Trinity Lutheran church was the
scene of an impressive wedding yesterday
afternoon when at 4 o'clock Rev.
Herman Meier united In marriage Miss
Alma E. Hsnnlng, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Helmuth Henning of Church
street and Harold L. Volschow also of
thia city.
The church was handsomely decorsted
with palms, ferns, marguerites
snd roses, and the bride, given In marriage
by her father, was gowned In
white satin and her tulle veil was fastened
with a wreath of orange blossoms.
She carried a shower bouquet of
bride roses. Attending her as honor
maid was her sister, Gertrude, wearing
nile green, while Eleanor Henning and
Irene Volschow, sisters of the bride
and groom, were ths bridesmaids, one
in pink, the ether la blue, snd all wore
white hats and carried bouquets of
roses and sweet peas, ths flowers of the
maid of honor being Ophelia roses aad
those of the bridesmaids pink. Little
Frances Greenthaner made *a dainty
flower girl and Arthur Sy attended the
groom svs best man While ushers were
Henry Levi and Edward Kandt Mrs,
Henning wore a handsome gowa of
brown Canton crepe.
A reception of 75 guests was held at
the house, where roses and many other
flowers prevailed, and II were seated
at the bridal table which waa In colors
of pink and whits and cantered with
the bridal cake. The groom's gift to. the
bride waa money, to hie best man a
stick pin. and to his ushers, cuff links
To her maids ths bride presented silver
Later Mr. and Mrs. Volschow left
for an eastern trip, the bride wearing a
suit of navy trlcottn* with black lace
hat and they wll reside at JIT Church
stre-a. Quests were present from 01-
cott, Wilson, Newfane, Medina aad
Middleport.
