Miss Loretta Glemb, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Glemb, of
Twenty-fifth street, became the
bride of Staff Sergeant John Bielec,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Idabor Bielec,
of Twenty-seventh street, in a dou-
ble ring ceremony, performed by the
Rev. Hejza in St. Stanislaud Kostka
church. The altar was decorated
with pink gladioli.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was gowned in white
slipper satin. the period gown was
fashioned with a square braided
neckline. the folds of the skirt
draped gracefully from the hips.
Her fingertip veil was held in place
by a tiara of braided satin. She
carried a prayer book topped with
orchids adn streamers with ilies-
of-the-valley.
Miss Jane Kubik, maid of honor,
wore a coral marquisette gown, a
shoulder length veil cascaded from
her braided crown.
Her bridesmaids, Miss Mary Nie
mieco and Miss Anne Gabrielli, se-
lected identical gowns of yellow and
blue taffeta and matching tiaras of
flowers. All attendants carried
spray bouquets of roses and chrys-
anthemuums.
Technical Sergeant William Kop-
czynski was best man. The ushers
were Technical Sergeant Henry
Swiedergal and Private First Class
John Buchalski.
The bride's mother wore a maroon
velvet dress with matching acces-
sories. The bridegroom's mother
wore black.. Both mothers wore cor-
sages of roses.
After the ceremony a delightful
reception was held at the Lincoln
hotel with 150 guests in attendance.
The bride chose for travel an
olive green gabardine suit with
matching brown accessories. She
wore her bridal orchids as her cor-
sage.
Upon the return from their wed-
ding trip to New York City. Mr..
and Mrs. John Bielec will reside at
483 Twenty-seventh street.
A shower for the bride was given
by the bridal group.
The bridegroom Sergeant John
Lielec and Private First Class John
Buchalski were recently honorably
discharged from the U. S. Army.
