A lovely winter wedding was solemnized
by candlelight at the Zion
Evangelical Lutheran church on
January 1. at 7:30 pm., when Bettie
Jeane Williams, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Clyde Williams, of Hebbronville,
Texas, became the bride of
Thomas P. Winker, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Fred J. Winker, of this city.
The Rev. Arthur Schmoyer offiiciated
at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was beautifully gowned
In a black wool tailored suit with
matching velvet accessories. She
carried a prayer book with an orchid
and satin streamers.
The maid of honor, Miss Eldora
Bariickman, of Warren, Ohio, was
lovely In her pink wool Jersey suit
and feathered hat to match. Her
corsage was of red rosebuds and
mums.
Mr. Kenneth E. Winker, brother
of the bridegroom, was the best man.
Following the ceremony, a recep-
tion was held at the home of the
bridegroom's parents.
After a brief wedding trip in Can-
ada, the young couple will reside in
this city.
