A very pretty wedding was solemnised
at an early hour Tuesday morning
when Miss Eleanor May O'Connell became
the bride of Mr. Charles Newell
Allen, at St. Mary's, church, Niagara
falls, the fiev. Felix Scullen officiating.
The bride wore her travelling suit
of royal blue pongee with a picture
hat to match. She wore a large corsage
bouquet of violets. Mrs. Arthur Edward
Munson, of Medina, attended her
sister as matron of honor, and shs wore
a cream Bedford eord suit with a cream
tteubrand hat to watch and wore a corsage
bouquet of pink sweet peas. Mr.
Alphonse D. Allen attended the groom.
Immediately after the ceremony the
bridal couple left for Buffalo, where a
wedding breakfast was served at
Hotel Statler.
Mr. and Mra Allen left Buffalo en
the neon train for Chicago and other
western points. They will be at home
for the summer after May 1st at
Lima, Ohio. Mr. and Mrs. Allen were
the recipients of many beautiful gifts.
Among the pre-nuptial events were
a linen shower by Mrs. Arthur Munson,
and a china shower by Miss Margaret
Fanning, of Medina, and a dinner by
Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Allen, of Niagara
Falls.
