Miss Ruth Vaaler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving 0.
Vaaler of 380 Tremont street, became the bride of LaMar
R. Albright, Staff Sgt. U.S. Army Engineers, son of Mr.
and Mrs. William C. Albright of 121 Keil street, in an impressive
ceremony performed at the home of her parents
on Tuesday evening, January 17 at 7 o'clock. The Rev. Herman
Barbery officiated before an altar of palms, ferns and
large baskets of white carnations and snapdragons.
The bride wore a soldier blue
velveteen dress with wild grape
accessories. Her corsage was of
orchids.
Miss Jane Vaaler was her sister's
only attendant. She wore
a dusty pink wool dress with a
pink roses corsage. Mr. Richard
Joerg was best man.
Mrs. Vaaler, the bride's mother
was attired in a royal blue velvet
dress with a corsage of gardenias.
Mrs. Albright, the groom's
mother wore aqua crepe dress
with a gardenia corsage. Miss
Eva Fraser played the wedding
music.
The couple left for a few days
in Chicago, Ill., and will be home
after January 25th in Spokane,
Washington.
