956).
The nylon net and satin wed-
ding ensemble of the bride was
fashioned by the mother of the
bridegroom as well as the cos-
tumes worn by the bridal at-
tendants. The former Miss lves
was attired in a gown styled with
a long torso. and wide bertha
collar. .Her three-quarter length
veil of illusion fell from.a crown
of. seed pearls and rhinestones
and she carried a crescent shaped
bouquet of white carnations cen-
tered with pink tea roses.
Mrs. Harold Zimmerman as
matron of honor was clad in a
blush pink nylon net and satin
gown with a bouquet of pink
carnations. The bridesmaids were
Miss Darla Jane Wackett, In a
yellow ensemble, and Miss Mar--
go Eberhardt, in blue Melody
Zimmerman was the flower girl
in an Azore blue satin gown
with pink, accessories.
Harold Zimmerman was best
man and the ushers were Leonard
Rivers and Raymond Ives Steven
Eberhardt was the ring bearer.
Pink accessories accented the
gun metal grey dress worn by
the mother of the bridegroom.
The wedding breakfast and
dinner were held at the home
of the bridegroom's parents and
were followed by the reception
at the Active Hose Fire Co.
The couple will reside in 17th
street.
