Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Walsh of
49 Capitol Street today observed
their 25th wedding anniversary.
The wedding took place on June
23, 1920, in St. Aloyslus Church
and the ceremony was performed
by the late Rev. J. J. McGrath.
The nuptial Mass was celebrated
by Rev. John Neary, then assistant
pastor and now in Aurora.
The attendants were Mary A.
Carey and Patrick W. Walsh.
This morning a wedding anniversary
Mass was sung at St.
Mary's Church and a dinner for
the immediate family and relatives
will be served at the Walsh
home this evening. Mr. and Mrs.
Walsh have three sons in the service
of this country, and a daughter.
Staff Sergt. Thomas Walsh,
USAAF, is a gunner aboard a
B-29 Superfortress and he has
been on 28 combat missions. PFC
John C. Walsh, USMC, now is on
duty in the Panama Canal Zone,
and Pvt. David Walsh. USMC. is
in North Carolina. The daughter.
Mrs. Charles B. Waterbouse, resides
in Auburn.
