WED SATURDAY - Mr.
Mrs. Frank Barber were married
Saturday evening at the First
English Lutheran Church. Mrs.
Barber is the former B e t ty
Becker. Mr. Barber is serving in
the U. S. Navy.

Baskets of white lilies formed the background for the
marriage of Miss Betty Becker, daughter, of Mr. and Mrs.
Herbert Becker of 288 Walnut St. and Frank Barber Saturday
evening at 7 o'clock at the First English Lutheran Church. The
Rev. Ivan L Lange officiated at the ceremony.
The bride was attired In a gown
of white bridal satin fashioned with
a redingote of Chantilly lace with
high neckline and long sleeves
pointed at the wrist. Her veil of
nylon tulle edged with nylon lace
was caught to a cap of seed pearls
and she carried a cascade bouquet
of whit« carnations and angel
feathers.
Miss Ann Becker of Barker,
counsin of the bride, was maid of
honor, wearing, a gown of pastel
pink taffeta with overskirt of deeper
pink nylon net and her head
piece was of matching braided net
entwined with white flowers.
The bridesmaids were Miss Nancy
Gormley whose gown was of
pastel green taffeta with oversinrt
of deeper green, and Miss Elaine
Arnold of Barker, who wore pastel
orchid taffeta with overskirt of
darker orchid. They wore matching
headpieces fashioned after the
maid of honor's. All carried cascade
bouquets of white carnations

Pa., a cousin of the bride, was
the flower girl.
David Brown was best man and
the ushers were David Korff and
James Spedding.
Appropriate organ music was
provided by Mrs. George Webb and
Miss Zora Gatley of Barker was
soloist.
Mrs. Becker chose a dress of
light blue nylon marquisette over
taffeta with white accessories and
a corsage of white carnations.
Following the ceremony a reception
to 360 was held at t he
home of the bride's parents, which
was decorated with arrangements
of garden flowers. Refreshments
were served from a lace covered
table, centered with a five-tiered
wedding cake.
For a trip to the Northeastern
states the bride chose a suit dress
of melon pink with white accessories
and a corsage of white carnations
and angel feathers.
Out-of-town guests were f r om
Genesee and Uniontown. Pa., Barker.
Niagara Falls. Rochester and
Albion.
The bridegroom, who has been
.serving in the U. S. Navy for the
past eight months, is stationed at
Earle, N.J.
Pre-nuptial showers in honor of
the bride wre given by the fol-
lowing: Mrs. Lyle Jackson and
Mrs. Elmer Warren at the home
of Mrs. Jackson in Niagara Falls;
Miss Elaine Arnold and Miss Phyl-
lis Neithe at Miss Arnold's home;
Mrs. David Brown and Jud-
ith Gilbert at Miss Gilbert's home
on Bright Street; Mrs. Jesse
Sanmarco at her home on Clin-
ton Street and Mrs. Frank Pen-
kalski at her home on North
Transit Street.
