The marriage of Miss Florence Giertz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Edward Giertz or the Settlement Road, and Walter I, Moden of Hartland was quietly solemnized Saturday evening in the Hartland Methodist Church. At 7 o'clock the bridal party entered the church to the strains of the Lohengrin Weddlng March rendered by Mrs. Floyd Cothran of Orangeport. The Rev.Lyle S. Owen performed the service In the presence of the immediate families and a few friends.The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a powder blue crepe dress of street length, with matching blue felt hat. She wore a shoulder corsage of pink roses and white carnations. Her sister Mrs Albert Kramp of Gasport and Mrs.George Prttchard of Hartland were attendants. Each wore blue and red corsasres. George Moden and Albert Kramp attended the groom.Preceding the service Mrs Harriet Jessup sang "O Promise Me."Following the ceremonies a reception was held In the home of the bride's parents. Later Mr. and Mrs. Moden left for a short trip.
