Mr. and Mrs. Harry Alllnson announce
the engagement of their
daughter, Nellie Marjory to Bertram
Curry, the wedding to take place
June 2.

A very pretty early June wedding
took place at the Church of the Redeemer
Saturday, June 2nd. at 2 p.m.,
when Nellie Marjory Allinson became
the bride of Bertram Curry. The bride
entered the church on her father's arm
while the choir sang. The bride wore
a dress of ecru imported lace and chiffon
with hat to match and blonde
slippers and stockings. She carried a
boquet of pink roses, lilies of the valley
and sweet peas tied with white bridal
ribbon. Marie Allinson, sister of the
bride, acted as bridesmaid. She wore
a dress of coral georgette, black horsehair
hat and black satin slippers. She
carried a bouquet of yellow daisies,
snapdragons, gladiolus and gypsophilas
and was tied with a bow of yellow mallne.
Edmond Curry, brother of the
groom, acted as best man. Mrs. Allinson,
mother of the bride, wore navy
blue georgette and black hat. Mrs.
Curry, mother of the groom, wore
powder blue georgette and black hat.
Arch Allinson and Dudley Rhoda were
ushera. A reception was held for 150
guests at the church immediately following
the ceremony. Eighteen were
seated at the bride's table, Mr. and
Mrs. Curry have left on a wedding trip
to Washington, D. O. They win be
at 1824 Willow avenue, after June 15th
