Mrs. Ellsworth Heppler and
Mrs. James Soos entertained at a
variety shower Aug. 26 in compliment
to Mrs. Elton Zappendorf, a
recent bride.
A lily pond filled with snapdragons
was the centerpiece at the
table which was decorated in pink
and blue. Favors were pink and
blue swans filled with tiny cut
flowers.
Mrs. Zappendorf received a corsage
and shower gifts.
Cards were played and prizes
awarded Mrs. Leslie Chase, Mrs.
Donald Werth, Miss Oneida Harder
and Miss Helen Koch.
Mrs. Zappendorf, the former
Miss Mabel Bucholz, daughter of
Mrs. Joshua Reinhard, and Mr.
Zappendorf, son of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Zappendorf, were
married July 31 in the parsonage
of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
The Rev. F. A. Hinners officiated.
Mrs. Soos and Melvin Dexheimer
were bridal attendants. Mr. and
Mrs. Zappendorf are at home In
1779 Linden Ave.
