Virtuoso-DlRuscio
One of the loveliest of the sea
son's marrlagea was solemnized recently
at St. Joseph's church, where
the Right Rev. Monslgnor P. J.
Tronolone officiated at the double
ring ceremony and Nuptial High
Mass, Joining in marriage Miss Elia
DiRuscio and Mr. Guido D. Virtuoso.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Salvatore DiRuscio, of
523 Twenty-second street, and Mr.
Virtuoso, overseas veteran, is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Gaetano Virtuoso,
of 622 Twenty-first street.
The marriage vows were exchanged
before the illuminated altar.
The bride was given in marriage
by her father. She wore a white
satin gown fashioned with satin
bodice and full chiffon skirt. A
tiara of orange blossoms held her
fingertip veil of illusion. She carried
a bouquet of white roses with
an orchid center.
Miss Adeline Virtuoso, a sister of
the bridegroom, was the maid of
honor. She chose a gown of yellow
satin with an overskirt of net. Her
headdress was of yellow plumes.
Attending the bride were Miss
Angle Mastropoulo and Miss Antoinette
Navaro. Each wore a gown
of aqua fashioned on dainty lines.
The attendants and the maid of
honor carried bouquets of yellow
flowers.
Mr. Octavio Virtuoso, brother of
the bridegroom, was the best man.
The ushers were Mr. Veri Fulgenzi
and Lieutenant Dom G. Mitro, of
Fort Clellan, Ala., a Southwest
Pacific area veteran.
Mrs. DiRuscio. mother of the
bride, wore a black suit with dark
accessories. Mrs. Virtuoso, mother
of the bridegroom, also wore black
with dark accessories. Each wore
a corsage of red roses.
After their wedding trip to New-
York City and Boston. Mass.. the
couple will reside at 622 Twentyfirst
street.
