The marriage ol Miss Mary C.
Boddecker, daughter of Mrs. Catherine
Boddecker and the late Mr.
Martin Boidecker, of Twenty-fifth
street, andj Mr. John J. Archbold,
son of Mr.wnd Mrs. George J. Archbold,
College avenue, was solemnized
at a Nuptial High Mass at Our Lady
of the Rosary church at 9:30 ajn.
last Saturday. The Rev. John Collins
officiated. The Rev. John M.
Ryan, pastor of St. Teresa's church,
w»s present on the altar.
The bride was given In marriage
by her brother, Mr. John Boddecker.
She wore a gown of white brocaded
saun wuli a high marquisette neckline
and filled bodice. She carried
a white prayer book centered with
gardenias. Her full skirt ended in
a long, graceful train. The veil fell
from a coronet of orange blossoms.
Miss Margaret M. Archbold, sister
of the bridegroom, was maid of honor
and the bride's only attendant.
She wore an ice blue chiffon gown
with tight bodice and full skirt. Her
headdress was a matching calot with
a shoulder length veil.
Mr. Frank Salada was the best
man. Mr. James O'Connor and
George J. Archbold, Jr., served as
ushers.
The bride's mother wore a black
crepe dress with a gardenia and rose
corsage and the bridegroom's mother
wore a winter blue dress with a
gardenia and rose corsage.
During the Mass the Ave Marie
was sung by Mrs. Loretta Stivers.
After the ceremony, a breakfast
was served at the Samovar for the
wedding party, immediate families
and close friends, including the pastor
of the bride's church, Father
Collins and the pastor of the bride-
groom's church. Father Ryan. Later
a reception was held at the home of
the bride's -parents.
The bride and bridegroom left on
a trip to New York City, the bride
traveling in a toast brown gabardine
suit with brown accessories. Mr.
and Mrs. John J. Archbold, upon
their return, will reside at 605 Twen-
ty-filth street.
