NORTH TONAWADA - Miss Marie Ann
Winkley became the bride of Dean Edward
Sherk at the Payne Avenue Christian Church
at 3 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 20, 1966).. Rev.
Lyle Newman officiated at the double ring
ceremony for the daughter of Mr.- and Mrs.
James F.-Winkley, 5776 Buffalo St., Sanborn,
and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sherk,
172 Zimmerman St., North Tonawanda.

GIVEN IN. MARRIAGE by her father, the
bride wore a gown of silk organza over taffeta
with imported peau d'ange lace. A band
of lace accented the scalloped circlet neck-,
line. The modified dome skirt was appliqued
with matching lace, as were the short sleeves.
Matching lace motifs decorated the full chapel
train. The bouffant illusion veil was attached
to a Dior cabbage rose with lace petals Accented
with bridal pearls. She carried a colonial
bouquet of roses and mums.

MATRONOF HONOR, Mrs. Harold
Schultz, Sapborn, sister of the bride, was attired
in a mint green A line floor length gown
of white lace over taffeta. Her bouquet was of
roses and mums colored to match her dress.
A petal headpiece secured her veil.
Bridesmaids Miss Beverly Sherk, sister of
the bridegroom,. Miss Jerrianne Wojtowicz,
Sanborn, and Miss Lynn Schweitzer, Ridgeway,
Ont. v were attired similarly to the matron
of honor in pastel colors.
Best man was. Peter Thorne, Williamsville.
Guests were seated by Donald L. Winkley,
Brookifeld, Conn., brother of the bride, Harold
F. Schultz, Sanborn, brother-in-law of the
bride, and Joseph Spancic, Buffalo.

A RECEPTION was held at Harding's
Restaurant, Youngstown, from 5 .to 8 p.m.
For the reception, the bride's mother wore
a pink silk shantung dress with matching
jacket and the bridegroom's mother wore a
mint green knit dress with matching accessories.
