The marriage of Miss Evelyn Bars,
daughter of Mr andMrs Roy Bars
of Town of Lockport, and Walter
Payne Jr.. son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Payne Appleton, was solemn-
ized Monday at 1 o'clock at the home
of the Rev. William H. Dallmann
pastor of the German Lutheran
Church. Ridgewood.
The bride wore a dress of pale
blue trimmed with a lace collar, yoke
and pockets. She wore a corsage of
roses and gardenias. Her sister,
Miss Ethel Bars, was her only attendant,
wearing a white dress and
corsage similar to that of the bride.
Howard Ellis of-Hartland was best
man.
A wedding supper was served to
members of the bridal party and Immediate
families at the home of
the bride's pareuts.
Mr and Mrs. Payne will make
their home on Chestnut Ridge.
