RANSOMVILLE, Nov 2 - A lovely
wedding was solemnized on Satur-
day evening at 7 o'clock at the
home of the bride's parents when
Miss Gertrude Wiepert, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wiepert, of
this village, and Elton K. Wilkins,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilkins,
of North Ridge, were united in mar-
riage. The Rev. Carl Oldach, pas-
tor of the North Ridge Lutheran
church, performed the ceremony.
To the strains of Lohengrin's
wedding march, played by Mrs. Al-
bert Hecht, sister of the bride, the
bride entered the living room on
the arm of her father. She was
lovely in a floor length gown of bllue
taffeta, made with jacket effect,
with ruffled sleeves and ruffles at
the hemline. She wore a tiara of
brillants and silver slippers and
carried a bridal bouquet of bride's
roses and white pompoms tied with
a white satin bow.
Miss Leona Donner, the maid of
honor was gowned in gold-colored
taffeta, floor length, made with
jacket effect and short puffed
sleeves. Gold slippers completed
her costume. She carried an arm
bouquet of yellow roses and pom-
poms.

The bride's mother chose a gown
of flowered crepe and the mother of
the groom was attired In blue crepe.
Following the ceremony, a wedding
supper was served at the home
of the bride's parents for the members
of the immediate families. The
bride's table, at which ten were
seated, was attractively decorated in
a color scheme of green and white
and centered with a beautiful fourtiered
wedding cake, flanked by
green and white tapers.
Ttoe bride's gift to the maid of
honor was a compact and the groom
presented a billfold to the best man.
Mr, and Mrs. Wilkins left on a
short motor trip, after which they
will reside in Ransomvllle. The
bride was attired in a black crepe
ouemble with matching accessories.
Prenuptial affairs for the bride
vere: A linen shower given by
Miss Edna Wilkins and Mrs. Elmer
Wilkins at the home of Mrs. Fred
Trippensee; a variety shower by Miss
Leana Donner; a variety shower by
Miss Doris Sievert. at which the
Sunday achool teachers of St.
Peter's Lutheran churchy North
Ridge, were present; a party by
Mrs. Charles Wiepert, Mrs. Albert
Hecht and Mrs. Franklin Miller in
the home of the latter at which the
bride was presented with a beautiful
floor lamp.
Guests at the wedding were
present from Sanborn, Wilson.
Youngstown. Lockport, North Ridge
and Ransomvllle.
