Miss Sally Ann Tirabassi
became the bride of Glenn
Joel Virga in a double ring
ceremony performed by the
Rev Paul LeTourneau at
Prince of Peace Church
Saturday (Feb. 15, 1969).
The bride is the daughter
of Mrs. Rose Tirabassi, 9470
Pine Ave., and the late Benjamin
T i r a b a s s i . The
bridegroom is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Santo Virga, 1061
101st St.
Given in marriage by her
brother, Benjamin Tirabassi,
the bride was attired in a
princess style gown of gardenia
silk organza fashioned
with a Florentine neckline
accented with lace appliques
trimmed with pearls and
crystals, long tapered sleeves
and a floating chapel train.
Her veil, a waterfall mantilla
of silk illusion, was edged in
peau d' ange lace and she
carried a cascade of white
roses and stephanotis centered
with an orchid.
Mrs. Thomas O'Leary, matron
of honor, wore a candy
pink chiffon gown with long
puff sleeves edged with tiny
flowers and accented at the
empire bodice with an olive
velvet bow. A cluster of petals
and puffs secured her bouffant
veil and she carried a
bouquet of; deep pink carnations
and roses. Similarly attired
in petal pink were the
bridesmaids, Miss Virginia
Virga, s i s t e r of the
bridegroom, Miss Linda
Tirabassi and Miss Linda
•Bruno.
John Zimmerman was best
man. Ushers were Donald
Hetrick, Ross Zimmerman
and Timothy Bailey.
A brunch and evening dinner
and reception were held
at the Como Restaurant.
