WOLCOTTSVILLE.-An attractive
wedding was solemnized Wednesday
afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in
St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran
church here, when Miss Florence
E. Witkop. daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
Elmer Witkop, of this village, be-
came the bride of B. Franklin Covel,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Earle Covel,
of route 5, Lockport. The Rev. Fred
Schleef performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a gown of whtie
velveray mousseline de sole with
puffed sleeves and a sweetheart
neckline. Her fingertip-length veil
was caught with a cornation crown
of pearl and orange blossoms. She
carried a bouquet of white roses
and gypsophelia.
She was attended by Mrs. Lloyd
Bowen, who wore a gown of peach
chiffon with lace insertion, short
puffed sleeves and square neckline.
She carried abouquet of pink roses
and gypsophelia. Lloyd W. Bown,
cousin of the groom, was best man.
The bride's mother wore a blue
paisley sheer silk dress and the
groom's mother wore a blue flow-
ered sheer with white accessories.
Both wore corsages of pink roses,
sweet peas and gypsophilia.
A wedding supper was served at
the bride's home to the immediate
families. Covers were laid for 25
with 12 seated at the bridal table
which was centered with a large
four-tiered wedding cake. The house
was attractively decorated with
baskets of peonies, roses and ferns.
Later a reception for 85 guests
was held at the bride's home.
