A pretty spring wedding was
solemnized on Saturday afternoon
at four o'clock in the First Evangelical
church, when Miss Virginia
Trautman, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Eugene Trautman of 264
Adam street, was united in marriage
to LaVern. Schmeichel, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schmeichel
of 141 Stenzel street, the Rev.
Lester Driftmyer, officiating.
The church was decorated with
palms and large candelabra were
placed on either side of the pulpit.
A bouquet of pink roses flanked
with white candles adorned the
altar. The pews were marked with
pink and white bows. The wedding
music was played by Mrs. LaVerne
Selover and Miss Vera Robearge
sang, Because, preceding the cere-
mony.
The bride, who was given in
marriage by her father, wore a
white stardust velvaray gown,
made princess style. Her circular
finger-tip veil was scalloped at the
