A very pretty wedding was solemniced
Tuesday morning. November 23,
at ten o'clock at St. Mary'a church.
Swormsville, when Miss Christine H.
Garlock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
George Garlock was united in marriage
to Mr. Philip M. Thiebolt of
Tonawanda, Rev. Father Dehlinger officiating.
The bride was charming in
White charmeu.se with an overdress
of georgette crepe trimmed with
pearls, her tulle veil being caught up
with a wreath of orange blossoms.
She caroled a shower bouquet of bride
roses and dew drops. Miss Cecilia Garlock,
sister of the bride, who was maid
of honor, wore pale blue crepe-dechine
with "shadow lace, and carried
pink chrysanthemums. The brides
maid was Miss Cathleen Thiebolt, sis
ter of the grdom, and she wore yellow
chrysanthemums. The groom's
brother, Mr. William Thiebolt. was
the best man and Mr. Henry Metz acted
as usher.
A reception for about one hundred
relatives and friends was held at the
home of the bride, eighteen covers being
laid at the bride's table, which
was centered with a wedding cake
The house decorations were in pink
and white. Music was furnished by the
Eldiidge quartette, Mr. Ralph Gagnon
at the piano. Dancing was the feature
of the evening. After a short weddiner
trip, Mr. and Mrs. Thibolt will be at
home in 240- Broad street.
The out of town guests included Mr
and Mrs. Philip Thiebolt, Sr., and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Garlock
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Garlock and family
and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Metz of
Tonawanda, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Garlock and the Misses Elizabeth and
Mildred Lamm of Buffalo.
