Snapdragone, ferns and candelabra
decorated, the alter of St.
John's Lutheran church Saturday
when Miss Betty Jane Zastrow, daughter
of Mr. and Mn. Edward Zastrow,
Ward road, North Tonawarida,
became the bride of Mr. Kenneth
Sprenger, son of Mr. and "Mrs. Walter
Sprenger, Cremer street, North
Tonawanda. .
The Rev. J. W. Thiemecke, officiated
at the ceremony. Mrs.
Thiemecke sang "O Promise Me",
"I Love You Truly" and the "Lord's
Prayer." Mrs. Senechal accompanied
her at the organ.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride was dressed in a gown of
traditional satin and lace. It was
fashioned with a tight-beaded bodice
and a V-yoke of Chantilly lace. The
full skirt Avorn over a hoop, extended
into a cathedral-length train. Her
fingertip veil, edged in lace fell from
a heart-shaped lace bonnet trimmed
with orange blossoms. She carried
a bouquet of white carnations and
iris centered with an orchid.
Mn. June Kropp, sister of the bride
and matron of honor, wore an orchid
taffeta gown, with 'a yoke of Chantilly
lace. Her mitts were of matching
lace and her headpiece was a lace
hat trimmed with velvet ribbon. She
carried a fan-shaped bouquet of yellow
carnations and pink camellias.
The bridesmaids, Miss Jeanene
Werth, Miss Virginia Andrees, Miss
Alice Liebeck . and .Mrs. Norma
Sprenger, wore matching Nile green
taffeta gowns styled with rolled offthe-
shoulder collars. 'They wore
matching taffeta mitts and carried
fan-shaped arm bouquets of yellow
and pink flowen.
Linda Ann Zastrow,' sister of the
bride, was flower girl and wore a
gown of orchid taffeta with a ruffled
bertha. She also wore taffeta mitts,
and a taffeta bonnet.
Ronald Tussing, cousin of the
bridegroom, Was ring bearer and
tarried a white satin and lace pillow.
Mr Carlton Sprenger was his brother's
best man. Mr. Allan Sprenger,
Mr. Elton Kropp, Mr. Richard Zastrow
and Mr. Joseph Surage were
ushers.
The bride's mother chose a navy
blue crepe dress trimmed with pink
lace. Navy accessories and a.corsage
of pink roses completed her ensemble.-
Mrs. Sprenger, mother of the bridegroom,
wore a rose colored dress
with navy accessories. She also wore
a corsage of pink roses.
A- reception following the ceremony
was held at the Ukranian hall.
For a motor trip to Washington,
D. C, the bride chose a brown suit
and coil, with brown accessories. Her
Ensemble was complimented with an
orchid'corsage.
Upon their return Mr., and Mrs.
Sprenger will be at home in Ward
road, North Tonawanda
